Friendly staff and even some food available. I think Interzone is a historical part of Corvallis life. I personally have been coming here since 1998. Got the Mexican mocha, and the marionberry spice cake. The cake tasted homemade. I'm not sure if it was. But it was absolutely delicious. I got it to go but ended up eating most of it while I waited on the mocha. The mocha was good as well. Great place to read or hop on the laptop. read more

I had an excellent experience hanging out here on a Monday morning, love the local neighborhood vibes of this place and while some people complain about the repurposed table and chairs, I don't really mind, it feels home-y. I ordered a poppy seed bagel w/ cream cheese and side of scrambled eggs, can't really do wrong with that, and a blackberry lemonade. All very standard and satisfying. Not going to complain about the price because it's a local coffee shop and if I really wanted to save money I'd make my breakfast at home. It also seems like they're generous and offer free food to some local folks who are down on their luck, just based on some convo I overheard at the counter. Arguably the best breakfast I have ever eaten. Where do I begin? The local art on the walls, community events pasted on the walls n windows, the friendly knowledgable customer service! You wont find anything more local than this spot. The competition should just pack it up and move to another city. The bagels were cooked so evenly and the cream cheese complimented it perfectly! The food is fine, mids to be honest. The customer service is so offensive it's insane. Everytime I enter this shop the people serving make me feel like an inconvenience and have a poor attitude. They get orders wrong and act like its my fault they put it in wrong when i placed the order. If i wanted a coffee from someone who hates me I can just ask my roommates. The seating is also super weird, there arent enough single tables so one person will take up a large table so all the tables will be taken when there are seriously like 6 people there dining in. read more

I got there coco coffee and it was so good! :) I loved the taste of coconut in the coffee. Loved the bagels they have, we got a sun dried tomato bagel and it was pretty good and we also split a burrito which was good as well. Super cute and feel good place. Interzone is so much more than a good place to have coffee. Interzone displays beautiful local, and often alternative, art. They create a culture of personal expression that I can not find other places. It gives a place for people who might not feel welcome other places to chill. Their customers, including myself, are extremely loyal and come often. There is no better place to relax, do homework, read, write, talk to interesting new folks, or have a philosophical debate. They even have some guitars and a ukulele available if you feel like making some music. Food and Drinks: I have eaten my way through a good portion of food available at interzone and have been very pleased. The waffle is perfectly cooked and not over encumbered with sweetness. If you like really sweet drinks you will need to specify what you want. Everything is organic and made for you to taste what you order. Ex. If you order a drink with coffee expect to taste the coffee. If you want a sweeter drink at interzone I would suggest the white mocha (maybe even add some lavender when you are at it). Coffee 5-stars $6 bagel sandwich on a busy morning *just don't* We showed up and were the only customers. We had a time limit, but allowed ourselves 30min to order/eat bagel sandwiches. Coffee is self serve and delish! There was a small rush of drink orders soon after. The cashier was also making all of the drinks. The person in the back was bringing baked goods out 1 pan at a time. After 20 minutes and several customers later, we asked about our bagel sandwiches. They forgot about our order *sadness* We had to get our son back asap. They claimed the sandwiches were already started and almost done *sigh*. I returned to our table and then we saw the guy from the back come to the front and grab our bagels and put them in the toaster up front. minutes later... We had 3 not so toasted bagels, soggy on the inside with mediocre tasting i wet ingredients *very disappointing*. NOT worth the 25min wait or the $6/sandwich price *never again* To prioritize drink orders over 1st come, 1st serve is not ok. Forgetting our food order, then preparing it w/o effort was worse. I would come here for the coffee/drinks again and again, BUT I would pass on any prepared food. Food items are NOT worth the time or the price point. Coffee is definitely their thing! read more

We are visiting our daughter in Corvallis. Our son is 12 years old and has Down Syndrome. Our son loves bagels and was excited to go inside Interzone and get his bagel with cream cheese. Our son Ashton has his service dog Bear with him. As soon as we walk in the door.. we were rudely ask to take our sons service pet outside. We kindly stated that he is Ashton's service dog. The girl behind the counter says to us... Oh well Service Dog!!!. They had no signs stating that dogs, Service Pets, or any animals were not welcome. Nothing was displayed... This was heartbreaking for my son who does not understand ugly people such as the 2 girls behind the counter today. read more

My husband and I stopped here this Saturday morning on the way home from the coast. Let me say up front we thought YELP made a mistake, because it looks like a coffee/ tea shop. We were so glad we came in! I am a gluten free vegan, he is not. He ordered a jalapeño bagel sandwich. The bagel itself was the best he has had in years, made me wish I wasn't gluten free, because it was vegan. The fried egg, avocado, sundried tomato sandwich was delicious. I had a Mediterranean scramble, without the egg of course. Great grilled veggies, artichoke hearts and greek olives. It came with homemade vegan sausage, the best I've ever tasted. Since I am gluten free they added fresh grilled corn tortillas. We both wish we lived closer, we would be regulars! Oh, and the tea was great too, a lot of really great choices. read more

Slowest service ever makes this a one-star establishment, regardless of the food. I ordered two bagel sandwiches and waited over 20 minutes for them to come out... Ridiculous! I can't imagine how that works during school, if hungry students come in before class and wind up waiting forever for their food. And they weren't toasted, which is weird for a bagel sandwich (I'm accustomed to most places toasting their bagels for sandwiches). Furthermore, one bagel was significantly larger than the other, by nearly 50 percent. This makes zero sense to me, as the counter display bagels were all the same size. Taste-wise, the bagel sandwiches were decent. The fried egg was seasoned aggressively, making it quite yummy. The ingredients on the whole were pretty fresh, too. The tomato was a little on the pink side, making it less flavorful than I like to see, but that may be just an effect of the season. I didn't try the coffee or tea, as I already had a beverage, but the coffee and tea selections looked quite extensive. I noticed that lots of people went with the iced coffee. It's nice that they have organic coffee and tea options here. If I were to come back (a big if, given the slow service), I'd probably try some of the beverages out. read more

When I stepped in the door I honestly thought I was in Eugene! There were a lot of hippies there. But, overall the service was great and the atmosphere was comfortable. I hung out for an hour and I was not treated rudely by staff for "overstaying my welcome" or anything like that. And the coffee was really good, I got a cardamom honey latte that was yummy! Also I ordered the pesto veggie omelette and I licked my plate! I ate every single crumb! Staff needs education on ADA guidelines regarding service animals. We were asked if our dog was a service animal, which he is, and we answered yes. Completely appropriate for staff to ask the question. Then they began to escalate and continued to challenge, which was inappropriate and also very embarrassing to be called out in front of others. Finally the staff wound down a bit but continued to mutter under their breath. A person with a disability has a protected right to a service animal. Staff either has not been trained properly or does not care. While not in a wheelchair, I notice that Interzone's space, and the restroom in particular, would not be easily accessible for a wheelchair. I have to conclude that people with disabilities are not welcome at Interzone. Accomodating a person with a disability is not optional. It is the law. The coffee is good here. read more
