    Ham croissant
    Emily X.

Cries. Cheap, but expensive for what it is. Got a ham croissant and it tasted like mayo on a day old Costco croissant. Employee did not wash hands or wear gloves while handling the food and she was just at the cash register. I will never get anything from here again.

The lovely ladies suggested tropical berry fruit shakers for the kids and black tea for mine to spice it up!! Thank you!!!

    Chocolate and Caramel Swirl Javiva

While Starbucks is kinda off campus, Peet's coffee becomes my regular and favorite place for coffee with AggieeCash. Their menu has a variety of options ranging from coffee, hot tea, to cold beverages, and even grab-and-go food. I love the Chocolate and Caramel Swirl Javiva here. Highly recommended.

Good service, great latte. Ambiance was nice in the morning but busy later in the day. Little pricy but nice for a pick me up!

The staff was very friendly, the coffee was great, and the croissant was delicious. The atmosphere is also really nice. Since it's located on a university campus, there are a lot of busy students around, but it doesn't take away from the experience at all, you can still relax and enjoy your coffee and food. Make sure to leave a tip at places like this, the service is excellent, and even something small like 50 cents is appreciated. Thanks, Temple Roasted Coffee!

I won't go into the reasons why, but I wound up forgetting to order my coffee decaffeinated. I wound up ordering a Mexican mocha with almond milk and light whip. I also ordered a veggie scone. Both the barista and the person working the counter were friendly and nice. I LOVED the Mexican mocha. It wasn't too sweet (which I was worried about), didn't need sugar, but was delicious. It had a nice mix of the robust coffee flavor and the richness of the Mexican chocolate. The scone was good. I liked the mix of veggies and cheese. I think it would have been better if it were heated. This cafe is somewhat small. While there is a good amount of seating, it gets pretty packed in here. I'd say my biggest con of this cafe if you're drinking your coffee there are the seats and the lack of electrical outlets to charge your computer. The bar stools are pretty uncomfortable. I really could only sit the stool for about an hour. Since the stools didn't have a backrest, I started getting sore. I'd definitely get coffee here again.

As a self acclaimed coffee "snob" in-training it was a huge plus to see them roasting their own beans. I knew the coffee was gonna be good. I got the vanilla lavender earl grey cold foam latte which was a seasonal drink and it was very good. I also got a savory breakfast croissant which I gobbled down before I could take a picture. They had plenty of seating areas so great for students to study or just a place to catch up with friends. Will be back to try a hot coffee next time.

Also, the hojicha latte was perfect and the amount of sweetener was also perfect for me. I love that they let you customize it to your liking. I'm excited to come back and try their other drinks (although the hojicha was so good I also need it again)! And it's such a convenient location - right by UCD campus.

We walked into a clean, welcoming interior with plenty of natural light and different seating options, making it a comfortable spot whether we were stopping by for a quick coffee or staying for a longer work session. The amount of seating and outlets makes it feel more like a true café space rather than just a grab-and-go coffee shop, and the layout encourages lingering without feeling like we were taking up space. The drinks are what make Frenzy more memorable, especially their specialty lattes with unique flavors. The pandan matcha latte was the highlight, combining the earthy flavor of matcha with the sweet, fragrant notes of pandan in a way that felt balanced rather than overly sugary. It is a fun twist on a classic matcha drink, and the pandan flavor actually comes through instead of getting lost behind the sweetness of the milk. The miso caramel latte is another interesting option, adding a subtle savory element to the caramel that gives the drink a complexity you do not often find at a standard coffee shop. We appreciated that the drinks can be customized for sweetness, since some of the more creative flavors can easily become too sweet at other cafés. The espresso-based drinks also hold up well, making the menu feel approachable whether you prefer traditional coffee or something more experimental. The drinks are well crafted, and the attention to flavor balance across the menu suggests that the baristas know what they are doing. The staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed and easygoing. The space feels thoughtfully designed, with enough variety in seating to accommodate different needs, from cushioned chairs for relaxing to high tables for working. The flow of the cafe stayed comfortable even when more people came in, and the noise level remained manageable, making it a good spot for both conversation and focused work. Frenzy Coffee Co. is the kind of place that works well for studying, catching up with friends, or spending a few hours getting work done. The combination of good drinks, comfortable seating, and a welcoming environment makes it worth returning to explore more of the menu.

I was hoping they had some type of pastry, but alas, nothing except a few prepackaged bars. Once I got my latte, I took a seat. The latte was OK. I ordered a soy pudding and I don't believe there was a sweetness level adjustment option and it was very very sweet. The level of sweetness would be something that younger kids probably enjoy. We also tried a hazelnut Vietnamese coffee which had a very strong coffee flavor but was also very very sweet. We couldn't finish our drinks but if you're somebody with a major sweet tooth, you would enjoy it here.
