Short rib pot
Rachel B.

An elegant brunch spot with surprisingly comfortable seating and beautiful decor. I had the short rib pot here and it was well balanced with veggies and meat, and a sweet sauce that paired nicely.

Excellent egg dishes for breakfast. my friend had a coconut iced drink that he said was excellent. Only getting four stars because of the price, not the food.

I finally got to gooo!! This place always has a wait and i totally see why! The food options are amazing , the aesthetic is very warm and open. I luckily went with a big group so that means--- more dishes i get to try ! I don't think anyone has any commentary about the meals except that it was really good! **HIGHLIGHTS** Millionaires bacon flight , crab Benedict , Korean fried chicken and of course. Mimosas. Check out my food page @shecameand.ate for a my review!

Cappuccino 10/10

The restaurant is beautiful. Outside makes you feel like you're on a vacation.... And inside makes you feel like you've just arrived at your destination of a hotel lobby on vacation. Lol It's bright and inviting and open with tall ceilings. Almost feels very communal as well. The service is amazing, greeted with smiles and welcomes. So far, everyone has been amazing and I've been three times almost in a row with different people every time. Funny I visited a sweet maple at a different location. Didn't like it and was skeptical on going to this one so I put it off for a few years until recently and I'm so happy I showed up. I really think they have one of the best cappuccino's. The best kimchi. And the best brussels sprouts I've ever had. But of course call me bias that's my personal opinion. My family now looks forward to trying it again for lunchtime. I've had the Ramen, the stone pot, brussels sprouts.... Drinks chicken, and Croffle and a few others. The blueberry early grey coffee come so why cheese which was unexpected and the croffle almost feel uncooked fully in the center... quite chewy probably won't get that again but the rest has been enjoyable. I'll be back. :).

Food was ok, one of my poached eggs on my Blackstone Benedict was not runny, although the other flavors were sufficient. I'll give them props on the brussel sprouts, as they were crispy and flavorful. My daughter ordered the chicken croffle and found the texture to be odd and didn't finish the chicken which was very surprising. Service was good we were greeted we seated immediately and was checked on for filling the waters. Ambience was chill as everybody was engaged in conversations with those who they were breaking bread with. Probably won't go back, twas a little pricey, and because we'll just continue to try other new places and some of our favorite spots! Giving this place three yummms up and a better luck next time !

Came here to meet up with out of town friends staying in wine country. The moment you walk in, I feel like I'm in a chic West Hollywood brunch spot. Who knew this was in Walnut Creek? I was sat in the back, quiet, great place to talk. I browsed the menu and already had an idea what I wanted until I saw Millionaire Bacon and deep fried blueberry French toast . Ummmm yes please. Yes, order the bacon. It's delicious full of flavor and not overly greasy. It's more on the chewy vs crispy crunchy side. Still worth it and it doesn't cost a million bucks The cocktail looking caffeinated coffee drink was delicious. This is what happens when I wait too long to write the review; I forget the names. ‍. it reminded me of a shakerato or an Einspiner from 10K coffee. It was a cigar looking thing to it. Loved it! The French toast was nicely fried. Not too sweet. Just enough flavors. Need to come back with the family to eat other mochi pancakes and Bennie's too. The staff were Thai so obv great hospitality

Came here for breakfast the spot on the outside is unassuming and unless you were looking for it yours walk right past not knowing it was there. But inside is modern and has a really chill vibe. They have a patio also. The servers are really engaging and it appeared that it didn't matter who took your order everyone would check in on you. The food was really good but this place can get pricey so that's why I gave it 4. But this is California so I guess! I went with the crab sandwich is was really good like most people I wish it had more crab in there but taste wise A1! My daughter (picky eater) went with the waffle. She claimed it wasn't good but I tasted it and it was good had the croissant taste with a little cinnamon! I would definitely get it. I saw the chicken and waffle it looked really good! My wife went with an egg breakfast. It came with potatoes and it was a potato medley that good also. With an added on millionaire bacon. That was tasty but it was also pricey! Overall it is a spot I would visit again!

Short Rib Pot
Kyja S.

The aesthetics of this spot is incredible, it looks really nice & upscale both inside & outside on the patio. Service is top notch! If you do the bottomless mimosas (1 hour only), they will not forget about you always checking to see if you're ready for another round. The food has really awesome flavor, especially if you're good to try something new & different. The short ribs pot was really good, but the short rib was a tad dry & the rice had strange texture to it. The millionaire bacon flight was suuuuper good! The rosemary millionaire bacon is top tier, highly recommend.

First thing I can say is very upscale brunch setting. Items are pricier than I am used to but food quality was great and I can see why this place was busy. I ordered the MexiCali burger and it was delicious beef tasted fresh and juicer. All the flavors merged well together, but you could still taste each individual ingredient. The fries were delicious Well seasoned crispy, I didn't want to share lol. I definitely would recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area

Omelette w chicken sausage a bit overcooked but still good
Young B.

A well deserved 5 star rating. I took my friend here for a birthday brunch and we had the best time, the best food/drinks and the best service. We got the bottomless mimosas and I loved the curocao one the best. I could only have 2.5 because I had to drive. But they were strong! And we had to go somewhere else by foot so I could sober up. I am not a fan of bacon but I tried a bite of the million dollar bacon and it WAS very good. By the waitress' recommendation I got the moconut waffles and when it arrived, I thought oh boy that won't fill me up and it looked so plain. Once I took the first bite I was in heaven. I ate slowly to savor every amazing bite and I was very full when I finished. My friend will order this the next time she's here too. She got the omelette which sounded good and was good enough, but it was overcooked in our opinion (for me, the Korean steamed egg is so much wetter and less cooked). The waitress took time to talk to us and we learned the owners are Korean. No wonder there are so many Korean inspired dishes. I will definitely be back and bring my family. They will love it. And I want to meet the owners. Lol. P.S. the nearest parking lot is Growers and sad to say they charged me twice, once for the right amount of $16.99 and another charge of $8.99. I disputed this with my credit card but what an annoying waste of my time. And plus I might not have noticed if I weren't looking at my bill for something else. I will park elsewhere next time.

Raman C.

We came here for my birthday brunch and truly enjoyed our experience. The servers were very nice, attentive, and welcoming, which made the visit even more special. The food was good overall, but the highlight for me was definitely the French fries -- honestly some of the best I've had in years! They were perfectly fried, well salted, and super crunchy. A lovely spot for a relaxed brunch and celebration.

Breakfast
Thomas U.

The reservation system didn't seem to be working but the que went faster than advertised. Servers were quick and professional even when facing guests with challenging children. The place was clean and modern without getting too loud. Table placement was tight but not impinging on others. It is reasonably well layed out The food is really the star of the show. The chicken waffles was really exceptional. The fried chicken certainly gives Thomas Keller's Ad Hoc a run for the money. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The millionaire bacon is certainly as good as advertised. I had the Tornado Galbi Omurice and it was tender and delicious. I was amazed at the portion accuracy. We were both full and didn't need carry out boxes. I also wanted to mention the iced tea was brewed, not instant, and was really good as well. This looks to become one of my favorite restaurants in 2026

Bacon flight thing
MaryAnn A.

Get the bacon flight! Or whatever it's called. What an experience! my first time hear was great. I ordered the mini pancakes, Korean fried chicken, the potato medley and the guava "morning drink". Everything was delicious! Service was on point. If you even picked up a menu to take a look at it a second time they were right there to make sure they could take your order or make a suggestion! Super helpful. We sat outside and it was perfect weather for it. Clean, cute, such a great brunch spot! Definitely have to come back again!

He ended up ordering an iced turkish coffee with milk. It was hot outside, so I went in to grab some water. Their water container was not only basically empty, but it was also warm. Gross. I decided I would rather pay for a cup of iced water (because in a lot of the places I've been to, they charge for it). I go up to the register and ask if I can buy a plastic cup with iced water. The cashier/pastry cook/barista says, "Water?" and I repeat that I want a cup with iced water. She says, "Ice?" and I say, yes please. She goes right next to where the other barista is and she grab a scoop full of ice and gestures it to me. I'm kind of confused by this point, and it seems like the other barista is too. And then I ask again if I can get it in a plastic cup. Then the other barista points to one of the paper cups next to the warm water container, but then I ask them again if I could please get it in one of the cups they have, (because I wanted to be able to carry it around with a lid). That's when the other barista says, "You're doing too much, but okay." And she passes me the plastic cup, without a lid, acting as if I just asked her for her whole paycheck and half the drinks on the menu. I'm definitely annoyed at this point, but I don't care enough to be rude back. Then she says she's going to fill up the container. So she goes, gets the container to fill it up, and I'm there waiting with my friend in the store. It looks like she's the only barista there, so it keeps taking a little longer for the drink(s) to come out. When she finally comes back with a semi-filled container, I'm conversing with my friend, when she turns sharply and says, "Were you going to order anything??" in a pretty snappy tone, as if I'm only worth giving a plastic cup to if I'm going to order more. We reply that we already ordered, and she goes back to finish drinks that a previous customer had ordered. It's two drinks, and I assume that it took about 12-15 minutes for them to receive what looked like small hot drinks. I say this because these customers were sitting there well before my friend and I arrived, took time to order, and then were waiting for our drinks. After that, we're still waiting while she goes to take orders, and that's when the cashier/pastry cook/barista woman finishes my friends drink... after having stood there FOREVER while the other barista was going in circles. I was shocked to say the least, kind of amused, but also disappointed because these customers drink was about 8-9 bucks, the wait time was about 8-10 minutes, and the drink was disgusting. Actually insane. I don't recommend this place whatsoever. Place looks mid, service was abominable, and the workers look like they hate each other and anyone who asks for a plastic cup with iced water. Do better, and preferably give us back our money for the nasty drink+attitude combo.

Before we got deep into our drive, we wanted to stop for some coffee, and this spot happened to be open and on our way. We're not super familiar with coffee in the Bay Area, and for most of our trip we hadn't chosen great shops to visit. Panama Bay, however, really surprised us. A lot about this spot felt unassuming to us. It's a small cottage on the corner that stands out from the taller, more modern apartment buildings around it. There's not much space indoors. All of their seating is outdoors, located next to their outdoor pickup window. It's a little more offbeat than your average coffee spot, but it's really charming. The great service was one of the first things I noticed. Our two baristas were very friendly, chatting with us about our trip, and giving menu recommendations. All of this was greatly appreciated, especially since their menu has many options. They had an extensive list of syrup flavors, lattes, pour over coffee, and breakfast sandwiches. I grabbed a banana latte, and breakfast sandwich. The coffee was flavorful, and the sandwich has the best chipotle mayo. My partner tried the Mayan pour over, and he really loved his drink. Everything that we ordered was fantastic, and the friendly baristas really made our visit. This was easily the best coffee spot we visited during our trip I definitely recommend dropping by this spot if you're nearby, and I'll definitely be back in the future if I'm ever back up north.

Although the location is not prominent, pictures of their beautifully crafted drinks and delicious bánh mì sandwiches have been spreading across different social media platforms. So much so that they have been featured in reporting by several local media outlets. Out of curiosity, I decided to check this spot out with my brother and a couple friends on 08/29/2025. It wasn't busy when we walked in at around noon. A quick glance revealed a space that's tiny but well organized. We were greeted by Thuy, the friendly proprietor of the establishment. Since this was our first visit, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. In the end, we each got a bánh mì sandwich and a beverage. Pricing was reasonable IMHO (see menu pic). I had the cold cut bánh mì and an iced coffee. I gave half of my sandwich to my brother, and he gave me half of his grilled chicken bánh mì in return. Both sandwiches were delicious! The baguette was excellent. It was crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. Thuy told me later on that she gets them from Duc Huong Sandwiches, a famed Vietnamese sandwich chain in San Jose. The homemade pâté, cold cuts, and grilled chicken were all delicious, and the produce was very fresh. The iced coffee was very good as well. We chatted with Thuy extensively before and after our meal. She told us she was a banker prior to opening this café. From our conversation, I could tell she takes pride in her work. We were all very impressed by her demeanor and business acumen. Should you find yourself in downtown Walnut Creek, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars.
