Mr. Brandon and his team member C.J were an absolute pleasure to work with. My sister had initially called him and he quoted her, and I thought I could get a better deal, and I almost got her into the financial bind she was in about three months ago with moving. I got a quote from AAA Discount Movers and it was the same price as Mr.Brandon but it was a better deal with Brandon because they were willing to move everything she had quoted for one full price. They were super fast and careful not to bump into the wall or door with the padding provided for that specific usage. My sister stated that she had never saw any movers do that before so that was a huge plus. I was just happy that they were able to move her things within three hours and quote her a better price than he did over the phone. If I would have known about him prior to leaving a full three bedroom apartment full of things in Missouri to be discarded, I would have paid him to come there to help me sort my things out, as he stated that he is willing to travel. I had never used movers before and wasn't moving an exceptional amount of stuff, but Brandon and Kendall (I think that was his name!) were great. Brandon was communicative during the booking process and the day before, letting me know an expected ETA. I was in the afternoon slot and knew there was likely a bit of variability to when they'd arrive. The ETA ended up being quite a bit later than expected, but Brandon filled me in and let me know the prior client had way more stuff than previously disclosed. Nonetheless, they arrived and got started ASAP. They took a lot of care with my items, wrapping tabletops and wooden furniture in blankets and plastic before adding them to the truck. Loading took maybe 30-45 minutes, they were super speedy and friendly! Unloading took slightly longer as they had two sets of stairs to contend with, but in total, they got me packed and unpacked in 1:45. They were generous about asking where to place things. This was our first time moving with movers and I will ABSOLUTELY be referring and using Meticulous Movers again! We did a 4 in a half hour move for $1,200. A paid deposit to secure my spot weeks in advance ($175) (The most reasonable for distance, I did call other places and was being quoted $1,700+) Brandon & Cj were very impressive with their moving skills, they asked us where we wanted things before putting them just anywhere. They wrapped furniture and other delicate belongings as well. Trip: First we had him and his team go to our storage and then the place we were living and then our new residence. Total trip was 37 miles, for $1,200. This was VERY WORTH IT considering the distance we went. I did tip extra! These guys were great. They arrived on time and work consistently to get the job done quickly without sacrificing care. Glass tables, TVs, and all my other items made in to the location in a timely manner without any damage. Their hourly rate is about $50 less than most movers, which I attribute them being young people starting out and wanting to grow their business.
