One of the movers was disrespectful and lazy. I had to confront him and tell him that I noticed he wasn't doing much and was actively wasting time. I had to ask him to do his job which was uncomfortable. The company convinced me that I needed 3 movers, however, only 2 of them actually did work so I paid for the 3rd for no reason. They damaged my furniture. Honestly a terrible experience and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We hired him to move us from Boerne several months ago and the whole experience was a disaster! We had to move our things into storage units before we were able to move into our new home. We hired Boerne's Strongest Movers to pack our home into several storage units. He double booked us while "packing" the house, so he was not present as he said he would be. And his "crew" consisting of 2 well meaning but totally untrained and unprepared young ladies who succeeded in packing everything so poorly, the damage was unimaginable, broken pieces everywhere. Then his moving crew who could not legally drive the rented UHaul trucks and trailers that he rents (he does not own his own trucks), proceeded to throw our things into the trucks, then into the storage units in such a haphazard fashion, we had to undergo more breakage there. And that, on the things that made the trip, multiple items did not even show up at the new location, most notably 2 twin box spring foundations, kitchen knives, silverware, cutting boards, baking pans, children's outdoor play equipment, antique stand, and other personal items. So use him at your own risk! If you have anything of real value, it is in real danger!

All-in-all the packers and movers were very nice. They worked quickly as well. When we were…read moresurveyed we were told that it would take 6-8hrs to pack one one day , 6-8hrs to move on the second day, and that they would need two trucks. We told them it would be less because we were going to be doing some of the move ourselves which we did do. In addition, we asked if it was okay to leave things in some of the armoire and dresser drawers but just tape it up. We did this when we did a DIY move from another state to here. We were told yes. We also had newer boxes that had been donated to us to help cut the cost. On the day of packing, the packers told us we were "taking hours from them" because we had moved so much stuff ourselves. We also showed them the boxes they could use. We were told they would use some of them. However, the larger wardrobe boxes were not used so we had to pay for them. The lead packer said she felt the dressers would be too heavy for the movers if we left stuff in there. On the bottom was glass so I understand why she packed that. I said okay you can empty one of the TV stands since there was a lot of stuff in there. However, when they were done they also emptied two of the armoire drawers, which was not organized and had junk in it. Had I known I would have packed those myself. By doing so, they mistakenly packed our spare car keys even though she insisted "we don't pack keys". Well they unfortunately packed the spare car keys which I was able to find that day by unwrapping boxes to find them. On the day of the move, they did bring two trucks so they would not have to lose time going back and forth to the apartment twice. We had told them they would not need two. However, to justify it they put some stuff in the second truck. I think (I could be wrong) they were trying to make up some of the money they could have made had we not moved some things ourselves. I could not find some things (this is normal) but in one of the boxes, I found they packed my workout sneakers and my stationary bike shoes (in the shoe boxes) with stuff from under the kitchen sink and two small frying pans. I think this is inappropriate. We are still unpacking so I am not sure what else I will find like this. I do take some responsibility for not being organized but it did cost more than we hoped since we moved some things ourselves. Were they professional -yes, were they quick - yes. I should have been more organized as well. I do wish they had used more of our newer boxes than their own materials to help cut the cost. I do recommend them but make sure you are organized and are able to watch as much as possible to see where they are putting things.

During the move, their crew wrapped and transported my 55-inch Samsung television, which was fully functional prior to the move. After unwrapping and powering it on at my new residence, I discovered severe panel damage, including cracking and vertical line distortion, ruining the TV. We observed the crew drop a plastic box containing personal belongings and drop our mattress, demonstrating careless handling practices. I booked the Basic Move option and was informed verbally that damage claims are considered on a case-by-case basis. Despite this, my claim for replacement value was formally denied, citing lack of a specialty TV box and basic coverage. Attached are photos of the damaged television. Sharing my negative experience so others know what to expect.

Then they delivered what we needed to our house. They arrived exactly on time and all of them worked very hard. All three were extremely kind and patient--we had to open several boxes to see what was inside since our previous movers did not label them properly. One thing that stood out was the excellent teamwork among the three guys. Highly recommended and we plan to hire them again when our house renovation is complete and we can move everything else in.

So I was surprised to receive an email saying my date was changed to the unconfirmed date I asked about and my original date now being gone. I asked for a refund on the deposit as it was not a mistake on my end that the date changed and he said it was non-refundable. Your mileage may vary with the company.

Our mover from Illinois recommended we try Little Guys Movers to help recycle the cardboard and paper. They were prompt, courteous, and helpful.
