    Pretty helpful but unfortunately, I had the movers pack up a shipping container for me and wasn't able to stay and watch the entire process of them putting my items into it. When I was in the new city unpacking, I found multiple things broken, chipped, marked up.. and it was clearly a rushed and careless job. I thought the movers were kind and even gave a bunch of stuff away to them.. sad and disappointed to find my items were carelessly thrown into the container and my favorite piece of vintage furniture scuffed and chipped :( Was hopeful. Still appreciate the efforts but maybe just less rushed and careful next time guys. Thanks.

    Don't walk RUN to get these guys to do your move ! Malik,Danilo, and Arron did an absolutely FANTASTIC JOB! This company is very true to their word and affordable! If I could give them 1000 stars I would our closing got delayed and we weren't able to move as much as we wanted to ourselves These guys went above and beyond and got us moved in the time we scheduled. I couldn't have asked for a better team. They were fast and careful with all of our belongings out of the old place and into the new place . Thank you all again for doing such a great job!

    Hank, Wesley, and Jeremiah showed up to move my mom out of her second story apartment and were courteous, respectful, and professional. The took a minute to review everything that was going to be loaded and made a plan for what to take in which order. They wrapped all the furniture and fragile items in blankets and plastic wrap. They loaded and unloaded in just about the time they estimated and left everything clean and exactly where we wanted it. Luis scheduled my appointment for me and was very flexible and helpful when I needed to make changes. The price was reasonable and the team was great. We appreciate their work ethic and the awesome job they did!

    Swift Movers made moving so much easier than I anticipated - from the initial booking, to packing and unloading. Our movers were quick, efficient and really nice and helpful.     From my first phone call & speaking to Danielle I knew I had picked the right movers...I was a hot mess & had a bad feeling about movers I had hired. Danielle was professional, comforting & luckily able to fit me in with a couple days notice! I found out day before move (incompetence management at apartment) that I could not move in till after 4pm & I had scheduled move for 9am Danielle was able to reschedule for 3pm & didn't even act put out. Ben Kenny & Ryan were beyond amazing! I believe my new neighbors got their info cuz they were that good. They had zero attitude when I changed my mind about them taking random stuff, did not charge me or feel the need to take apart my ikea couch that past 2 movers had told me "needed to be disassembled" and charged me additional 1/2 hour or so for same. Thanks guys for being kind to me & my son

    I've used this company twice and the first time was truly a five star experience. This second time was still good and honestly I didn't prep anything before they came to pack and load my stuff. Considering the mess they came into, I was overall pleased with the service. My complaint is that I specifically asked them to pack or wrap all the art work to avoid any damages because some were high sentimental value and a few high monetary value. One of the art pieces of higher monetary value unfortunately had a hole from the move- it had been left unwrapped and shoved between two items. I'm still pretty upset, as it may not be fixable. I feel I should have monitored closely since me being plenty direct did not suffice.

I do…read morewant to start by saying the team was very friendly and accommodating, especially when we ran into unexpected issues with our leasing office not giving us keys when previously agreed. They were patient and worked with us through that situation, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Despite being told multiple times that the truck was "fully loaded," we returned to find several large items still left behind in our garage (see photo). These weren't small or easily manageable things -- they were exactly the type of items you hire movers to handle. At no point was it communicated that anything was being left. That's the biggest issue. If something doesn't fit or can't be taken, that needs to be clearly stated in the moment -- not discovered after the fact when we have already paid ($1100+) no longer have a way to transport it ourselves. What made the situation even more concerning was the complete lack of communication during the move. At one point, we lost track of them entirely (no response for nearly an hour)... as a result my partner ended up having to drive (12 minutes) back to the old apartment to find the truck leaving, then had to follow it for an extended period of time due to genuine concern about where our belongings were going. There were multiple wrong turns, and later the explanation given was that one phone had died and the other was in the back of the truck and couldn't be accessed. All of this happened while they had our garage door opener and full access to our home, which only added to the stress and concern. No customer should be put in a position where they feel they need to monitor movers to ensure their belongings are safe. We understand that moving days can be hectic and things don't always go perfectly, but clear communication and follow-through are the bare minimum -- and both were lacking here. While we appreciate their friendliness and flexibility, the job was not completed as expected, and the lack of transparency left a bad impression. If you use this company, I would strongly recommend confirming in person that everything is actually loaded before they leave. We won't be using them again.

    CUSTOMER PLEASE BEWARE…read more I chose Veterans Best Movers because I'm active duty military and make a point to support veteran-affiliated businesses. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. I worked with Leif (owner/manager--unsure), who asked for photos of my move. I sent photos of my two-bedroom apartment and two small storage units, just like he requested. Based on that, he confidently told me 3 movers and 1 truck were sufficient, estimated ~8 hours, and quoted ~$1,600, saying it could vary depending on time. I even built in a reasonable cushion of +/- $500. That estimate wasn't just off -- it was GROSSLY wrong. About an hour into the move, the crew (who were excellent) asked, "Did they perform a walkthrough?" I said no, because Leif never requested one. They explained that with only three guys, the move would take much longer, likely require another truck or multiple trips, and get significantly more expensive. They told me directly more manpower and another truck should have been planned from the start. That's when it clicked: too small of a team + undersized truck = more trips, more hours, and a much higher bill. The move ended up requiring 2 additional movers and a second truck, took over 12 hours, and cost me OVER $3,200 -- DOUBLE the quote. That's not a small overage, that's complete incompetence in estimating. If you're quoting off photos, do it correctly. If you can't, require a walkthrough. That responsibility is on the company, not the customer. It gets worse. The crew told me a lamp shattered because it was left at the back of the truck and blown off by wind. They said someone would follow up. No one did... I had to call. When Leif finally contacted me, he immediately assumed it was due to my "packing" without even knowing what happened. He didn't ask. He didn't verify. He just blamed me. That was Leif's pattern -- zero ownership, zero accountability. Even after I explained his own crew told me exactly how it broke, he refused responsibility. He offered $40 (later $60) for a lamp worth several hundred dollars and part of a matching set, and said he "wouldn't have offered anything if the worker hadn't mentioned it," claiming they "don't cover items they don't pack" - despite not even knowing how it broke and that it was clearly due to how it was handled. At one point he said, "I'm not trying to be shady," which is ironic because that's exactly how this conversation felt -- shady and deflective. The workers were honest and professional, but if management operates like this, that's a serious issue. He also tried to lecture me on depreciation, which was completely irrelevant. When I addressed the grossly inaccurate quote, he first said, "well you had a lot of stuff." I reminded him he knew exactly what I had because I sent photos he requested. He then said "well, you were hard to get a hold of." Completely unrelated and honestly a pathetic pivot. He grossly under-quoted, sent too small of a team, and refused to admit it, costing me double, while trying to blame me. He ended the call with "it looks like we won't see eye to eye on this." To be clear: the crew was outstanding. This failure is entirely management. I'm leaving this so people know what they may experience: - Grossly inaccurate estimates - Major cost overruns - Damage not handled properly - Management that deflects blame and take zero accountability. If you use this company, demand a WALKTHROUGH and get everything in writing. Otherwise, expect serious risk.

Placed a quote request on Yelp and was bombarded with responses. A lot of the companies requested more information; some didn't respond. Spoke to one guy who said he would send a quote and never did. Richard Bailey gets 10 stars for price, communication; recognizing the sense of urgency and the crew he hired to complete my move. He actually texted me right away; then we spoke briefly. Based on the conversation he gave me a verbal quote and booked my move for the next afternoon. His crew showed up on time. We're very professional; had great personalities and got me moved in two and a half hours. Nothing was broken either. Assembled my washer and dryer too. One of the crew members even gave me decorative advice as I moved from a 2300 sq. ft. house to a 1300 sq. ft. apartment and my couch didn't initially look right where I thought it should be! Fabulous company. Absolutely recommend them.

They used 3 movers and we moved from a 3rd floor apartment to a one story house and then moved items to a storage unit. These guys hustled, wrapped everything, and got things done. Everything done within 4 hours. Minus the late start(started roughly 930) we were done right about 4 hours. Highly highly recommend them. Would definitely use them again for our next move. Price and work was unmatched

Facts: I came to my unit November 6th to acquire winter clothing only to discover my unit had been burglarized and vandalized. The office personnel were not on the property, but I reached an individual the next day by the name of Samantha (Since terminated), who informed me that my unit was discovered without a lock on November 1st. She explained that someone had attempted to contact me [A lie- I have had no missed calls, voicemails or emails on the matter.] and promised to review the camera footage and compile the applicable paperwork for me then she would call me back. I never received that call. I returned a week later and was given keys to the replacement lock the property provided, along with the paperwork. (I've been very busy and unable to wait the now hour plus I've been waiting for an officer to be dispatched to place my report.) I returned December 4th and used that very key I was provided by the property to unlock the lock the property had provided only to discover my unit had been burglarized yet again!!! Two new office employees were available, one from a different location and one in training. They informed me that all the previous staff had been terminated, that they do not know how to access the camera footage and that they have been getting yelled at and confronted by other disgruntled renters who also have had their units broken into. While here today, speaking with yet another employee as I await an officer to submit my police report. I am being told that there have been no other reports of burglary recently at this location. Literally, as we were discussing this, another gentleman comes in and expressed his very recent experience of having his unit burglarized. Just facts....Take it for what it is worth. Awfully suspect to me. This is not the least expensive storage in the area...and most certainly not the most secure. Do your research. This property should not be one you consider.
