We really enjoyed our sandwiches and drinks at Swan Dive! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and our order came out promptly. The sandwich and drink menus are fun and eclectic. I like that the location is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown while still being accessible to the downtown area. I will say that the price for the amount of food is a bit prohibitive. There are two different sandwich sizes, but even the larger sandwich can feel a bit minimal. Perhaps if you're visiting for a lighter lunch, the portion would feel better. We ate around dinner time and were pretty hungry, so this will factor into our dining decisions. The sandwiches don't come with a side (aside from a few dilly beans, which are very good by the way), so do keep that in mind. After a wonderful campus tour, we were super hungry and craving a good sandwich. We always try to find a local spot and Yelp reviews led us to Swan Dive. Definitely a local vibe. We were quickly greeted and we didn't have to wait to be seated. Each one of us devoured our sandwiches! We had the special corn beef and kraut, tomato soup and grilled cheese, and Grand Salami sandwich. The bread was tasty and fresh! Just the type of food we were hoping for. I even tried a locally brewed cider, which topped off my expectation. Cold, not too sweet and a mild taste that made it easy to drink. I heard about this place on a Facebook group but was a little skeptical when I could find many reviews. We decided to just got for it and I am so happy we did!! This place has the cutest cozy interior with the nicest workers. Definitely a hidden gem of Corvallis. The food was beyond delicious. The bread was light and airy and perfect with the oil and vinegar. And the sandwiches!! Every bite was filled with flavor and perfectly assembled. After our food came out my partner and I sat and ate almost in silence because of how good this food was. Delicious sandwiches. I was so happy with the vegetarian Mo Mo sandwich. My family loved their Gaba ghoul and Hey Tony sandwiches as well. The focaccia bread is amazing. The 1/2 size was plenty for us. The Mac n cheese side was a bit disappointing. It tasted kind of like beer cheese with pasta. Service was a bit slow, but they were very busy.
