Have been coming here for years, twice a year on trip to and from CA. This was the first time we noticed how little meat was on the sandwich. The sandwich maker also used to do everything within view and now has some sort of screen. For example, on my Traditional, there may have at most been one full thin slice of each meat stretched and broken over the sandwich. They also wrap it before you can see it and many are taken to go, so no one sees til later. At about $13 per sandwich average they could do better. read more

Nice sub shop off I-5. Around noon on a Sunday there is a slight wait. Typical options from turkey, roast beef, Italian, and more. We order a chicken salad off the specials on French bread and turkey bacon on wheat, select some chips and fountain drink, pay, and seat ourselves. Service is friendly and to the point. Wheat roll is falling apart for some reason, but aside from that we're pleasantly surprised by the construction of the sandwiches. Perfect portions, flavor is good, ingredients taste fresh. I was in the mood for a salad and to my surprise, they had a Caesar and even offer SHRIMP, grilled or breaded chicken as protein additions!! There was an option to add spinach to the Romaine lettuce along with any other veggies, including diced, pickled beets (my favorite) and mixed micro-greens!! Along with the delicious, fresh salad, I asked for a piece of garlic bread and the entire thing just hit the spot!! The service was given with smiling/happy professional employees; thank you, all!! This is a pleasant little deli style place with bright lighting and decor. The staff are friendly and polite. We hit it right about mid lunch and while it was busy the line moved steadily. I ordered the Golden Club and a bowl of chowder. The lady ordered the antipasto salad. Like most sub stores we got to customize our items with veg and meats. The selection was good with some interesting options such as smoked swiss cheese and sweet pickled peppers... I particularly enjoyed my sandwich. It was more than I could eat in one sitting. The chowder was passable but not the best I've ever had. It was more like a potato soup with some clams... it was tasty anyway. The lady enjoyed her salad and found it to be quite filling and satisfying. Expect to spend about $15 per person with drinks and chips and such. love this place! went here for the first time a few days ago, i appreciated the staff that provided friendly and well informed service. will be returning next time i'm in the area and want to go get something to eat offers healthier options! i ordered the mango habanero special as a wrap, and was given the option of a spinach wrap (which i was excited about)!! love that it's kind of subway style in the way that you get to pick all of your veggies, if you want it toasted or not, etc. note: a full sized sandwich is very large, my full wrap was the size of the half-sandwich that my friend ordered and it was a good amount of food for us! read more

Stopped here to get a couple of sandwiches during a road trip. My wife got a veggie sub that she really liked. It was fresh, stuffed and delicious. I got the Italian grinder with some added veggies. The sandwich was really good but missed one solid element that makes a great grinder, the crunchy bread. It was "toasted" but didn't hit the spot. A good grinder has that crispy crunchy crust on the bread and a fluffy interiors that's soaking up all the juices and sauces. I actually saved half my sandwich, took it home and threw it in the air fryer for a minute the next day and it was so much nicer. The staff is extremely friendly, the portions are huge for the price and the food quality is really good. I would love to see them nail the toasting on the bread to take these sandwiches from good to great. read more

I adore this place! Today along with my primo sammie, I learned names and met Zach, Lindsay, Savannah, Cami, and Chrissy (the boss lady). They have the best add-in to the sandwiches and my new fav is their own house pickled/brine peppers (so delish). So if you get a hankering for a sammie and want sweet and patient people to help you out by making you the best; then head down and have fun trying to decide. I pass through Albany frequently and I'm always disappointed that the only quick food options seem to be fast food chains. I found No Baloney today and I'm so excited. The food is delicious, the quality is great, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We got a bacon egg grinder and a buffalo chicken grinder. They have a huge selection of cheeses and toppings I saw some "spendy" reviews and want to say compared to any other place this is not expensive, especially for what you get: We got three cookies, and essentially three sandwiches (1 whole and 1 half) for only 18 dollars. At Taco Bell or McDonald's you're spending at least that to feel "full" and I guarantee you're not getting quality food like this place offers. Definitely worth it! read more

People should be very aware that this business is refusing to comply with the mask mandate. Absolutely amazing!! Came here with my team (about 25 people) after we got denied service at Panera. The employees were incredibly friendly and the service was incredibly fast despite there being a lunch rush. 10/10 would go here again if I lived here. The food is absolutely delicious too!! The customer service is a little dry, but the food is good. I'm still able to give 5 stars despite how lacking in personality the staff is, as I worked at a sandwich station for two years when I first started working and it sucked out my soul as well. I always get the same thing, a buffalo chicken wrap, extra saucy. My boyfriend gets something with roast beef on most occasions. Finally tried this place. The staff are friendly and attentive. Toppings are same as you would get at any sandwich shop. I didn't really care for the bun, it was kind of heavy for me. But that was my fault as I didn't know I could have gotten Italian bread. So I'll own that part. All in all, prices are decent and so are their sandwiches. read more

I've been coming here for about 3 years, always enjoyed the quality and quantity of the menu. Stopped by yesterday and was very disappointed in how they've changed. My sandwich was 1/3 of the normal size of bread and 1/2 the meat. My husband always gets the overload and it was not much bigger than my half grinder. It looked it had 1/2 the meat in it as well. We stopped by No Baloney on our way out of Corvallis on a hot day. The staff was very friendly and the owner/manager was working behind the counter too with great enthusiasm. Reading the other reviews, we were encouraged to get any sandwich that boasted No Baloney's special garlic spread that is put in the bread before toasting, essentially producing a garlic bread sandwich and boy does it work well. They do not use a lot of meat though you can pay for double meat. This, I do not mind, I like my subs light on the meat. The quality of cuts are pretty darn good. They have a huge bar of toppings you can add to your basic sub. From the traditional lettuce all the way up to chopped eggs. Designer subs for sure. We ordered the basic Italian and the special of the day which was a BBQ pulled pork with sweet and spicy sauce. I liked the Italian and loved the toasted garlic bread it was on with the chipotle mayo that the sandwich designer recommended. The bread was crusty and chewy which was awesome. That BBQ sandwich was so tasty. I would not say that the meat was of exceptional quality but it tasted very good. I found myself ignoring my Italian to sneak bites of the Special BBQ sub. I will certainly go back. The customer service was quick and friendly, every sandwich is 100% custom made to your liking, and the daily specials are intriguing. I went in on Thursday. I ordered a turkey pesto sandwich and a turkey sandwich. They asked what kind of cheese and I said cheddar on both. They asked what I wanted on the pesto sandwich and I said Mayo and lettuce. The asked what I wanted on the turkey and I said Mayo mustard and lettuce. I texted my husband and told him I was bringing him a pesto turkey sandwich. He was really happy. When I got home I checked the sandwiches and they were both the same. No pesto on my husbands. He was really dissatisfiEd. The sandwiches were not that great either. I could have done better at home. So much for this place. Won't be back. read more

I tried this place out based on positive reviews and I was disappointed. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and it was mediocre at best. The lettuce was dry and the dressing and chicken were bland. I hate wasting food and I actually threw half the salad away instead of taking it home. The way the store is setup is confusing. There was nobody in line and I went up to the register. When I started to place my order, I was told to go to the back part of the store. By this point, somebody else had come in and I had to wait about 10 minutes before I was able to order. Something was also wrong with the soda machine. The Coke Zero Sugar tasted nothing like what it is supposed - it had a grape (or some fruity) flavor to it. The one positive is that the tables and bathrooms were very clean. read more

I work for a local home builder in Albany and I wanted buy my Construction guys sandwiches for lunch. I was totally not paying attention to time and I showed up an hour before they opened and I was so bummed thinking I was going to have to go to Subway, but one of the girls came out and said 'no problem, we'll get them for you!'
