This place has such a nice romantic atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and give exceptional service. The food is delicious. Everything hits! The food is fresh, nothing tastes like it came from the freezer. The seafood fettuccine is packed with seafood. It's our new date night spot.

I pictured a cultivated dish made with thought and care for the price I paid. Instead I got something not fully cooked and slapped together. So that was a bummer. I placed my order and it was forgotten about. When I came to pay, there was time spent figuring out how much I needed to be charged, meaning was the special more expensive than a normal meal. I was pretty flabbergasted at that since the staff acknowledged their mistake with my food not being ready. I should've told them to disregard the order and left without food, but I really wanted a pick-me-up. If you're not local and you're reading this, go somewhere else. McMinnville as far better to offer at Crescent Cafe and The Diner. You may pay as much but you'll get such a better product, often crafted from local seasonal products. It's worth the wait (if there is one). Heck, go to iHop before this place. Same quality, but at least kids eat free there.

What can about The Squeaky Cork.... except YES, PLEASE!!!…read more We wandered in for a pre dinner drink since we were early for my BF's birthday rez down the street and oh my gosh am i glad we did!! This has to be one of the coolest places in Albany! Decorated perfectly and cozy enough to feel like everyone is your neighbor! We only had apps (charcuterie) and drinks (he had a stout, i had a whiskey sour - have it made with shanky's whip and thank me later!!). The board had such a variety on it, we weren't sure where to start! and the drinks..... well, they are the well paved road to alcoholism!! I cannot wait to go back here and try the other food! Hopefully the same guy is there to greet us, because he was the friendliest little man this side of the wilamette!!

Everything about this place is cool, hospitable, warm and inviting. My oldest kid had a chili dog, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We also ordered the shepherd's pie and a kids charcuterie board. Both were chef's kiss. The Squeaky Cork houses a full bar, and the spirit selection was quite impressive (particularly the Scotch). The wait staff and bartender were so pleasant and accommodating. No pretension, just good vibes. We appreciated the coloring books and crayons for our little ones as did the more grown-up fare on the kids menu. As a finale to a fun dining experience, the check was brought to us in a Scottish vintage hardcover book, pretty sweet! This eatery was definitely a highlight of our travels. It embodies a community pub vibe, that's for sure.

The dressings were very good (I wanted more!) and I like the grain with the massaged kale. My mom is a big fan of their açaí bowls. They have a variety of toppings and other smoothie bowls to choose from. They also have a nice selection of toasts, bagel sandwiches, and salads (which I plan on trying next time). Our one hiccup was with getting our food in a timely fashion. Even when it doesn't seem that busy, food might take a while, so plan accordingly. We had a tough time when one in our party tried to order a waffle. They tried making it twice but it burned or didn't come out right. They said they were taking it off the menu and offered something else but it did put a hitch in our experience. The food is good and fresh and we will continue to come back. Probably just not when we're in a time crunch.

We had tried an açaí bowl while traveling and couldn't get enough. We walk in and the shop has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, soft overhead music with plenty of comfortable tables and chairs. Looking over the menus we see they offer smoothies, soups, lattes, teas, oatmeals.... Check out the menu pics. Everything here looks to be organic, natural and, of course, unrefined. We both ordered the Bliss bowl. It has a satisfying granola crunch from the toppings. There are also huge blueberries and fresh cut banana. This was a satisfying and healthy meal. The store is clean and well lit with overhead lighting and large windows. The restrooms are spacious and clean as well. The staff seem very enthusiastic and are quite familiar with their products and ingredients.
