We spent the whole meal being polite while this guy continuously made us feel uncomfortable. It's difficult to describe the way this guy was acting. The food came out and it was good, but the waiter was coming off like wise ass. At the end of the meal there were hardly any people in the restaurant. The waiter gave me the bill then waited 15 minutes to pick up my card. I guess he got his satisfaction. If there was any doubt about his intentions, when we were getting ready to leave, he kept asking me if I wanted more water. That's an asshat move. Much to my wife's dismay, I tipped him fair because that's just what you do. My daughter gained a learning experience on the nature of jerks so I suppose that's something, but overall it was a sad twist on what was supposed to be a grand event.
