You can't miss the bright orange building--and as someone whose favorite color is orange, it definitely caught my attention! My cousin and I stopped by to check out what a 5x5 unit looked like and whether it would fit my belongings. Tarryn, the property manager, warmly welcomed us and patiently answered all of our questions while showing us an available unit. He never made us feel rushed and was incredibly helpful. Fast forward to today, when it was final time to move some of my things--especially my bulky winter clothes--I came back and decided to rent out a unit. The $1 first month's rent promotion was too good to pass up, and I was pleasantly surprised that the first month's insurance was also included at no extra cost. After that, you have the option of continuing with their insurance or using your own, which I really appreciated. The biggest reason I chose this location, though, was Tarryn. His customer service is truly exceptional. What impressed me even more was that he actually remembered my cousin and me from our visit over a month ago. He had the same positive attitude and enthusiasm, and he took the time to explain different rental options that could help me save even more if I planned to keep the unit long-term. The facility is still very clean and well maintained. One thing to note is that there are no elevators to access the second floor, so if you'll be storing heavier items, you may want to consider renting a ground-floor unit. Fortunately, the ground-floor units are still reasonably priced. Overall, I highly recommend this Public Storage location. Tarryn's outstanding customer service alone deserved five stars, and the facility is clean, convenient, and easy access from the surrounding area. One small note to Yelp: the address appears to be listed incorrectly. It should be 738 W Loop 1604 N instead of 730 W Loop 1694 N. It's a minor issue, but updating it would mae the location easier for new customers to find.

I signed up online as this place looked perfect on paper, chose the next shown available day to move in, drove over only to find they were closed Sunday, despite showing they weren't on Apple maps. Fine, so I go back the next day. Well past opening, no one is there besides other people needing to get in their new units. Come back an hour later, still nothing. Call the main office for help, they try to help me in but let me know you need someone in person so they try and get in touch with the manager and tell me I should hear back within an hour. The whole day goes by, meanwhile I still had to move my stuff and had already rented a van to do so, so opted for another place down the road. They ended up leaving a voicemail, I show up an hour before they closed and still waited outside a locked door for 50 minutes. Abby helped me and let me know I could get everything refunded and should hear back within a week. A few weeks go by, as I have a life and things get busy. I email to create a paper trail and was able to talk to Renee then Brian who let me know the management was shifting but let me know I should get refunded within 1-2 weeks after verifying my information. It's now been 2 MONTHS since hearing back, and I've sent many follow up emails as I will not trust a verbal confirmation at this point. They also have at least 4 different numbers listed?? Please, new management if you see this, I sent another email today.

They have known for 6 months and did not take the needed measures to protect the rest of the customers belongings. Trash piles up indoors and by the dumpster. The restrooms are disgusting most days. Lights on the buildings work occasionally. They want your money but care nothing about their customers or their belongings! They don't have a permanent manager right now and this will be the 3rd manager in less than a year. Do not store here if you wish to keep your belongings safe!

The location of this storage is great for those who live in downtown and it has a very quick access to the highway, which I think is convenient. The buildings are pretty well air conditioner, and the elevators are spacious. Overall, they keep the buildings pretty clean and staff working there has always been helpful. However, one of the main reasons why they are getting on my nerves is their constant annual price increase. I've been a customer for almost 6 years, and I am now paying almost double the amount from when I started which seems ridiculous. The ongoing increments just feel more like a way to kick you out, than actually keeping you as a customer. Anyhow! Besides the insane prices I currently pay, as of lately I've seen a lot of issues with either the gate not working, the door to access the building not working, no cars to move stuff anywhere to be found. Overall, if you are looking for a storage for just a couple of months I think this place is for you. But if you are looking for a "long term" type of storage, beware of their rates and price increases!

What immediately stood out was how clear and transparent their pricing is. Their current promotion (first 5 months half off) was too good to ignore, and on top of that, their insurance rate is about $5 cheaper than what I'm paying now. Those little things add up. I submitted an interest form, and the property manager called me first thing the next day, which I really appreciated. We went over pricing, lot sizes, and availability, and I was assured they had my preferred unit size available (I'm planning to go up in size at this location). The best part of the conversation? Even though I'm not quite ready to move yet (likely within the next month or so) I was told they would still honor the promotional pricing whenever I'm ready to move in. That flexibility and honesty went a long way. So far, the experience has been very positive and professional. They turn cameras off. Theres drug being smuggled threw here . This location is dangerous. SAPD property crimes have no information from management there as to who the criminals are . Read rental agreement . They can go into your storage unit with put you present . They can turn cameras off .they let people in to storage facility and there not registered are being there . When my items were burglaries employee named Tracy said the cartel took my valuables . Maybe they own the storage facility . Dont put yourself in danger here becuase SAPD may not respond . They can kill you in basement and haul you away in garbage bag .
