Oh my goodness! I've enjoyed breakfast here before but today was the first time I went for lunch. To say it exceeded expectations wouldn't even come close. It couldn't have been more perfect. It's always immaculate and looks brand new. Plenty of seating and we had out drinks in under 2 minutes. The food was perfectly prepared and our server was attentive without hovering. We have wanted to try this place since they opened but wanted to wait for some of the opening kinks to get worked out first. We decided to go there for breakfast this morning after church. The place was about 75% full around 9:30 this morning. We were seated promptly but we didn't get greeted by our server for at least 5 minutes. We saw a bunch of servers huddled in the corner talking so we found that odd and almost left. Finally our server came and as quickly as she did get our drink order and was going to run, I had to stop her. She could've suggested something on the menu or asked if we had any questions on the menu, but it didn't matter we were ready to order. I ordered the Greek Omelette and he ordered the Apple Compote Crepe with a side of Chicken Sausage. We both have worked in restaurants all of our lives and found it odd that you had to choose between toast or hash browns with an omelette? It's a $18.00 Omelette you think it would come with potatoes and a choice of toast? But anywho, the omelette was very good but the tzatziki sauce tasted like it was just sour cream. The Apples in the compote with the crepe were still hard and not soft like a typical compote. We loved the chicken sausages. Our server did come back to check on us but she never cleared plates, or glasses while she was there. The restaurant looks really nice inside, it's definitely not too loud inside so you can hold a conversation. Will we be back?? It really didn't wow us enough to say definitely. Service is less than average. I never even got a refill on my coffee. The eggs taste like powder eggs. My order was incorrect as well so while my fiancé ate, I waited. The chicken fried steak breakfast was also less than average. Overall, skip this place for breakfast and go somewhere else read more

First ever review, have watched this restaurant since opened to see if would take off or be another establishment on this corner to come and go. Finally went and tried out this morning because hearing the vibe and has been getting more busy as drive by. A great breakfast at a clean and friendly place!! Great portion and great food! My 21 year old son said he will be back next week. My wife had an issue with what she ordered and they were on it and took care of it quick and made her happy! Definitely recommend for a Mesa restaurant! Happy to hear they were working on another location more east mesa, they will need it. read more

Stopped in to enjoy a nice breakfast on a random Wednesday morning. Was seated quickly despite it appearing pretty busy. Nice wide open clean environment. Our server Regina was fast, efficient, very polite, and funny. The menu has quite a few options ranging from pancakes, waffles, burgers, tacos, sandwiches and gyros, and even pancakes tacos - which were pretty good. Both were very good, but after reading up on some of their message, I am looking forward to coming back to try some of the other menu items. From the moment you step in the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The beef bacon is the reason I came and the rest of the food is the reason I keep coming back. The steak is fantastic and definitely not from the grocery store. The meat is treated differently and it shows in the taste. I've had my eyes on this place since they added the front sign. The food was 10/10 authentic , real ( tons of flavor ) huge portions. The only complain I have is that they used Tropicana bottled orange juice , I would recommend simply or fresh squeeze . we ordered a cookie butter waffle. It was probably the most delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life and I do not like sweets. I got a plain pancake. It was delicious. Eggs were great. Omelette was fantastic. Meat was cooked to perfection. server Rho was so kind, attentive, and helpful. This is such a cute location and we will definitely be returning. Oh, not to mention the prices were extremely fair for the portions we received. presentation was lovely ambience of the spot was fantastic. I was super excited to try this place since it is so close to where I live and I went this past weekend to try it out. My friend and I were quoted 25-30 minutes, which wasn't bad for a Sunday brunch so we put my name and number down and waited right out front. About 40 minutes went by, so I decided to go in and check on our status and the host let me know we had been marked as "no show", but I never received a text message letting us know the table was ready (and again, we were right outside and definitely within line of sight of the host stand). I asked if they had possibly put my number down wrong, and she definitely had, so the host let me know he could put me back on the list but they were full and he wasn't sure how long it'd be. I asked to be put back on the list since I really wanted to try the place, and the hostess who originally checked me in walked back up but didn't even attempt to acknowledge me or the situation. Even though I told them exactly what was wrong with the number they'd put down for me (which digit was wrong), I don't believe they even fixed it because i STILL did not get a text the second time around. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere. read more

Best breakfast in the east valley. The quality of their meats is amazing. East valley peeps you have to try this joint. I had sirloin steak and eggs breakfast, my steak was cooked perfect medium rare, I like my hash brown extra crispy and they made them perfectly crisp for me. I recently visited Syrup and Salt and unfortunately did not have a great experience. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted for about five minutes. A family of four came in after me, and the server brought them water without acknowledging me. It wasn't until then that she realized I was were there and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered the "All In" breakfast and chocolate chip pancakes. When the food arrived, it was only warm. I specifically asked for crispy bacon, but it came out burnt. The hash browns were okay, but nothing special. I ordered my egg over hard, but every bite felt like I was biting into an undercooked yolk, and it had a very strong egg taste. The pancakes were honestly the worst part. They were overly cooked, hard, and difficult to cut -- my knife should glide through a pancake, not feel like I'm fighting it. They weren't served with butter, and I wasn't asked if I wanted whipped cream. I didn't request whipped cream, and I feel like that's something that should be confirmed, especially considering possible allergies. After one bite, my appetite was gone. After paying, I asked about switching to buttermilk pancakes, but at that point I just wanted to leave and decided not to pursue it. Overall, the service and food quality were disappointing, and I expected much better. read more

The fresh quality of ingredients is impossible not to notice! I got steak and eggs- the steak was a great size was thicker than other places I've tried, easy to cut and cooked just right. The hash browns tasted fresh, were crispy but not overly oily. Pancakes tasted AMAZING! I've never seen a restaurant so clean, friendly staff (everyone was smiling) . We came here for brunch today an I was so disappointed in the service. Our server was sweet but we barely saw her. The food came out all at different times so we did not really eat as a family. I walked to the bathroom and saw so much food just sitting in the kitchen waiting to be ran out to tables. . I hope they hire some food runners or management better trains the staff. The server could not handle her section. The food was okay but really the service just left us feeling bad about the whole experience. From the moment we walked through the door the wait staff was attentive and helpful. My wife and I take my elderly parents out to new breakfast places every Thursday. We have been tracking and rating each one for our own records. This is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review online. I asked my dad how many stars we should give it. We stopped in and found ourselves doing a little sampling of some of their menu items, beef bacon and chicken sausage are amazing, the beef patty on the cheese burger was so delicious, if you love chicken tenders, these were amazing and gluten free, light and crispy, so good! We met the owners and family, such nice people and very welcoming. This is a welcome change to the options around here. Breakfast was the firsteal here and it was yum! Friend had the chicken spinach crepes - not.a crumb left.on the plate. The gyro omelet was yum also. Portions were huge - had half there and then the other for the next breakfast. It was just as great the next day - use the air fryer for the reheat. The second time - a different friend and we split the wings and a burger. Again, excellent! The beef bacon was very different from what I was expecting. Loved it on the burger but found it to be less satisfying than as a breakfast side. Would try again on another occasion. Give it a try - food is a great unifier!! read more
