a hand holding a cup of iced coffee

As a barista, I'm disappointed. It's a coffee shop on a college campus- don't expect much. The line is always insanely long and it's obvious the people working behind the counter haven't worked in a coffee shop (at no fault to them, just an efficiency issue). I usually have to repeat my order a few times before they're able to punch it in correctly (and the order is simple). The wait is usually a little long, so I definitely wouldn't recommend stopping by if you're in a rush. I've gotten an iced mocha and a cold brew there- both have fallen flat. The mocha didn't taste like mocha at all, and my cold brew, which I asked for foam on, had so little foam that it all went through the straw hole when I put the lid on. Obviously if you're in a pinch for coffee it's fine, but I would strongly recommend going to Peet's downtown- they know what's up.

Cries. Cheap, but expensive for what it is. Got a ham croissant and it tasted like mayo on a day old Costco croissant. Employee did not wash hands or wear gloves while handling the food and she was just at the cash register. I will never get anything from here again.

The lovely ladies suggested tropical berry fruit shakers for the kids and black tea for mine to spice it up!! Thank you!!!

While Starbucks is kinda off campus, Peet's coffee becomes my regular and favorite place for coffee with AggieeCash. Their menu has a variety of options ranging from coffee, hot tea, to cold beverages, and even grab-and-go food. I love the Chocolate and Caramel Swirl Javiva here. Highly recommended.

Good service, great latte. Ambiance was nice in the morning but busy later in the day. Little pricy but nice for a pick me up!

The staff was very friendly, the coffee was great, and the croissant was delicious. The atmosphere is also really nice. Since it's located on a university campus, there are a lot of busy students around, but it doesn't take away from the experience at all, you can still relax and enjoy your coffee and food. Make sure to leave a tip at places like this, the service is excellent, and even something small like 50 cents is appreciated. Thanks, Temple Roasted Coffee!

I won't go into the reasons why, but I wound up forgetting to order my coffee decaffeinated. I wound up ordering a Mexican mocha with almond milk and light whip. I also ordered a veggie scone. Both the barista and the person working the counter were friendly and nice. I LOVED the Mexican mocha. It wasn't too sweet (which I was worried about), didn't need sugar, but was delicious. It had a nice mix of the robust coffee flavor and the richness of the Mexican chocolate. The scone was good. I liked the mix of veggies and cheese. I think it would have been better if it were heated. This cafe is somewhat small. While there is a good amount of seating, it gets pretty packed in here. I'd say my biggest con of this cafe if you're drinking your coffee there are the seats and the lack of electrical outlets to charge your computer. The bar stools are pretty uncomfortable. I really could only sit the stool for about an hour. Since the stools didn't have a backrest, I started getting sore. I'd definitely get coffee here again.

Also, the hojicha latte was perfect and the amount of sweetener was also perfect for me. I love that they let you customize it to your liking. I'm excited to come back and try their other drinks (although the hojicha was so good I also need it again)! And it's such a convenient location - right by UCD campus.

When I went on a rainy and windy Saturday afternoon there were tons of college students studying and it was quiet inside and pretty much all the seats were filled. Their menu had normal coffee drinks and lattes such as Americano, cappuccino, mocha, jasmine and earl grey tea. They also had unique drinks such as miso caramel latte, pandan latte, matcha pandan latte, matcha and hojicha. In addition, they had a spring seasonal menu and their current specials were a mango matcha drink and passion fruit espresso drink with tonic water. I ordered the hojicha latte with oat milk with light sweetener and light ice. They had options of whole milk, almond, or oat milk for milk. The cashier told me light ice meant there was going to be more oat milk. It was $5.80 which is cheaper than most cafes for hojicha however the quality wasn't as great as other cafes I've been to. The hojicha latte lacked flavor and tasted oily and didn't have the nutty flavor I'm used to but I still finished it. They usually have two bathrooms and they only had one available and sometimes you had to wait in a line for 20 min since there was so many people in the cafe which is inconvenient. Hopefully, they have the other bathroom fixed soon. Overall, it's a nice cafe with nice ambiance and some unique drink selections but I was not satisfied with the hojicha latte as there was no flavor. At least the prices are lower than other cafes. Maybe another drink would have been better.

Clean establishment, very simple menu! Love their seasonal menus! They craft some good drinks! They do have a point system where you can redeem "seeds"! And my ice mocha was free today! Customer service at every location is wonderful! And the Pachamama team know their regulars that come in! They have nice merch at this location too! I will say their drinks are just top tier and their chocolate they use for their mocha is THE REAL DEAL! None of that sugary chocolate! You can taste the CACAO! Which I appreciate!! And thank you for always having my whole milk! Stop by for your next caffeine fix here!

The space is larger than I anticipated, which was nice. I checked out their specials and opted to order their olive latte (it was made with olive oil). I was hoping they had some type of pastry, but alas, nothing except a few prepackaged bars. Once I got my latte, I took a seat. The latte was OK. I thought I may be able to taste/at least smell the olive oil undertones, but didn't. The latte was good. Will I be back? Maybe.

The Cloudbreaker immediately met my taste buds with bitterness and then left my tongue completely numb for several minutes. Perhaps those sensations would have paid off if they were followed by a calming or THC-like effect, but I didn't experience any change in mental state. The comfortable atmosphere saves this establishment from 1 star. Dim lights, leather couches, chill music, and colorful tiki wall art make for a decent study spot or date night. However, if you're hanging out at a business, you gotta support it, and to support it, you gotta buy something -- I can't see myself buying anything kava-related with any ounce of enjoyment. Surely there must be some variation of a kava drink that tastes delightful. I don't want to spend any more money finding out though.

My husband ordered the Mexican mocha, and this one really missed the mark. He's had Mexican mochas from other coffee shops before, but this one was overwhelmingly dominated by the Mexican chocolate flavor, making it basically undrinkable. Atmosphere The café itself is very clean, modern, and spacious. There was plenty of seating and a good number of students studying inside, which gave it a calm, productive vibe. It's definitely a nice space to hang out or get some work done. Service Service was great -- the cashier was friendly, and our drinks were made quickly. Overall While the drinks weren't what we hoped for, the interior and service were solid. We're unsure if we'd return for coffee specifically, but we would come back to try their breakfast options.
