Ok, this company is wonderful! We had so much drama with our mortgage company and our closing kept getting moved around, which meant rescheduling our packers. Danielle in the office was so helpful. She took the time to explain everything in detail so that I had no questions at the end of our call. She was patient when we had to reschedule, and friendly throughout the process. Packing day was just as good, with the team (Ben, Lugo, and Michael) calling to give us an ETA, and showing up on time. They were prepared, professional, and their work was neat and efficient. The ONLY hiccup we had was that our estimate was off, and the team would need to return the next day to complete the job. Not a problem for us, and we appreciated that they asked if that was preferred, or if they should keep working into the evening. We actually had somewhere to be that night, so it worked out perfectly. Anyway, Ben took care of all the signing and payment, was professional, and I immediately received an email receipt for services. The next day, Ben, Lugo, and Jose (Michael wasn't available) showed up exactly as scheduled, and they got to work. They finished the job in 30 min LESS time than estimated the previous day. I mean, what more can you ask for when people you don't know are handling and packing your personal property? They didn't break anything, and left all of the boxes labeled and staged nicely for pickup. Problems I encountered with Swift Movers after hiring them to help us move: 1. They showed up 2 hours late with Whataburger in hand 2. Throughout the moving process, their employee repeatedly complained that his knee was injured and he was going to go to the hospital afterwards. Consequently, he did not lift much and moved very slowly, often taking breaks and expressing dissatisfaction that we did not have ice because our fridge was delivered minutes before. 6. This same employee appeared to have no concern for denting furniture or walls in our brand new home 7. The whole move ended up taking a great deal more time than anticipated despite the fact that I was fully prepared due to the late arrival and slow execution of your employees. Yet, I received the surprisingly hefty bill and the end and the poorly performing employee made it clear that he was still hoping for a tip. Following our move, I submitted a claim to recover some of the costs of damage to our furniture, walls, and door hardware. They offered to cover $200 of $1200 worth of damage. read more

I initially spoke with Luis who was very patient and explained the process of using Swift Movers. I had to change my moving date a week out, and Luis was very understanding. On the day of the move, Blaine, Wesley and Jordan showed up promptly within the timeframe I was given. They observed my home and stated it would take around six hours. Greg, Daniel, and Alex were amazingly fast and so nice! They called to confirm the appointment the day before and as well the morning of to inform me that they were on their way. Once they arrived to my apartment, they were extremely professional in getting all the paperwork done and informing me of a few policies. They were able to load up all of my boxes and furniture in an hour and a half. Once at the new apartment, they team worked quickly and efficiently to get my items inside. I selected to go with Swift movers because I used them in the past (back in 2013 and 2014) and I had a positive experience. Although they are double the price as other companies, I still selected them because they advertise they offer above average insurance coverage. This recent move was by far my worst moving experience. Two of my LED smart tvs (75 and 55 inch) were cracked during the move amongst other items. The value of the items that were broken exceeded $5,000. The movers appeared to be moving fast but they were wreck less with my belongings. Additionally, they broke a marble table stand, two lamps, they scratched the tops of my wooden night stands, broke a picture frame and they even tried hiding the broken items in a corner near the closet so I wouldn't be able to see them. We initially only reported the 75inch tv because that is the only item that we noticed was broken. The movers hid the other items behind boxes and furniture so we wouldn't notice the broken items until after they left. Very unfortunate and dreadful experience. Don't use this company, use a more reputable company with higher insurance levels. Although they advertise they offer higher insurance coverage, they don't. This company offers the very minimum insurance coverages which barely covers 10% of damages, if that. read more

Amazing!!! Moving is always stressful, but this move, for a variety of reasons, was by far the worst. The team was an oasis in the desert of awfulness that was this moving process. They were quick, easy, polite, and good at filling up the cubes with our stuff. They unloaded our 1 bedroom apartment (up 3 stories of kind of narrow stairs that aren't easy to navigate with furniture) very quickly, so don't hire any of these other companies that all have complaints about slow movers milking the clock. Swift Movers were great from beginning to end. When booking my move day Luis was thorough and extremely helpful to provide all details needed for my moving experience. Leading up to my moving day, (in the midst of Covid-19) I was worried about being able to still move. Luis reassured me all would work out. On my move day, the guys (Tommy, Clarence and Ebony) showed you on time and ready to work. They did a quick assessment of the what we had to move and got to work wrapping. Not one piece of furniture went into the truck unwrapped. They even wrapped my door frames and ensured no walls were scratched. I had some extremely heavy and bulky furniture as well. They fit all of my furniture and personal items like puzzle pieces into the truck. Upon unload they were attentive to where they needed to place all the items. The guys were also helpful in replacing doors on our fridge and helping to set up our bulky master bed. My overall experience with my move was good, Luis and Greg were nice and helpful during my move. Once everything was in my new house, my boyfriend and I started to put things away and putting things back together and we noticed that some hardware was missing for the bed and for the mirror that attaches to the dresser. My boyfriend reached out to the movers and asked about the hardware to which he said he would give us a call back but we have yet to receive a call. Needless to say, the bed is still on the floor and so is the mirror. I had to knock stars because even though the movers seemed like cool guys they dropped my brand new headboard and scuffed up some of my furniture.
