The service of the two who did the work was great. However, this company essentially pulled a bait and switch on the pricing then expect me to jump through hoops to fix their bad business practices. They quoted me 119 per hour and asked me what day I wanted. I asked for a Wednesday. They offered me Sunday or Tuesday. I took Sunday After I completed the service my bill said 129 an hour. I messaged back to the Yelp messaging and was told that the change was because they charge more for Sunday - the 129 price. It was never discussed that there was a price difference. They told me I would have to call someone in several days to refund my 20.00. I haven't heard anything since. I don't know why people can't conduct business and not be shady. Seriously, it isn't that difficult. Do better! read more

Yesterday was the 3rd time that we have used the services of Swift Movers and they did not disappoint. They were just as professional, polite and respectful as the first time they helped us in 2018. The whole team was efficient and careful with our things. They had to move some of the heaviest items in our home - from a 300 lbs vintage decorative safe to a kiln that was over 500 lbs. They were also very patient as we gave them the placement for each item they brought into our new home. Although we decided to move our house by ourselves, I have to say that swift movers was extremely responsive! They were not only one of the first people to respond (Some NEVER did) to my message but sent me a complete list of what they were going to need to complete the move as well as a very realistic price range which included the labor, the amount of people they needed, the mileage and everything in between! Many other moving companies said they would charge X number of dollars for two hours and from there it would increase in increments, which worried me greatly!!! The other companies didn't explain what the charges would be and were very vague on details Nobody was able to give me the exact pricing that this company was, if we had decided to use a mover I definitely would have used SWIFT MOVERS!! read more

To start with the truck was 45 minutes late. Then while moving the furniture in, they damaged 14 out 15 wood stairs, and damaged a wall!! They didn't even tell us about the damage! Then they asked my teenage daughter for a tip! I have contacted them several times and they keep saying that they are sending me a claim form! Been a week and still no form or visit from the owners to inspect the damage! Never use this company! Unprofessional!! read more

Jeremy's crew helped with my move. As soon as I called they were five minutes away, helped move a living room set I bought from a neighbor on the cheap, and moved it all quickly. They have a bunch of equipment using elevators and dollys. I tried a different moving service who didn't even call me back. Swift Movers saved the day! Got last minute notice to vacate a property and they were able to schedule an appointment right away for the same day. Tried several other recommendations through Yelp, but they were the only ones able to provide services on the same day. Eddie and Adrian showed up and immediately got to work. They got held up at a previous appointment, but these guys wasted no time and got going right away. Service was fast and the guys were professional and courteous, even chatted with me as they worked. They did a great job and also saved me some money with a storage facility by packing everything efficiently and so I didn't even need the extra storage unit I had picked up. They arrived four hours late, overcharged me, and I had to pay for an additional day at my old place due to their lies. They called after being two hours late and said they'd be there in thirty minutes. Then called later and said the truck broke down. When I tried to be nice and reschedule I was told no and they said they were still coming. Held hostage. The overcharge caused my account to go negative and resulted in $230 lost to bank fees. And my deposit was never applied. I will be contacting owner for restitution. read more

Including the dispatcher Danelle and Amber communicated with me prior to our move and the day of to ensure my movers were on time and if they can arrive earlier or where they were in route. I am so angry right now for being charged over $2700 for a move where the workers were obviously high on controlled substances, something that they took in my front yard, they sent one truck with two movers to move a 4 bedroom home in which two of the rooms I pretty much cleared and asked them to only take the large items, I kept emphazing only take the large items, they started throwing freezer food in boxes with glass, putting my pictures in boxes and breaking my votifs and frames, scratched my office furniture really bad from improper handling and i watched it all, also I have witnesses that can attest to them being on somethin, they were irratic and all over the place. Furthermore when I told them to only grab the large items and furniture I had my cleaning crew helping me pack the miscellaneous, were not listening to me and continued doing what I asked th not to do. They started riding clock, moving slow, talking on their cell phones, complaining and horse playing the entire time and said it Was because they had 3 other moves that day, they started hustling and moving fast the last 2 hours because my storage was closing. Meanwhile they crush my new file cabinet and used pliers to pull the dent out, they also mixed my office with my house furniture and now I can not work my clients files until someone retrieves the boxes, I was told that they would come out the next day to move the furniture so that I can get the rest of my clients files and no one showed up. Also I paid a $130 tip on the credit card and the worker Oscar asked me to pay it cash, so I withdrew funds from the ATM and they said they would reverse the credit card top transaction and basically ran off with my funds. Of over $260 that I would not have left, there was only two workers that actually hustled to get the job done before the others finally showed u. There should have been 4 men to one truck, to preserve time especially charging people $325 an hour, I was seriously ripped off and done bad in this situation, I called several times to speak with Joel and was given the run around. i asked for a $600 refund after 5 full hours was wasted, then they didn't finish moving my things into the storage because we were locked out in the middle of moving and my items were left outside of my storage all night luckily I got to it before anyone else did the next day! This is bad business, I am seeking legal counsel since I am unable to get compensated for my time and damages, I do recommend a more professional company than this for larger loads and expensive items. Mind you I hired one person to move only my large items and it took him only 4 hours and I paid him under $500, this is so sad! But I will keep calling until Friday then I will file a police report and file through my attorney. I saved my ATM receipt and Joel agreed to reverse my card and never did. This is so unprofessional on so many levels, I have never experienced this with any other moving company. read more

Called so many companies to get quotes and they were one of the more affordable options. We had originally gone with a diff co that made a mistake on our move date and had to reschedule to a later day and Swift Movers was able to fit us in for a sat move. I called them Thurs so was happy they had the availability and at the same discounted rate the other co was offering for moving on a weekday. They stated all the costs up front and gave a pretty accurate estimate. I received an email and phone confirmation, they were on time and wrapped all our items. They worked quickly and efficiently. Very helpful and nice. Would highly recommend! There was one item that broke a little but it was an old piece and they recommended how to fix which we will do. read more

I used Swift Movers to move some items from San Antonio to Austin. Crew was very efficient and quick. However, when they finished the move they wanted to charge me a higher amount. I showed them my estimate and they called the office and the person on the other end of the line agreed to charge me what was originally estimated and I made the payment with my credit card. Two weeks later they made an additional charge to my credit card without consulting me. They argue that the job took longer, etc but 1) it was not what we agreed when the job was finished and 2) they did not let me know they were going to charge my credit card again. Dishonest people.
