While I can see the owner's point of view (maximizing profits, minimizing hassles, etc.), my view as a consumer is that, gosh, maybe customer service isn't your forte. In a sea of ticky-tacky stores in the Bayside section of Lincoln City, The Cyber Garden looks like a nice place to hangout. It is spacious and had a bit of an environmental 70s vibe going on when I visited. The two policies that bugged me... -- $2 charge for wi-fi -- no change smaller than a quarter for payment The first one just struck me as odd in this day and age. There are so many places where you get free wi-fi, it just seemed out of place. And the second is just silly. My coffee was fine and the best part of the experience was the name of my drink, the Johnny Cash. Their house blend with a shot of espresso. The problem was the rest of the experience left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I live in Lincoln City and have just started going to Cyber Garden. It is my escape from the hustle…read moreand bustle of work, traffic and stress. As soon as I walk in, I smell the aroma of coffee and tea, hear the lovely music, and see the beautiful global decorations; and any stress instantly melts away. I order tea or coffee from the friendly and helpful staff, then go to the back garden area to listen to the bubbling fountain and feel completely at peace. I don't understand the bad reviews. Maybe it is because tourists just want to use the internet and get angry very easily for some reason... I think if you go in there and are grateful that the staff have made such a beautiful environment and that they put a lot of work into making your order, you will receive excellent service. Of course if you are impatient and rude, they may not be as happy to serve you. Just my opinion, after working at a store in town and seeing how some tourists treat local businesses. I know how rude people can be, and I still have to keep that smile on my face and say thank you! There is going to be a vegan/vegetarian restaurant coming to the building in the next couple weeks. I am an omnivore but very much look forward to trying some tasty treats there! I think the bottom line is this. If you want a relaxing experience in a gorgeous garden, go to Cyber Garden and have some tea that is carefully prepared and sweetly served. On the other hand if you are impatient and cranky and just want internet, I'd rather not have you in my favorite coffee shop, there are other places to get internet. This garden is incredibly special.

The gentleman waiter who has worked at The Coffee House for many years was so welcoming to us. He walked our first time diners through the menu expressing his favorites and top picks. He put huge smiles on their faces with his descriptions of sauces, etc. Everyone loved what they ordered. I, of course, cannot get enough of the side grilled fish. So delicious and pairs excellent with a mimosa! Excited for their outdoor seating to open up this summer and we hope a few tables remain uncovered so I can work on my tan! Love you Coffee House!

We lucked out and arrived right as the largest table in the tiny place was finishing up so we got a table that comfortably fit the six of us. The waiter was super nice and helpful, especially since we started out saying we needed three checks. I ended up getting something I used to get years ago and was thrilled to see that they still had: pan-fried Yaquina Bay oysters and eggs, along with the homemade biscuit. Love that they have homemade bread and bread their own oysters and fish. I was worried that this place wouldn't be as good as it was when I used to go there 12 years ago with the new owners but it was as good as ever. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the waiter was super kind and funny. Love to see this place still thriving.

I always enjoy my latte here. I've also tried out their sweet and creamy cold brew (a little too sweet but as a treat it was great!) and their cortado which are both solid. My go to dish is usually the acai bowl. Plenty of textures, flavors, and a good amount of sour and sweet that makes it's perfectly balanced. The only downside is that the spoons that are provided are a little big for the bowl that you are given, so you are bound to spill a little bit. The Mexican bowl is okay, but not quite my personal preference since there is more of a curry taste to it. Overall come and give Bodhi a try!

Though busy on a Wednesday afternoon (it was the day before Thanksgiving after all), we found a table and had a great meal. I loved my latte and biscuits and gravy! Everything was tastefully presented and had wonderful flavors. The portion sizes aren't too big, so don't expect a huge meal. I found the biscuits and gravy to be filling for a brunch, but someone with a bigger appetite might want to opt for something more substantial. The staff did a great job getting many orders out in a fairly short amount of time, and based on my meal, they weren't sacrificing quality in the process. The cafe norms are pretty standard for a seat-yourself cafe where you order at the counter, pick up your food at the counter, and bus your own table. I found Bodhi Cafe and Bakery to be exactly what I needed, and look forward to returning.
