I had used EcoBox previously for…read moreboxes for a move across town and was very satisfied with their service, so I came in a couple days ago needing boxes for some Christmas gifts. Sam asked the dimensions of my gifts and then showed me multiple options, including price differences. He also encouraged me to call for a UPS quote on shipping once I got everything packaged up. The next day, I called for a quote as Sam recommended. He remembered my name as soon as he answered the phone and promptly created a quote, even though my order was quite large and time consuming. I brought my packages into the store and he created my labels for me and helped me find the best rates. Not only was this enormously helpful, but it also meant I could avoid all long lines at post offices and shipping centers! He sent me email confirmations immediately upon my order as well. I appreciate how eco box offers biodegradable packaging and is very cost effective. This level of customer service has now made me a lifelong customer. Email is not a secure communication method, and demanding card number via email is a violation of PCI DSS. Storing a CVV after transaction is another violation of PCI DSS.

Im glad I did because I ended up packing ahead of schedule and he and the team were able to get my move done a day early with one day notice from me. I was so thankful because then I had more help from my family to unpack. They wrapped everything well and nothing was broken, which wasnt the case with my movers I hired for my last move. I will say the crew (not Brandon) did start to get tired and off track toward the end but ​ended up completing about 30 minutes ahead schedule of my quoted price. I fear if we would have only had two movers we wouldn't have been able to get it done in 6 hours. (3 Br 2 Bath 1600 sq foot house) All to say, three movers was the right call for this size project. I do…read morewant to start by saying the team was very friendly and accommodating, especially when we ran into unexpected issues with our leasing office not giving us keys when previously agreed. They were patient and worked with us through that situation, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Despite being told multiple times that the truck was "fully loaded," we returned to find several large items still left behind in our garage (see photo). These weren't small or easily manageable things -- they were exactly the type of items you hire movers to handle. At no point was it communicated that anything was being left. That's the biggest issue. If something doesn't fit or can't be taken, that needs to be clearly stated in the moment -- not discovered after the fact when we have already paid ($1100+) no longer have a way to transport it ourselves. What made the situation even more concerning was the complete lack of communication during the move. At one point, we lost track of them entirely (no response for nearly an hour)... as a result my partner ended up having to drive (12 minutes) back to the old apartment to find the truck leaving, then had to follow it for an extended period of time due to genuine concern about where our belongings were going. There were multiple wrong turns, and later the explanation given was that one phone had died and the other was in the back of the truck and couldn't be accessed. All of this happened while they had our garage door opener and full access to our home, which only added to the stress and concern. No customer should be put in a position where they feel they need to monitor movers to ensure their belongings are safe. We understand that moving days can be hectic and things don't always go perfectly, but clear communication and follow-through are the bare minimum -- and both were lacking here. While we appreciate their friendliness and flexibility, the job was not completed as expected, and the lack of transparency left a bad impression. If you use this company, I would strongly recommend confirming in person that everything is actually loaded before they leave. We won't be using them again.

This was not the first time it had happened. FedEx comes into our gated area every day, so they have access. We were home that whole morning when I received the update email from FedEx. Once arriving at the shipping center, I waited in the lobby for several minutes with no one out front. All I could hear was yelling in the back. I will, however, say that the person that finally helped me was friendly. I still continue to dislike FedEx.

My delivery was set for 9:10-1:10 it is now 2:20 and no packages. The first message said they had both my packages (coming from the same company). Now the latest update says they have 1 of 2 packages. I hate using FEDEX. I try to change but some companies only use FEDEX. I have had packages dropped at my neighbors and had to find out which neighbor. One time I went and there was a whole stack of packages to different people not living there. I asked her if I could delivery the packages myself and she said sure so I went to different neighbors and dropped their packages off. The way I found the packages was FEDEX called the driver and he told them where he left the packages. Guess it is easier than making al those stops to do one drop. There is something seriously wrong with the company. It is a hassle to order on line and buy something expensive only to worry that it will not arrive. They already have our money. I am calling the company I ordered from to let them know the problems with FEDEX. Hopefully they will change the company they use for deliveries.
