Used this company to move twice and both times they have absolutely knocked it out of the park. I did a local move and a 300 mile move and both times they were responsive, professional and prices were better than bigger companies so seriously no reason to go anywhere else this guys are for sure the team you want. Zero stress for real. read more

Local move! Well done. Hard workers. Nothing broken. I would highly recommend and use them again!

You will not find a more conscientious, courteous fast and keep their word type of moving service other than this company. This is the best I've had in San Antonio and I've moved about five times due to Rentals and other things and moving up. They really did an excellent job. I'm very grateful for them. read more

Professional and efficient would recommend for your moving needs. Workers communicate well and follow directions to the note.

A great moving experience with this small but mighty team! John and Arthur finished my move-in in under 4hrs and we were moving items from two locations into one apartment. I was impressed by the amount of equipment they came prepared with and how fast they grabbed all my items. Even with a 2nd floor move, they carried all our big items into our place on a hot, Texas afternoon. I really appreciate these guys for making moving our furniture the least stressful part of moving to a new place. They were nice, and felt trustworthy with all our items. Pricing wise, they cost less than competitors in the area and didn't charge extra for any travel fees. I would definitely use them again for moves in the future. read more

They were on time, efficient and friendly, and they padded furnishings very well. We will call on them again if needed.

Boxed moving was fantastic. I ordered for hour of service for a local move (gift for a friend) and they were friendly, helpful, and did a great job. They really are everything for one fixed hourly rate - no extra surprise fees. It's so easy with their email payment system. They also made it really easy when my friend requested an additional hour and they just charged me for my planned 4 hours and my friend for one extra. Highly recommend. read more

Boxed Moving Company is one of the best in the city . They are quick to respond and set up the job within your timeframe . Very professional and reliable . Most importantly, they are willing to work with you . I will definitely use them again in the future . Thanks John and Quentin for your help with my move ! read more

Last week, I purchased an item on Facebook Marketplace. Unfortunately, the item had to be picked up in Pleasanton, Texas, about an hour's drive from my home in San Antonio. I began making phone calls to see if I could find a moving company that would drive to Pleasanton and pick up the item. I hoped that the cost would not be prohibitive. I called 2 businesses, and no one even answered their phones! This was the third business I called and actually spoke to real person!!!! John was polite and asked for pictures of the item and the seller's address, etc. He told me that he would call me back. Not only did John call me back shortly but gave me a price that I thought was very reasonable. He asked if Saturday was agreeable, and I confirmed. John and Quentin delivered the bulky item and even set it up where we wanted on the patio. Mary, a very nice woman, who works in the office, contacted me and confirmed details regarding the delivery. I was very pleased with everything! They are both very pleasant and easy to work with. I can very happily recommend these gentlemen and this company. Thank you to Boxed Moving Services! read more

We used Boxed for our local move back in 2019. They were incredibly responsive, and gave pricing options to help us determine which would best suit our needs. Once we decided on pricing, they kept in touch up until move day, showed up on time, and came in under budget. No items were damaged, and the guys were very professional and courteous. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thanks again. We're looking forward to using y'all for our next move! read more

Great team! I got a last minute appointment that did not disappoint. The price was also great! Thank you.

John was quick to reply hence their 100% response rate under 10 mins. However, John did not respond back to me. I gave John 3 days to respond back, but he didn't. I can only imagine the type of service you will receive if you've successfully booked with them. read more

Boxed Moving Services - Movers Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

This was the best moving experience I've ever had. John was incredible at communicating with me throughout the entire process. John and Art wee some of the kindest and most courteous people I've ever met. They were quick, had a great attitude, and took extra care of all of our items. Will definitely be using their moving service again! read more

The Boxed Moving services team was very kind, had a great attitude and were very professional all throughout the move. John responded to all my questions very promptly and had great communication. I am a big fan of Boxed Moving Services! They are so nice, quick, and fair priced! I couldn't recommend them enough.

Without a single doubt, the best moving service I've ever used. I waited several weeks after the move to write this review, so I could have a full accountability of any damages or missing items. Nothing damaged, nothing missing! That's a first for any mover! I was saddened to find that Boxed Moving has so few reviews on Yelp, but apparently they are getting reviews that are "too good to be true" and Yelp is blocking the reviews from posting! When you are getting such overwhelmingly positive reviews that Yelp blocks the reviews... thats a pretty amazing problem to have. (Frustrating, but also very informative at how good they are.) The Price: Amazing, I went to 4 other moving companies on Yelp and was quoted 3x the price for packing and moving. Boxed Moving packed and moved me in less time and for a fraction of the money... with nothing missing or damaged! They honestly could charge twice as much and I would have happily paid. read more

They were on time, friendly, respectful of my stuff, and priced fairly. I will use them again next time I move

I used Boxed Moving Services a few weeks ago to handle a small move of mine. I utilized Yelp's quote service and found Boxed's quote to be the most affordable. I appreciated that they didn't have any hidden fees outside of the rate. I booked the move pretty easily. The day of the move went great. I was not there, but my roommate oversaw everything. It was a slightly complicated move because I needed them to pick up items from multiple locations. They did so fast and efficiently; my roommate who used a different moving service was shocked by their speed in comparison to the other company. They didn't even have to disassemble some of the items that I thought they'd need to. They do have a promise though to reassemble anything that is disassembled, which I appreciated. The workers were friendly and quite professional. I found no issues or scratches on my items. I would use Boxed if I choose to move again! read more

My review is a little late because of the out of state transition. But, I didn't want to go too long without telling the world about how great Boxed Moving Services is! I work at UTSA and everyone in my office uses them, that's how I was referred. Everyone raved about the service they were provided from the company I've used them not once but twice. Both times I used them they were prompt, careful, courteous and very efficient. I'm still impressed with how they were able to fit all my belongings into a 16ft boxed truck. I was really worried that we wouldn't be able to and I would need to leave furniture behind. But they put all my fears to rest and assured me that they could do the job. And they did! They work really hard and really fast. Cherry on Top: Both gentlemen were very handsome so that's a bonus! I definitely recommend Boxed Moving Services to friends and wouldn't hesitate to again! read more

We recently used Boxed moving from Cibolo to the Alamo Ranch area. It's always hard to choose a good moving company. I was very impressed with this company's response time to questions asked. I was contacted the day before the move just to confirm. Day of move they showed up and were very professional. They never made the move rushed, placed furniture where we asked, and were very efficient. I would definitely recommend this moving company to anyone needing to get moved. Thanks again Boxed Moving Company! read more

Two guys who worked really hard to get me moved!!! They did a really great job, and took great care of my furniture. I definitely recommend Boxed if you are in need of movers! read more

They were amazing in helping us move from our old apartment. Both my husband and I work full time and at the time we were moving we had a lot going on. They quoted a really reasonable cost for packing all of our belongings and moving them to our new place. We also saved a lot of money that we would have needed to spend on renting a van, hiring people to move the heavy furniture, buying boxes. I definitely recommend this company. Plus, you'll be supporting a locally owned business. read more

Boxed Moving Services are the best! Being a military brat I've moved all my life. Over the past couple years I've opted to do my own packing because I've dreaded having to deal with movers. Boxed Moving Services offered great rates and the flexibility I needed. If you need hassle free help moving choose them. read more

They have done several moves for me the latest was yesterday moving my mom into assisted living. The movers were beyond respectful and courteous to our family and our property. They were very efficient and didn't waste time. Upon arrival at the assisted living home, they were so mindful of the other tenants as they moved my moms stuff into her apartment. The ensured they had everything in the apartment as my mom wanted it and continued to ask if there was anything else they could do. Great job gents!! read more

5 stars is not enough!! Boxed Moving Services is AMAZING!!! I've moved twice in the last five years and I did not use a moving service, if only I knew then what I know now. I was such a fool! I was really dreading this move. I unfortunately procrastinated a little too long and I put myself in a bind. I was so stressed about how I was going to get everything done in time. I called two other businesses first and I was left feeling discouraged, I was going to give up on trying a service. I decided to try calling one more place and boy am I glad I did!! As soon as I talked to John on the phone I felt like a weight was lifted! He was so polite and straight forward and he asked all the right questions, he really made me feel like he understood my problem and he wanted to help. These guys were prompt and peppy. Their confidence, competence, and pride was radiant. I couldn't believe the amount of care they put into handling my belongings. I don't even handle my stuff that gently. They put just as much care into handling a $10 accent table as they did handling my family heirlooms. My apartment has narrow door frames and they padded everything to make sure nothing was damaged. I didn't even know padding door frames was a thing!! They took apart and reassembled my bed frame. They even dropped off some stuff at the Salvation Army for me. It took about an hour and a half longer than I was originally quoted due to the weather and construction in my area, I felt bad and almost begged John to charge me for the additional time but he assured me he always goes with the original price. I really really wish there were more people like John and his team in this world, too often do we encounter inattentive and neglectful service. The integrity these guys have is refreshing and inspiring. I can go on forever, these guys were simply fantastic!! Im telling EVERYONE!! read more

John was very polite and kept me informed and even when I had totally messed up the date I was supposed to move they tried their best accommodate me! I really appreciate them! read more

Excellent...excellent company to use for moving! You always worry a little about having people move your stuff because nobody treats your furniture as well as you do. Wrong! These guys were fantastic. They took every precaution necessary to move and pack our items. They were so meticulous, avoiding contact with door frames, walls and many other challenging obstacles (and we had some plenty in our house), ensuring the safety of our furniture and home. And to impress my husband takes a lot...he could not stop raving about this team of two. We could go on and on...but a couple of last words. Professional, sincere, respectful, patient, friendly, and just overall awesome. I recommend this company 110%. read more

This moving company is amazing. The customer service is really great and the movers are so helpful, responsible and really careful with all my stuff. Definitely the best service in town. read more

This company is what all moving companies should strive to be. As a military retiree, I have moved many times. This was by far the best experience. I called rather last minute and asked them to move my daughter from Austin to San Antonio - to a 3rd floor apartment! They arrived promptly when they said they would, were very honest and fair about pricing, working as efficiently as possible in order to save me the most money, and they did a great job. They are very professional and friendly. I am definitely using them again on my next move. read more

These young men are extremely pleasant to work with. They were patient with me and reassured me things would go smoothly getting my furniture into my new house. This moving company is great. I called them up last minute to help with a move out of a storage unit and they were more than happy to help. They arrived on time and promptly got to work. After reading reviews of other moving companies, I was a little worried, but John and Kevin worked quickly and carefully. When everything was done, we had all our stuff moved and in the condition it started in. Price was by the hour and calculated correctly right there. Thanks for the help. May God bless you and your business. read more
