Horrible. It might look clean on the outside, but I wouldn't recommend it. Using the facility is so inconvenient. They won't refund you for the use of the lock unless it's within 30 days. Security is one thing, but the excessive requirement of access codes makes it hard to get in. You're forced to use their locks for an additional fee. The worst part of the bugs, rats and scorpions. We went in Sat and found lots of rat droppings, a dead rat in our unit, and three scorpions! When we came back on Tuesday, the dead mouse was still in the hall. We rented a 5x10 which is the perfect size for what we need. It was very easy to reserve and pay for this online. App works for doors or you can use code. There were flatbed dollies available to borrow while you bring things in. My lock and paperwork were inside the unit. This was a seamless process. The place is clean and temperature controlled. I'm glad I choose this storage facility. Insurance is mandatory on top of the rent. You can choose the one they recommend or get your own. I don't like not having a choice on whether I need insurance or not. Other than that the place meets are needs. read more

Updating my review because it's been a few months - After a few hiccups in the beginning, everything is going well. I still don't like that it's next to impossible to get ahold of anyone onsite. Cindy was very kind when I had credit card issues for my first payment and storage facility is always clean. The drive thru for vehicles to load and unload has been broken forever, so it can be tough to manage when busy, though. read more

Unit was great, but they kept raising the price on the storage, I went from paying $112 Dollar to $200 Dollars, it was not worth keeping.

I really am disturbed by how their management tier works in the big company? I sit here and wait for almost a month, to wait on some impathetic regional or district manager to tell me we will try to find out who the buyer was that purchased our unit which was sold underneath us and I mean wow they are so smooth. Considering that was our military records, daughters urn, my mothers urn. He told me would stay in touch with about what was going on and keep us to date... So then I decide I am going to call them and Cindy is out on medical and the system was down for few weeks and I am thinking no voicemail were responded to , go over the District Manager and Regional just bull-shitted and told us he was going to look into it and finding about the buy and try to get a hold of them to see about obtaining military documents and gear and then the urns. We never were late till the damn auto pay would just stop Plus taking a payment after the fact of the auction and then calling us after the auction to come secure our storage unit. Now this the wife of the disgruntled Veteran who lost everything and now having to pay this back... This is how you do people in general even Veterans.. I must say this facility was very nice. The outside was perfectly clean with no trash or debris around. The outside parking is a perfect place to leave a vehicle or trailer. The property manager was quite pleasant. Very professional and when I hadn't moved in to my space yet she gave me a call to make sure I still needed it so if I didn't I wouldn't be charged for the next month. I've had a climate controlled storage unit for the past 13 years across 5 different companies. This is my first time at a Public Storage and the first one that I've seen living bugs inside. Not just one, but several roaches. It was bad enough that I was kicking them off of my stuff while trying to load my new unit. The manager assures me that they spray every week, but if that's true then they're getting ripped off on their pest spray, since as mentioned this is the first facility that I've seen LIVING bugs. Also, this is the first facility where access hours include exiting the site. At other companies it's always been you have until that time to ENTER the facility. Apparently Public Storage expects you to vacate the premises by that time instead. Which my other units usually had either 24 hr or 10pm access, this location is 9pm. If I don't leave the premises by 9pm, then they will limit my access to office hours only. Unfortunately, my work schedule doesn't allow me very much time to even get to the facility by 9pm, much less guarantee I leave by that time. Especially since my unit is on the opposite side of the elevators and they run slow. Point is, had I known there was an EXIT time and that they would threaten to restrict my access over leaving a few minutes late, I never would've moved to this facility. One thing I like is they have a secured, covered, loading bay area so you don't have to unload your vehicle in the elements - that's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars, since I've never seen that at another facility. read more
