Kudos for it being a huge portion and I couldn't actually finish it. But the ingredients consisted of 17 gallons of acai, some granola and some sliced bananas. WOW! FINALLY, an amazing and generous açaí bowl. If you're into a darker blueberry-heavy açaí blend, this is your spot. The shop is so fun, too! It's chock-full of adorable raw desserts. I got an avocado toast, kale salad, and black bean burger. The avocado toast and burger each came with a side in which we got "poke". The avocado toast was simple yet satisfying with many different veggies and nicely toasted. The kale salad had everything you want in a salad. The black bean burger was one the best vegan burger I've ever had. The party had great flavor and wasn't dried out like other places. The condiments on the burger were great and the bread was nicely toasted yet again. Now to the "poke". This was the best thing on the menu in my opinion. If I were to guess the "meat" seemed like purple potatoes that were perfectly cooked mixed around with a beautiful sauce making it seem like poke. I can think of several ways the two sandwiches could have been elevated by additions of either herbs, or onions or some type of sauce. I'm still thinking about their Pickled Pepper Sandwich (avocado, house made pickled peppers, tomato, cucumber, alfalfa sprouts and garlic Mac nut spread) days after eating there. The sandwich was filling, but doesn't make you feel too full or bloated afterwards. Hot tips: - Call your order in well ahead of time - we called 30 mins ahead at 3p on a Saturday and still had to wait for ~10 mins when we arrived. - Make sure to ask them which sides are available if you order over the phone since they have some daily specials that aren't listed on the online menu (most items on the menu come with a side). We were at this restaurant a couple of months ago and had such a bizarre and unfortunate experience. We ordered a juice and sandwich. Then waited. And waited. We went in to check and were told it should be out soon. So we waited. Finally we went in again to see where the sandwich was -- turns out they had lost the ticket (and didn't seem too worried about it...). So we ordered a smoothie while we were waiting. It was not tasty at all (and later ended up making my wife feel quite sick). We waited a while longer for the sandwich. Finally after about 45 minutes we went back and said forget it, we're going somewhere else. I asked for a refund. The sandwiches sounded and looked better than they tasted. I'm sure it is healthy, but the texture of my sandwich wasn't pleasant and the ingredients didn't jive together. I had the pickled pepper sandwich. The bread was crumbly and grainy. The macadamia nut pesto texture was strange and cheese spread like. There was really no flavor though. The pickles were too sweet for my liking. It was just a really weird combination. My husband didn't like the pickle sandwich either. He had the Taro burger which we both agreed was interesting, but he is not sure if he would order it again. The salads are where it's at! The Caesar salad with balsamic eggplant was tasty and tangy, and it didn't mind that it didn't resemble what I think of as a Caesar salad.
