To say these guys were amazing is an understatement at worst! They showed up early like I'm always used to people showing up late so I thought I had time to spare, prompt as ever. I kinda had a difficult time keeping pace with their efficiency for packing and my packing late. They were very understanding. I had two piles going to separate places and they politely asked if they remembered correctly, which was more amazing, weren't annoyed that I was running a bit late. I was worried I didnt tip them enough! There was quite a lot of things that piled up. Lol but they got it done in two hours. Super professional to wrapping the important items, I'm pretty sure they saw everything (from plushies to delicates) and did not making fun or anything. Super amazing! I was referred by a friend of a friend, "who said they were great for the price." I was expecting like people who threw items in the truck and was already prepared to pay for damages. Lol but even when I accidentally stepped on something covered and heard a crack I was like fuck my life, it wasnt cracked or anything, these guys are magicians! Again for me to say they were pretty spectacular is an understatement! They exceeded that. Idk how they got less than 5 stars from anyone. I try not to use the word spectacular cause it sounds forced but words cant comprehend how great these guys were. I'm referring them to all my San Antonio friends and family! I had called around to several different companies before finding Boxed Moving Services. It seemed most people I spoke to were not very professional. The young woman who answered the call was very helpful, considering I had never hired a moving company in the past, but I'm getting too old to be moving on my own now. I requested a " guaranteed quote", they sent a young man over (I believe the owner) right away. He quoted me what I believe to be a more than fair price, then we selected a date to be moved on. The date was nearing and I received a call from Boxed reminding me of the move for the following day which was very thoughtful. The two men I requested showed up on time and dressed very professional looking ready to work. like most reviews ive seen they did work fast and carefully. We were completely moved out and then into our new place in no time. My wife is a very picky person haha but they did not seem to mind. They just kept smiling and working. These are the hardest working and most professional lovers I have ever encountered. They said they would be there at 8am, on Memorial Day weekend not to mention, and literally as the clock struck 8am I heard on knock on my door! They were wide awake, had an optimal plan of action due to previewing my apt and providing a free guaranteed quote! These two young well mannered fellows took care of business. Within a couple hours my 800sq ft apt was loaded up and headed to my new destination. They barely took a water break then unloaded my delicate items carefully, followed by the bigger more durable ones. The best and most surpring perk of their service was the way they organized the boxes into my new apt. I've dealt with movers who just drop it in the garage or wherever and move on. The "Boxed" movers actually took ownership and brought it up to the second floor strategically placed my boxes in a neutral easy to access area.. I started off with requesting their quote option. They Sent someone out within a couple hours of me calling. I had a quote by that afternoon. The price seemed a bit high but the guy who gave me the quote seemed really honest. I called them back that afternoon after i decided to go with them and we set up a date. They showed up on time the day of the move. The two man crew was well dressed and looked ready to work. The move took them around 7 hours. The quote John gave ended up being less than what it would have been hourly. Just like he promised the price did not change even though it took longer than expected. These guys took their time and made sure everything was just how i wanted it. My wife asked them to re arrange the living room three times. They did it with smiles even though it was a quoted job. I found one of their magnets on my apartment door and decided to give them a shot. I'm sure glad i did. They arrived on time and dressed well. Both young men were easy going and fun to be around. They put me at ease during the entire move. And I must admit it was a rather large move. I hated to ask them to help me move a large couch to the dumpster but without hesitation they did it with smiles. You don't find service like this many places anymore. They moved all my belongings into my new house and re assembled all of my beds. They even hung up a large picture that I couldn't hang by myself. On top of that they reminded me that with the magnet i get ten percent off the move. Very honest men. These guys did a really amazing job. My experience with Boxed Moving Services was phenomenal. I hired them to load a uPack truck as I'm moving out of state. Communication beforehand was excellent, they showed up on time, they were courteous and personable, they were careful with my stuff and my house, they maximized the use of space in the trailer, and they completed the job efficiently. It took three hours of heavy lifting (my load included more than 40 boxes of books), and in that time I didn't see them take more than brief water break. I set a timer when they arrived and started the job. When they were done, John underestimated how long they'd been working, so I corrected him to make sure they got paid what they'd earned. I have used this company twice and will use them again in the future. The first time was because I could t find another company and they were glad to move me. I had never heard of them before so I had some reservations. I'm so glad I stumbled on these guys. The second time I used them was a no brainier. They moved a three bedroom apartment into another apartment in 4 hours. Extremely fast yet careful with my belongings. Boxed help me with my 2 bedroom apartment move last month. They were friendly, professional, and quick. Our service was pay by the hour, and unlike most hourly services, they did not drag on and try to milk the time. They were so quick!! Two team members moved our two bedroom apartment out of one complex and into another complex, helped us set up furniture, and moved all of our boxes and items in to each room and did this all in under 3 hours. I cannot say enough how great this company is. Not only are they quick and friendly, they are very affordable. They don't charge crazy high prices but do offer very high quality services. These guys were fantastic. They took every precaution necessary to move and pack our items. I hired these guys very last minute after another company back out the day of the move. When the guys got off the truck I thought to myself for a second there is no way these two are going to handle all this stuff, they looked like they belonged in an office job. I called these guys last second. it was actually right before Christmas. I figured any company that would come out would tax me for being last second and also right before the holiday. to my surprise they did not. The two gentleman came out and moved my 2 bedroom apartment across town in a really reasonable amount of time. They charged hourly and also moved really quick. they did not milk the clock. These guys were amazing we finally closed on our house and wanted to get in, our storage unit was a disaster due to previous movers doing a half assed job. These guys organized it and loaded a 15x30 storage unit in 2 hours and unloaded in a little over 2 amazing work....they were great squeezed us in at the end of thier day and it was late when we were done... they called me every soon often to let us know where they were and how long.
