    Large Biscuit and Gravy

Absolutely terrible experience at Roger's. First off, the biscuits were dry, crumbly, and had zero flavor. The so-called "gravy" was basically a smear at the bottom of the container -- barely enough to cover half a biscuit, let alone make a meal out of it. We called in the order and were told 15 minutes for pickup. That seemed reasonable, but we ended up waiting nearly an entire hour before the food was finally handed to us. The only update I was given was that they had to make more gravy for the order because they didn't have enough on hand. By the time we got the food, not only was it cold, but it wasn't even worth eating. Dry biscuits, almost no gravy, and the feeling that they just don't care about the quality of our experience/food. Between the awful food and the ridiculous wait, I can confidently say we will not be back. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration -- go anywhere else.

Heading down to Ashland, needed some fuel. I love everything about diner culture. It's a real slice of Americana, or at least an old Americano. These sorts of places are filled with local so you get a sense of an area better than more slick places. And the food is as close to an old American cuisine as you have it. No surprises on the menu, just what you'd expect. Unfortunately, it's just middle of the road quality, but they compensate for that with price and quantity. Serhice was friendly and efficient.

I'm a retired truck driver and have been to restaurants all across the country so I know what's good and what's not. The food here is the best I've ever had without a doubt. The cost is very reasonable and the servers make you feel very welcome, like you're family. I highly recommend this warm homey place to everyone. You'll definitely want to bring your kids here.

    Eggs Benedict & Hashbrowns @ Roger's Restaurant.

Disappointing Sunday breakfast @ Roger's Restaurant in Albany, OR. Roger's was pretty busy and we were happy to seat ourselves at an open table. Waitress was friendly enough. Many local patrons were happily enjoying their meals and company. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in my Veggie Omelet. It consisted of lots of raw onion, raw green pepper, tomato, canned mushrooms and black olives. No one likes uncooked veggies, especially onions, wrapped in a barely warm omelet. The Hashbrowns were also undercooked. I was told the Eggs Benedict was pretty good though. I would try this restaurant again, but definitely order something else, maybe a big cinnamon roll I noticed the older crowd enjoying. The restaurant itself was outdated with basic table and chairs. The condiments (hot sauce, shakers) were also greasy and we had to wipe them down with our napkins after we used them.

The food was a glorified dog food. Tasted terrible and clearly was a pre-frozen and canned mash with canned gravy. Got coffee and never got a refill. Also had a biscuit and it was dry and terrible. I would rather eat McDonald's and that's saying a lot. Raw hash browns and the wait staff is lazy and half dumb. I said it was terrible when I went up to pay and said we never received a refill and they stated "we don't make anything in house aside from the biscuits" I replied they were just as bad. I wouldn't eat here again if I was starved. Better off hitting Walmart and buying the canned crap yourself and just microwaving it. Trash service and trash food!

Food was mediocre. Nothing fancy but well priced. Service was good. Too many MAGA people in there. Won't be back.

Waitress was great, gave us ideas on what to eat. Local place to eat. Home cooked meals that are heavy portions.

That's called parenting math. A buddy of mine used to take the kids and me here years ago, and everyone called it "FroYo." I still don't know why. It sounds like a rapper from the '90s, but I rolled with it. This time I brought my son, and we approached those yogurt machines like two scientists with absolutely no supervision. A little cookies and cream... some cheesecake... maybe swirl in a flavor that has no business being mixed with the first two... then pile on enough toppings to make the cup weigh about as much as a bowling ball. Here's the dangerous part: you pay by weight. Every gummy bear, Oreo crumble, brownie bite, and handful of sprinkles feels free... right up until you reach the register and suddenly you're wondering if you accidentally put a down payment on the yogurt machine. Was it worth it? Absolutely. The place was spotless, the staff was friendly, and the selection of flavors and toppings was fantastic. More importantly, watching my son's face light up reminded me of bringing my daughters here years ago. Those are the moments that stick with you long after the yogurt is gone. I've been to frozen yogurt shops that felt tired or picked over. Yogurt Extreme in Albany, next to Fred Meyer, is the opposite. Everything was fresh, clean, well-stocked, and just plain fun. Five stars from me. Great hospitality, great cleanliness, and great value for the experience. Just one piece of advice: maybe don't tell your kid, "You can put whatever you want on it." That's how a six-ounce cup turns into a frozen yogurt mortgage.

Outstanding Service @ BJ's Old Fashioned Ice Cream in Lebanon, OR. !!…read more Luckily we arrived before the crowds began to gather on this warm Sunday afternoon. There was at least 20 people there when we left. Service by Taryn was outstanding. She was friendly and attentive to us and all patrons. She stayed focused and patient through all the orders and everyone wanted something different, not just simple single scoop kind of desserts. I'm not sure why there would be only one employee on the weekends in the summer months, as it would have been more ideal for her to have help... I also would have liked the option to leave a tip on my card, but thankfully we had a little bit of cash to put in the tip jar. The ice cream parlor itself had lovely old school wall art, cute dessert themed decor, and many places to sit throughout. Great selection of flavors, sizes, cones, and toppings. They also had caramel popcorn, pre-made ice cream sandwiches, brownies, and chocolate covered frozen bananas for sale! Thanks Taryn! You're a Star!!
