Not only are they the most affordable movers but they work really hard and take care of all your belongings. They've always showed up on time with 3 movers who are all very polite and respectful. They come prepared with everything you need to move. Our last move was over 80 miles away and I was so grateful when they said they would accept our out of town move. This company is not closed. I used this company because they were recommended to me by a relative that had a good experience using them. I had a great experience also. I spoke with Troy on the phone about setting up an appointment. He communicated well and we were easily able to setup up a good time for pickup and delivery. He also gave a courtesy call a day or two ahead of the appointment as a reminder. The crew arrived on time and were respectable. (Henry, Vincent and Josh) They all introduced themselves and walked through the house with me so that they could all get a good understanding of what all needed to be moved and the best methods for getting various items on the truck. They moved quickly but not recklessly. This was appreciated as I was paying by the hour. I liked that they used "shrink wrap" on a lot furniture items with doors and drawers. I did not notice any damaged caused by them. They appeared to always be mindful how how they moved items through the house and up stairs. I would use again. read more

They were SO easy to schedule and very accommodating. I ended up having to push my move a day later and, thankfully, they were able to do it. The three guys showed up on schedule and were ready to go. They use a 26' truck and bring shrink wrap, many moving blankets, utility dollies, furniture dollies, and straps to secure items. They took my furniture apart and put it all back together. They treated all my stuff like it was their own and I really appreciated that. My main concerned was having items broken or walls damaged. They were very careful. I was very impressed with how hard and steady they worked! I highly recommend this moving company!!! They are reasonably priced too. read more

This business has not closed as they are answering the phone at the posted number. They may not be at the posted address. Recently I helped a good friend with a move from San Antonio to Austin by opening his storage unit for pick up and his home for delivery. Once in Austin and engaged in discussing furniture placement I mentioned that there was only one bedroom upstairs requiring furniture and that I'd be happy to help assemble the king bed. "We don't assemble," was their response. Thinking the contract had been negotiated on price and services I thought nothing of it. However, when my good friend the client got home he was surprised - in a bad way - that his home wasn't ready. Apparently he had stated specifically that assembling was part of the contracted services. When the owner was contacted to inquire why the discussed services were not provided there was some song & dance which further left a bad taste. DON'T USE THESE GUYS, you'll be sorry you did. read more

If anyone needs movers I recommend A-Affordable. Wow they were super fast, cheap, professional, friendly and did not take 1 break at all. Done in less than an hour. Completely different than the last movers I had which took half a day, took breaks every time they carried something and complaint that my furniture was too heavy . Fast, well equipped and efficient, very reasonable prices.

After we had some remodeling done, we had to get our large 4 door fridge moved back inside. I did not want to scratch up new hardwood floors. So thought I would get a mover to do it. My brother told me about Troy and his group. He showed up on time and got it done in a timely manner. Price was better than I expected also. I had a great experience working with Troy, Able, and Rocky during my move. They communicated with me in advance their schedule and arrived with all the tools they needed. Rocky and Able were quick and careful with my belongings and had me moved in no time! I would definitely call them again if needed. Horrible service!!!! We had the worst service today. Me and my sisters decided to get this company to help move my elderly mother who is partially disabled. Two gentlemen showed up exactly at the time they said which was the only good thing. I then explain to the guys what all they would be moving I even asked the guy will it fit in your truck he said "it will probably take two trips" which it was only one dining room table two mattress sets 2 dressers a night stand and a chest. Well they asked how they could take the leaf from the center of the table. We showed them then one of the gentlemen walked outside as the other stayed inside and he then told my mom they had to get tools and they both left never to return. So my mom called the number and when the guy answered he hung up on my mom. My sister called as well and they hung up on her too. So not only did they not return but Leaving me and my sisters to move all this heavy furniture alone we hired this company to do a job and for them not to even return shows what kind of crappy customer service this company provides. I am in customer service and I would like to speak to the owner of this company and let him or her know that bad customer service is not something you would want for a company because then word gets around and you will have no business.
