I always enjoy my latte here. I've also tried out their sweet and creamy cold brew (a little too sweet but as a treat it was great!) and their cortado which are both solid. My go to dish is usually the acai bowl. Plenty of textures, flavors, and a good amount of sour and sweet that makes it's perfectly balanced. The only downside is that the spoons that are provided are a little big for the bowl that you are given, so you are bound to spill a little bit. The Mexican bowl is okay, but not quite my personal preference since there is more of a curry taste to it. Overall come and give Bodhi a try! read more

I have enjoyed eating at Bodhi Bistro, so I had high hopes for my meal and the ambiance at Bodhi Cafe and Bakery. It didn't disappoint! Though busy on a Wednesday afternoon (it was the day before Thanksgiving after all), we found a table and had a great meal. I loved my latte and biscuits and gravy! Everything was tastefully presented and had wonderful flavors. The portion sizes aren't too big, so don't expect a huge meal. I found the biscuits and gravy to be filling for a brunch, but someone with a bigger appetite might want to opt for something more substantial. The staff did a great job getting many orders out in a fairly short amount of time, and based on my meal, they weren't sacrificing quality in the process. The cafe norms are pretty standard for a seat-yourself cafe where you order at the counter, pick up your food at the counter, and bus your own table. The ambiance is the best part of this cafe. They do a great job of creating a cozy and atheistic environment. The food is also extremely high quality and gives the impression of everything being fresh and local. Sometimes I struggling buying a meal out, because I know the quality is not good/healthy for me. At Bodhi, this has never been a concern of mine. Going to bodhi feels like an act of self care. I have been going here for the past four years and everything I have had on the menu is delicious. They have a variety of self-serve sauces to add to your meal and creamer/sweeteners for your coffee. Also, their menu is pretty extensive for just being a "cafe" . It's a little bread heavy, but provides options for those who are gluten-free. Normally the portions are relatively filling. This location is downtown Corvallis, but parking is not bad. Recommended by our Airbnb host and I'm hear to spread the word. Bodhi Café has a designated parking lot and free street parking in the surrounding area. We easily found a parking spot on a Friday afternoon. The café has plenty of indoor and outdoor patio seating. Based on our cravings, everything sounded delicious, however we went with the Buttermilk Benny, Oregon Tuna Melt, Acai Bowl, and the Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar. I'm a sucker for a good Tuna Melt and Bodhi nailed it. The sourdough bread and the fresh tuna salad made me a happy camper. The Buttermilk Benny is a hearty, comfort meal. They aren't kidding around with their thick sliced ham. I almost ran out of room for the Acai Bowl, which was sweet and loaded with fresh berries and toppings. We enjoyed the Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar to-go which makes for the perfect sweet treat for the road. The café is a great place to study with the natural light coming through the windows and the bright atmosphere. I would be here every day if I lived in the neighborhood. read more

Been here 3 times today an this place is popular! Started the day with a 16oz mint latte and acai bowl. The latte was piping hot with whole milk and not too sweet. Served in a giant mug. It was so good and hit the spot to help start my morning. The acai bowl is lovely ... topped with toasted coconut flakes, Bodhi granola which is hearty, fully of seeds, nuts and other goodies, had 2 types of berries - blueberries and blackberries and loaded up with honey. Its a little messy due to the amount of honey, but that didn't stop me from eating it all up. The spoons at the cafe are quiet large ... more like a big big soup spoon so that was a slight challenge to dive into the bowl (it's a paper bowl even when ordering for there) that the toasted coconuts, granola and honey overflow out when you take the first scoop. I'm late to the game, but I'm finally reviewing Bodhi. I stopped in for an Açaí bowl once, and it was good, but nothing substantial or impressive. I decided lunch was going to be my sit-down experience, and we headed over at 11am right as it switched from breakfast to lunch on a Wednesday. The line formed immediately behind us. We felt lucky to be at the front. They are busy. Repeat. They are always busy. You order at the counter, and they call your name over a loud speaker when it's time to pick up your food. I'm sure the switch of menus at 11am created a lag in ordering. We waited in line until someone came back to help us. I'm telling y'all that because patience is important when eating out. It's a lot of work to run a cafe, and they were doing it and doing it well! The staff was friendly and recommended a delicious chocolate peanut butter bar for us to nosh while we waited on our food. I think it was even gluten-free, but ask next time if that is a must for you. I'm not a huge fan of "order at the bar" but sitting outside on their patio is worth it. It is cozy and feels like you're in a different town. We bathed in the sun next to some plants and pretended to be on vacation. It was lovely. Oddly enough, our food order came up first. The drinks were ready about 3 minutes after, so that was weird. I guess it happens, but that's something staff should try to avoid. My date had a bloody Mary and I had a gin fizz. We both agreed that they are not bartenders so we will skip cocktails next time. The food was on point. I had the tempeh reuben, and I've been thinking about when I can go back to get it. I'm already planning for this week because it was that tasty. The tempeh was flavorful, and they used just enough sauerkraut so the bread didn't get smooshy. Oh, and that sourdough bread was divine. They must have an amazing baker in house. Next time I'm going to order a side of the dressing as extra to dip my sandwich in, but it was still the best I've had in a long time. I could only eat half because it was so big and I had the other half at home for supper. It heated up well as leftovers. I will note that you can have vegan cheese too but I got the traditional, and it was melty Heaven. My date had a seitan style cheesesteak. She absolutely loved it and she did have hers vegan. Both came with a simple side salad that wasn't special but a nice addition. I'm excited to get back here and the only thing that really needs attention is more table runs to wipe and clean up. I think it's hard when restaurants are still so understaffed these days but with counter service, you still need someone doing frequent runs. We had a fantastic experience and just wiped our own table with stuff from our purse. I highly recommend this neighborhood delight. read more

When asking for a to go box, they acted a bit upset at me and told me to use the paper plate and foil combo for a "to go". My food did not fit in the tiny plate. Enjoyed a recent return visit to Bodhi Cafe, in downtown Corvallis. Good expresso drinks, baked goods and bread, and a-okay breakfast and cafe items to be enjoyed here. I was not a huge fan of the Bodhi scramble this visit, which was too acidic and vinegary, but the breakfast sandwich on a bagel with egg, cheese and bacon was a simple, solid rendition. Our recent visit here was unexpectedly chaotic from a service perspective and we waited almost forty minutes for our order on a busy Sunday. We enjoy coming here and love their fresh baked bread and homemade granola and croissants, however we found the service experience can be quite bumpy on the weekends. read more

"Oh my goodness", you've got to come here... Right here and right now..it's that amazing!!! From the time you step into Bodhi's, you are transformed into the most hip cafe ever. Music from all of my favorite genres and artists was playing in the background (think 70's, 80's and 90's music from Village People to Bee Gee's to Michael Jackson, and beyond..). An extensive menu awaits you for enjoying carefully hand-crafted sandwiches, soups, salads, pastries, granola, drinks, etc. Each item is truly unique from any bakery/cafe that I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. Staff is friendly and very hospitable. Think of the TV show "Friends" and coming home after a long day at work or school and Bodhi's is the pick me up we all need to have in our lives. Great bakery cafe! Visited recently and enjoyed some unusual coffee drinks and one of their breakfast sandwiches. The setting is very cool and funky. I tried their Mexican latte, which was described as being similar to Mexican Hot Chocolate, with espresso. It has some of the cinnamon and chocolate flabors, but seemed to be entirely sugar free. It was a little bitter for me, I should have just added some sugar in hindsight. A nice change from the major coffee chains and their sugar bombs I suppose. I also sampled a breakfast sandwich which was like avocado toast with bacon and a fried egg. It was good, but the amount of avocado was insane, it was an entire large fruit. That came with a nice side salad. When we visited on a weekend morning it was very busy, so come early or prepare for a line. read more

We decided to do Doordash this morning. We got Biscuits and gravy that is homemade buttermilk biscuits, local Carlton Farms sausage and mushroom gravy, garnished with paprika and green onions. Super cute cafe spot -- perfect for a college town! The interior was filled with colorful artwork, flowers, and plants. I can definitely see myself spending a few hours working here. When we stepped up to order, the server told us it would be 30-45 minute wait for food, but we weren't in a rush so we ordered anyway. We got a London Fog (earl grey tea latte with vanilla syrup) and a Here Comes The Sun (honey lavender latte) which were ready in a few minutes. The London Fog filled me with nostalgia for college when this was my goto cafe drink. I've had my fair share of good and bad ones, but this one was well made: milky and sweet but not overly so. The latte was far too lavender-y for my liking, but my sister quite enjoyed it. For food, we got an açaí bowl, the Bodhi scramble, the problem solver sandwich, and the açaí oh my smoothie. To our disappointment, the smoothie came out with the food which took over an hour to be prepared. I don't know if this is usually how long things take -- it was Labor Day weekend around 1pm -- but the wait was a bit unreasonable for a cafe. Luckily, the food hit the spot when it did arrive. I'm a big fan of sourdough, and the thick slices topped with pesto scrambled eggs, tomato, and goat cheese in the Bodhi scramble were a delicious pairing. The side salad wasn't very exciting, but ended up being a good complement to the powerful flavors in the scramble. All in all -- good food, but not sure if it was worth the long wait. I would come back for drinks, but only order food if it's a less busy day. read more

I ordered via DoorDash a Ham & Cheese Stuffed Croissant, a Mexi Mocha and a Double Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookie. The Mocha and the Cookie were good however I wanted something savory and clearly stated that the croissant was to be ham and cheese stuffed. I got a pastry stuffed with chocolate! There are two locations. I went to the Bhodi on First and it was outstanding. Lots of delicious sandwiches, salads, and breakfast foods, and they make their own bread. The First Street location is large, with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly. I got a smoked salmon salad and it was delicious--fresh, local greens and goat cheese and smoked salmon and it was meal-sized. They also let me order a side of bread, which was the perfect addition. My friend got a carnitas breakfast burrito and it was also tasty (I had a bite.) The only thing I didn't like was my green juice was $10, but besides that, prices were reasonable.
