If you're looking for a fun omakase experience with major party vibes -- you need to check out @sushionmenyc They just opened a brand new location in Williamsburg and it's -- a 15-course omakase with a Thai twist, unlimited sake , a lively clubby atmosphere, and an entertaining chef who keeps the energy high from start to finish. For just $99, it's a full-on omakase party with great music, amazing bites, and unforgettable vibes. Add this spot to your foodie bucket list ASAP!

We needed a boisterous omakase place to celebrate my sister's birthday. What can beat lively service, unlimited sake, and omakase with a Thai flare? Even the omakase was fun with the use of fire and smoke bombs. My favorite part was the one that came in a curry sauce. Would I come just to enjoy the omakase? Even though the omakase was good, the environment is definitely best suited for parties so you should definitely be in the right mindset.

Amazing!! Had such a great time. For the price ($100 is per person), it's a steal. Book ahead of time. It's intimate (?15 people). Such a vibe. Prepare to sing and have fun. Great music (90s, 2000s). Chat. Eat good food. Great for singles, groups, and couples. Leave the kiddos at home.

I was in New York about a month ago and we decided to try out this spot and we absolutely loved it. It was the one of the funnest times I have had at a restaurant in a while. The staff was very nice and lively. The sushi was good and fresh and I loved the unlimited sake. This is a great place to come with a group of friends to celebrate. I felt like the pricing was very reasonable for the amount of food and sake and most importantly the food was good. I would definitely recommend!

After a year of anticipation, I finally visited Sushi On Me in Williamsburg with a new friend, and it was a blast! While I concur with other Yelpers about the sake being watered down-- downing two pitchers didn't deliver the expected buzz. The sushi, unfortunately, fell short on freshness and missed the mark. Nonetheless, the overall experience was amazing, and I attribute that to the delightful company. It's the people you're with that truly make it a memorable time. I still really like going to The Jackson heights location!

If you're in the Williamsburg area, this spot is a must!!!! Such a great vibe and even though we reserved the earlier dinner spot, the staff were GREAT with such high and fun energy! In case you did not know, this spot offers an omakase style menu with all you can drink sake!!!! They definitely know how to encourage shots of sake without being pushy about it. Something to be aware though is that there are 2 carafes.. one is sake and one is water! Be careful haha Personally, I prefer when omakase's include strictly raw fish offerings but when you go to a more modern spot like Sushi on Me, you will get a mix of cooked fish and even some meat options. They did a nice job with balancing the wow factor, the quality of the food and the presentation! I also love that there is only a bar seating option so you can watch them as they create all of the dishes! To give the staff another shoutout, we went for my boyfriends birthday and they went above and beyond to make this experience such a memorable one!! Thank you!!

TLDR: Unique Omakase experience filled with modern takes on sushi favorites and endless sake. Great for a groups of 8-10 friends so you can have the whole restaurant to yourself. Vibe: 5/5. Located in the heart of Williamsburg, this is Sushi on Me's 2nd location. Similar the original, the restaurant is only comprised of the counter seating around the sushi bar. Personally, I am a fan of this setup, as Omakase style dining is best enjoyed bellied up to the bar with the chefs handing you the pieces. The U shaped sushi bar has room for 10-12 diners per seating, so this is a great option for larger groups to "takeover" the entire restaurant for an unofficial private experience. Though in order to do this, reservations are highly recommended, as Sushi on Me only has a handful of seatings each night. Service: 5/5. The staff at Sushi on Me were beyond amazing during our dinner service. My group of 6 were fortunate enough to have the whole restaurant to ourselves, so the staff comprised of 3 gave us amazing service. Each dish of the omakase was prepared right in front of us and was explained thoroughly upon serving. Sushi On Me's main appeal is the endless sake pours, which the staff made sure we took advantage of by constantly keeping our sake carafes filled to the brim. They were also engaging and funny, egging us on with each sake shot we took. Our dinner was a birthday celebration, which the staff made sure to make special by adding an additional sushi piece at the end as well as a special dessert with a "bright" presentation. Even though each dinner is supposed to be only an hour in length, we never felt rushed. The staff truly take this omakase experience to the next level. Food: 5/5. Sushi on Me offers a modern twist on the traditional omakase. The entire meal is comprised of 14-15 "courses", some being hot dishes from the kitchen and most being nigiri. The kitchen dishes ranged from flash fried fish to tuna cones to scallop crudos on the time of our visit. As for the sushi, all the usual suspects were offered during our dinner, ie. fatty tuna, sea bream, uni, fatty salmon etc. Several pieces were elevated with the use of citrus via lime zest and yuzu which was a nice touch. The menus change regularly, so there's no guarantee that what you are served one night will be the exact same a few days later. Overall, it's a solid sushi service. Was it the best sushi I have had in NYC? No, but it's a respectable experience that is further elevated from the delightful staff and party atmosphere!

Well! We had absolutely 0 idea of this style of food, and walked in completely blind. Absolutely blew me away with the atmosphere and the service delivered to us. They were extremely hilarious and a once in a lifetime experience. My favorite was delicious the white fish!

I don't get the low ratings that have been given to Williamsburg sushi on me. Is it your typical Omakase ? No. Is is more fun??? YES. I've been to both locations and I gotta say, both are killing it. While the Jackson heights spot is more hype (due to freedom to blast music), the overall vibe very much still is up in willyB. I had a fantastic date night and will a hundred percent be back to have some of the fatty tuna, yellowtail, and amberjack ;) also the fun and luvable staff. Thank you for an amazing night !!!

What a fun experience with delicious food and staff. The only downside is that an hour is not nearly enough time to throughly enjoy the food, sake, and others. It almost felt like a new dish was placed in front of us before we even had an opportunity to savor the previous dish. I gave it 3 stars because of the overall experience related to cost and time. Food was great and so was the staff but the experience they are trying to create feels really rushed which makes me reconsider if it's worth the cost.

My husband had the kaishin don, I had the Ozakaya donburi set and our girls shared the shoyu tonkatsu ramen. The fish was so incredibly fresh here and the rice was seasoned perfectly. My donburi set also came with dashi broth that the waitress later brought over to pour on top of the leftover rice in my bowl to be enjoyed at the end of the meal. The broth and rice combination was really comforting and satisfying. This dish was something I wanted to try in Japan but did not get a chance to experience when there, so I was excited to try it at Ozakaya. I was really pleasantly surprised by the ramen here as well. Although the pork could have been better/more tender, the broth was rich and seasoned so well and not too salty like other places. Last but not least, the service here was excellent and efficient. Lots of people came in and out for takeout orders so that seems to be more of the target audience. Service was quick and polite, we were there until 9:30 and they definitely seemed ready for us to be out of there before the 10PM closing time. As for the specialty rolls, there were some pretty creative options - don't shy away from seemingly odd combinations because the flavors really do work well together. I appreciated the rice:fish ratio on all the rolls, the rice was a thin layer letting the flavor of the other ingredients really come through. The plain spicy tuna roll on the other hand was filled with spicy tuna mixed with something crunchy - maybe puffed rice? It seemed to be an unnecessary filler, I would have preferred just fish. I enjoyed the Lovers Dream and Golden Sunset roll the most. While I was debating it while ordering, in hindsight I would definitely get two rolls per person, maybe more if you're really hungry.

I saw the strong Yelp reviews and decided to take the leap with a pickup order. We ordered two specialty rolls and a spicy tuna roll. The restaurant itself is smaller than I expected, so I'm glad we opted for takeout. The staff was super friendly, and we only waited a few minutes while they completed our order. The Mystic Dragon roll was the standout for me-absolutely delicious. It had a variety of textures that gave it a great mouthfeel. I think this was my favorite of the three. All the flavors complemented each other beautifully. The strawberry sauce was unexpected but surprisingly worked! I love unique flavor combinations, and this one did not disappoint. The Torched King roll was also excellent. Salmon is my go-to for sushi, and the light torching gave it a subtle smoky flavor that I loved. The yuzu chili sauce added a nice kick--really flavorful and well-balanced. The Spicy Tuna roll was a classic and, of course, delicious. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.
