With several options to order 12 to be exact, there are many options to choose from. Ordered the #7 & 8 and split with the wife. The curry is subtle but prevalent to know your getting curry. The lemongrass beef is distinct and for me a better choice than the curry. Of course in true Bon Mi fashion, the baguette bread is fantastic and worth the food. For me the real stars were the steamed pork and bbq buns. Don't miss this, and even order a couple as your lunch delight. I've never tried a traditional Vietnamese sandwich before so this was my first time, and I was definitely not disappointed. I got the BBQ pork baguette with a Thai tea, mmm so delicious! We came in on a Friday night, fairly busy. Weekends they are closed so if you wanna try this place you'll have to come on a weekday. Everyone was very friendly and order came out fast. Although prices on their Banh mi has gone up since COVID times, the sandwiches themselves have stayed consistently well made. This place rules! Very rarely do I go somewhere and feel absolutely blown away by the food and service. Also, the prices are super reasonable. The owner(s?) of this place are incredibly friendly and have the most infectious smiles. I visited for lunch twice in one week while staying out in Corvallis for work. The sandwiches, service, and speed of this place are all incredible. Even when it was a little busy one of the times my sandwich was ready within maybe 2 minutes. I had the sautéed chicken sandwich both times. So, I can't really speak on the other options, but I'll be sure to try something else next time. The lemongrass beef seems to be popular. This is one of those rare restaurants that perfectly executes within its niche. It is my favorite lunch spot in Corvallis and I highly recommend to anyone. read more

Corvallis is so lucky to have this banh mi spot! We got a BBQ pork and a beef lemongrass and both were delicious. The bread has a delightful crunch and they came with a good amount of meat. The bbq pork is cold cut and the beef lemongrass was warm, so pick based on what you prefer! The latter was a bit more flavorful so I'd recommend that first. We also got a canned mango drink which was super mango-y but not too sweet -- probably one of the best mango drinks I've ever had so I will be keeping an eye out for it in my local grocery store! It seemed to be a pretty popular lunch spot, but the line wasn't too long and moved quickly. After ordering, we only had to wait a few minutes for our sandwiches. read more

Wonderful Corvallis staple, super freindly owners and nice clean establishment. I had the Lemongrass Beef, Shrimp and Pork Salad Rools and two BBQ Pork Boa buns. The light, airy baguette with nice crunchy crust is the foundation, great floavor from beef and the lemongrass is there but doesn't overpower the other flavors from the fresh lighlty pickled veggies, great balance. Warm soft boa buns with BBQ pork are SO Good and the shrimp and pork salad rolls and peanut sauce were solid. read more

Okay this is a fantastic place and I love them, I could be wrong. However, 2-3 hours after consuming original baguette I encountered a rough evening battling food poisoning. Please be careful, I'll probably eat there again but figured I'd let people know in case. FDA has put ALOT of cuts in testing the safety of food and tracking food borne illnesses. read more

Absolutely amazing. While the portions are smaller than the traditional Bahn mi, the prices are still reasonable. I had #1 the original with no jalapeños ($6.50) and it tasted authentic! The pickled veggies were lightly sweet, crisp, and refreshing. The meats brought body to the sandwich and the paté was salty and creamy. One sandwich was enough to fill me up but I have a small stomach, so if you are a big eater I recommend getting 2 sandwiches. read more

I've had this spot on my list of must-visits for a while and finally checked it out! Coming from the 626 and 714, I'd say my standards for Banh mi's and banh bao's are set pretty high. The banh mi at Baguette is pretty on par with what you can expect at traditional Vietnamese banh mi spots. A good spread of pate and mayo, a hefty amount of pickled daikon and carrots, lots of cilantro, and a decent amount of cha. The only difference in this Banh mi is that there's a sort of fish sauce/spicy sauce in the baguette, which I'm not used to with other Banh mi's. The pickled vegetables are also not as pickled as other traditional Vietnamese spots. But, overall, it still tasted great. I was really impressed with the banh bao. I ordered the pork with quail egg bao, and one bite instantly reminded me of home. The filling is very well seasoned, and the bao is so soft and fluffy. I'd say the bun, itself, was better than the buns I've had back home because of how fluffy it is. Love this spot, and I now know where to go when I'm missing a taste of home. read more

This is a great little Bang Mi sandwich shop in the heart of downtown Corvallis. Very clean and nicely decorated. The owner was super nice and friendly and accommodated our requests. When I think of Banh Mi sandwiches, I think of all the times my parents bought it for me during my elementary school trips. I think of all the times we ate it during the car on the way to Vegas. I think of all the times we snuck it into Universal Studios and Disneyland. Baguette's Banh Mi sandwiches instantly take me back to those times. The toasted bread, the pickled carrots, the cucumber, the cilantro, jalapeños but MOST importantly, the pork pate!!! Since I moved to Corvallis 9 months ago, we went here at least 2 times a month. We always get the same thing I get when I was a kid. The cold cut original Chả lụa (Viet Ham); It is a sort of pork sausage with a fishy umami taste. Now I also lean toward the Daring, which has head cheese. It has this jelly like texture that is OH so good. I also heard that their beef lemongrass and other sandwiches are just as good. On the side note, I usually get some sort of side dish such as the spring rolls, pork buns, or Vietnamese ice coffee. They are pretty good but the star of the show are their Banh Mi sandwiches. Corvallis should be proud to have such great Banh Mi sandwiches in town. read more

I went here a few months ago. Had the beef curry sandwich. Hm. What is all the hype about? The service was very pleasant. The food was fine. Went back today and had the sautéed chicken sandwich and beef soup. Oh, YUM. Sandwich was much tastier to me than the beef. Thought the soup was a bit overpriced for having frozen vegetables in it like you'd give to a preschooler- cubed carrots, cut green beans, Lima beans, corn, but WoW.
