    Breakfast sandwich special

Good service and comfortable seating. Both my friend and I got their breakfast sandwich special, it was good! Hard to eat, and wished the gravy was a little more flavorful. Overall so good though, we both LOVED our drinks. I got their mushroom coffee which was awesome, the matcha according to my friend was grassy in a good way!

Inconsistent. My family was excited to return to Oddbirds after an initial positive experience, but we all agreed that we had a disappointing second visit. Was excited about the shrimp Benedict which included local bay shrimp, but were served a gummy shrimp cake. The chicken and pancakes had overcooked, dry, burnt fried chicken. The chia bowl with fruit was our best order, but incorporated some sour fruit. The front of house staff were friendly and very thoughtful. We felt that a few of the items plated should probably have been refired, or redone. We normally love a good brunch spot, but so far have had mixed experiences at Odd Bird.

I ate the same breakfast (basic 2 egg + meat + breakfast potatoes) 3 days in a row at 3 different restaurants while visiting Corvallis. This one was probably my favorite (if not tied with the Dizzy Hen in Philomath). The breakfast potatoes really stole the show- super crispy and delicious. Large restaurant, pretty quick service, and open on Mondays (unlike some others in the area). Would return!

Food was provactive in description but all of it arrived lukewarm, which lost a star for me. Stand out dish was the homemade pop tart, and the mouth watering whipped cream it was served with. It made me chuckle when my family called it our "breakfast appetizer" - as the eight of us shared that single tart! Most of our dishes were colorful, and pleasing to the eye, except for the lentil patty plate, which appeared to be clinically sad, when compared to the array of color and festive plating of the other dishes. The salmon hash plate tasted exactly as described, and was delicious but I'd prefer a salmon benedict for a similar flavor and prettier plating. My eggs benedict was a little skimpy on the Hollandaise but was very yummy. Fried chicken sando was a bit burned. Our service was very well-done. The environment was beautiful, and so interesting to be inside a former horse paddock - maybe? It was the only brunch game open on a Sunday, and it is situated next to a river walk, so a meal here would be a nice Sunday morning treat and visit. Parking is free on Sundays! It appears to be a popular place, so parties over 4 should make a reservation.

    French toast

I came here on a Sunday morning around 11:15 am and we were seated closer to 12 so there was a bit of a wait but honestly it was worth it. My boyfriend got the French toast (17$) and he loved it despite being a picky eater. It was delicious and such a large portion. The whip cream on top was soo good. Probably the best I have ever had. The eggs and biscuit were also very good and perfectly cooked. Our server was very friendly and accommodating and the food came out quickly. Everyone was very nice here. Prices weren't bad either. Coffee was great too (4.50$). Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here for brunch and if there is a line stick it out because the wait is worth it.

Decided to try this place out before leaving town. It has a very homey feel to it as you walk in and the food all looks pretty. The server was friendly and prompt, but for the food looking good it just did not deliver on the taste. There were a total of 6 of us and out of 5 of us that ordered some sort of egg dish(4 of them being poached eggs), not one was cooked correctly. All were overcooked. One of the people even ordered over easy eggs which were also over hard. The bloody Mary's looked delicious but deliver no flavor. My wife's smoked salmon hash was VERY fishy. I love seafood and it was even too fishy for me. The Shrimp Benedict was ok, I feel like the whole flavor profile would have changed it the eggs were runny, but it just turned out to be all around dry. The one bright spot, we ordered the tropical bowl and that alone was very delicious..that and the ice-t. We even ordered a couple sides of bacon requesting them not crunchy and those were crispy as well...

Really great breakfast spot in Corvallis. Meal options were elevated compared to other traditional spots and the food was outstanding. I loved the sustainable interior as well and our waitress was amazing. Highly recommend.

We were driving through and decided to try this place even though the reviews were not great. We loved the quaint feel of this place and the food was good, although none of us felt we had anything craveable that would make us want to return. Service was very slow and we felt our waitress wasn't really listening to our requests. We were satisfied, but won't be back.

dude everytime i come here they neverrrr disappoint. wait times are a little long but it is so incredibly worth it. honestly the best brunch in corvallis. i highly recommend the eggs benedict and their french toast bites were so good. definitely will be back

The standard breakfast. Sausage and potatoes were fantastic.

Only breakfast place that opens early in Corvallis during the week days. The service was excellent and it was charming ambience. The food was pretty good. I ordered the standard breakfast and the potatoes were fantastic. We also ordered the berries Romanoff. Overall decent except the biscuit was really dry. The coffee was decent. I judge a lot of breakfast places by how good the coffee is. It tasted like your standard restaurant coffee, nothing exciting. Overall, a good place to get breakfast in Corvallis.

Waiter wasn't very pleasant, we ordered our food and took well over 45 minutes. We were with family so didn't mind minus the fact we were trying to head out relatively quickly. I got my food and the egg was nowhere near over medium. Very over hard, gray yolk. The patty I had was nasty and shouldn't be served with breakfast. We asked for a to go box and watched our server attend to all other tables but because we paid we were out of mind. Corvallis is running out of breakfast spots .

    Mimosas!

Odd bird cafe is a decent brunch option in downtown Corvallis. With a group of four, we were able to get seated in 5 minutes, even without a reservation on a Saturday morning. Our server was friendly and attentive. The mimosas were solid and the French toast bites were addicting. The marinated tomato benny, however, was a bit dry and definitely needed more sauce. I was also given a huge portion of insanely large home fries, which I wish were smaller to allow for easier eating and optimal crispy texture.

I have to start by saying I work for Janae as Odd Bird's photographer and social media manager, but this isn't just a plug--I genuinely love this place. As I sit here on Thanksgiving writing a somewhat lackluster review for another restaurant, I feel compelled to share how much I truly enjoy Odd Bird. The food is hands down some of the best breakfast I've ever had. Honestly, there are very few places I consider better for brunch. The drink menu is as varied as it is tasty, with refreshing citrus-based cocktails and delicious coffee-infused ones. But let's talk about the French toast--without a doubt, it's the best I've ever had. And it's not just great food; it's thoughtful, smart, and perfectly executed. Janae has an amazing, caring staff who always make you feel welcome, ensuring every visit is a memorable one that'll keep you coming back. If you're on the hunt for your next breakfast spot, look no further. Still need convincing? My mom, a self-proclaimed brunch expert, drives an hour every other week just to eat at Odd Bird. That's all the proof you need.

I always enjoy my latte here. I've also tried out their sweet and creamy cold brew (a little too sweet but as a treat it was great!) and their cortado which are both solid. My go to dish is usually the acai bowl. Plenty of textures, flavors, and a good amount of sour and sweet that makes it's perfectly balanced. The only downside is that the spoons that are provided are a little big for the bowl that you are given, so you are bound to spill a little bit. The Mexican bowl is okay, but not quite my personal preference since there is more of a curry taste to it. Overall come and give Bodhi a try!

Though busy on a Wednesday afternoon (it was the day before Thanksgiving after all), we found a table and had a great meal. I loved my latte and biscuits and gravy! Everything was tastefully presented and had wonderful flavors. The portion sizes aren't too big, so don't expect a huge meal. I found the biscuits and gravy to be filling for a brunch, but someone with a bigger appetite might want to opt for something more substantial. The staff did a great job getting many orders out in a fairly short amount of time, and based on my meal, they weren't sacrificing quality in the process. The cafe norms are pretty standard for a seat-yourself cafe where you order at the counter, pick up your food at the counter, and bus your own table. I found Bodhi Cafe and Bakery to be exactly what I needed, and look forward to returning.

You order from the far side of the counter your beverage before going up to the cashier for the rest of your order. I bit confusing since there wasn't any actual signage or barrier that would signal that. Obviously less of an issue for future visits. The lattes are definitely good. The specialty beverages are more likely to be misses than hits. They had a Vietnamese cold brew and honestly it was one of the worst attempts that I have tried. Really it just tasted like really sweet milk with a dash of coffee flavoring. I have tried some of their winter special drinks and those are usually better. Would definitely recommend with sticking to a traditional drink for more consistency sake. It can take some time to get drinks depending on how busy they are. It's ranged from 5-20 minutes from my experience. Food wise would recommend the bagel with salmon spread. They give quite a bit of spread that it's definitely enough to fully cover both halves independently. The bagel with avocado spread would be a close second. One of a few coffee placed in Corvallis so I'll definitely find my way back here.

Another review mentioned computer campers, and I get it now- the seats inside were filled by people on their devices and no drink in sight. Reading the menu was a scavenger hunt, and although the prices weren't too bad, the whole café looked like the same copy paste cookie cutter nonsense. All the employees looked the exact same, all the coffee looked the same, and somehow all the foods looked the exact same as well? We got two medium chais, one with oat milk and the other with almond. To start, the ratio of Chai to milk was egregious, it was as if flavor was a suggestion. The Chai with almond milk tasted like bad cardamom water, and the one with oat milk tasted like cinnamon toast crunch milk. Normally I absolutely down drinks, but it stayed full with me all the way home until I could fix it. All in all, $13 for two medium milks is insane, couldn't recommended even if I was paid to..
