Another great purchase @ Pepper Tree Sausage House in Albany, OR. ! We stopped by after Friday breakfast and were delighted to see several sausage options in stock. We purchased a pack of Jalapeño sausage, Garlic Mustard sausage, and 2 New York Strips for about $40. We have since eaten them all and they were delicious! We would definitely buy the Jalapeño sausages again and leave room to try the many other options, including their ground beef. It's probably the smallest restaurant I've ever been inside of, bordering a food truck in size. But what it lacks in stature, it more than makes up for in snackture. I had their smoked ham & eggs w/ potatoes. It was very good. The service was friendly (the owner was cooking/greeting/telling stories), the food was very satisfying, and the bill was reasonable. Unless you happen to be the first ones here in the day, don't expect to sit a group of more than 8. A toasted bun is proffered and it is suggested that you apply your desired accoutrements before the final step.
