I've been here a few times and I appreciate that their is a kiosk to help with the lines and maybe it helps the workers focus more on making the drinks and if that is the case why are my drinks never coming out the same? I appreciate them trying to get the drinks out especially during a rush but when they call out my order and I walk up to the little window and have a question for them they slam the window and don't even give out great customer service or say "thank you". I guess it depends on whose working, because some of them are nice but there's one girl who has an attitude. I'm hoping they can fix these issues as a customer who loves supporting local businesses. read more

Tried this spot out while staying at our Airbnb on my Hilo trip with my husband and I'm so happy we had the convenience of having this cafe so close to us! We were only in Hilo for 4 days and we came here for breakfast for 3 of them - I think that alone can tell you how much we enjoyed their food and drinks here. I ordered the Strawberry Guava Matcha and it was so good that I ordered it each time we came here! I will say it is pretty sweet because of the syrup - so just keep that in mind if you don't like sweet drinks. We also ordered the Veggie Burritos - they were simple, but in the best way possible. We enjoyed the salsa it came with too! There aren't any tables since it is a small place, but there's benches outside that you can sit at to enjoy your order. New fave cafe! Despite the name, I've only tried tea based drinks lol. Can attest, I loved the strawberry matcha, strawberry hojicha, and banana barrel matcha. Disclaimer: I typically don't like banana flavored things but the banana barrel is banana biscoff pudding and it was delicious! Ordering is a breeze and there's multiple options. In-person at the counter, in-person on the outside kiosk, or online. They probably take phone orders too but I haven't tried/checked. Staff is always friendly and provides wonderful recommendations. Very little seating available but it is meant to be grab and go. Large menu and I love that they have rotating weekly specials that they also post on their instagram! read more

I've been hearing about this place for a while now & finally got to try it. It's a cute little place with lots of plants & friendly service. I opted for a special which was salted cream iced espresso. The coffee to flavor ratio was perfect for me. You can tell it's quality coffee. It ended up being over $10 for a 16 oz. & with a tip closer to $13. So I think I'll go here if I have a little extra $$$. Definitely a place to go if you're looking to treat yourself. read more

I didn't find where to park. Zero stars. Never again. We lost 15 minutes driving around.

My partner mentioned a new coffee spot opening this morning, so we went to check it out. They have a good variety of coffee and tea drinks and some food offerings. I opted for their drip coffee, which used Ka'u beans. From what I could taste, it was definitely a dark roast. It's not my favorite roast level, but I'm sure those who enjoy bold coffee would! My partner opted for their Blended Chai Freeze with cold foam. She said it tasted similar to Cinnamon Toast Crunch (cereal) and had a mild chai flavor. However, we did notice the cold foam wasn't there UNLESS it was blended into it. We hope that's the case, as it's an upcharge. The reason behind the three stars is that the workers there didn't have a friendly attitude. I said "Thank you" to one of the workers after making eye contact with them when picking up my drip from the pickup window, and just got a blank stare. Otherwise, this would be a 4-star. Given the number of coffee places in Hilo these days (there seems to be a new one every other month), I don't think I will be back anytime soon. read more
