I've been to many omakase places and this place is really good if you are looking for a budget omakase. $55 for 10pcs omakase. Every piece was delicious and fresh tasting. My sister is allergic to shellfish and they were able to modify some of the sushi pieces for her. I left my credit card by accident and they called me right away to let me know (they had my phone number from the reservation I made). Nice ambiance and extremely friendly and accomodating staff. Highly recommended!

A great lunch spot! When we went, the place was not busy and we sat at a table near the window. Service was excellent! The food was delicious. We ordered the Maguro platter ($21) and the Salmon Teriyaki lunch box ($18). So much food! Both dishes came with miso soup and salad. IMO, the lunch boxes are a great deal! The restaurant is airy and the decor modern.

Sushi was really good, but service was a bit slow and it was strange because we were basically the only table there that night. The vibe was nice, though.

First time visiting Ki Sushi and loved it! Great place fore date night, very classy and chill ambiance. We came on a Saturday night right at 5pm when they reopened for dinner service. What we ordered: Salmon tartar $18 (topped with caviar and gold flakes. Definitely very fancy and tasted good too. My husband wasn't a fan of it though.) Chirashi $37 (very nicely done! Had a great variety of sashimi of great quality and freshness. Gave a side of miso soup or salad) Salmon avocado hand rolls $10 (the Salmon was so fresh and the hand roll had a good amount of Salmon, they don't skimp!) Salmon avocado Maki roll $10 Fashion Roll $22 (we weren't a fan of this one) Service was great and attentive! Timely refill of waters and tea. They don't take Discover credit cards :( I'd recommend them for a nice night out!!

Their omakase game is STRONG! So strong, in fact, that I came back for it a second time. Each time was with a large group of friends, so they are great for big parties as well. Pro tip: There is a LOT of competition in the area for sushi, but I feel this place requires dining in instead of taking out/ordering delivery. The food: they have gluten-free omakase!! The uni and toro were heavenly, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth level quality. The rest of the sushi was amazing too, but I would eat these every day for the rest of my life. If sushi is not your thing, the menu has a wide selection that is suitable for the whole family. The cocktails and sake selection are great as well. The service is quiet and efficient. The vibe is calm and the decor is lovely. Overall, a neighborhood gem. I love when my friends get together here!

Very fresh sushi for sushi rolls. I'm a little spoiled from going to omakases so if I'm craving for sushi rolls - this is the spot! Got the dynamite and TNT special rolls to try and would highly reco the TNT

Wow best sushi takeout I have ever had! The omakase is an amazing value. Everything was super fresh. I will definitely order again and would love to visit their physical location!

American Dream Roll, Salmon platter, tuna crispy rice

Ordered takeout which arrived after an hour. Fish was fresh. The salmon platter is a great deal and plenty of food! If you are choosing between the miso soup and salad, go salad! While the lettuce is boring like any side salad, the dressing was amazingly fresh and delicious. We love tuna crispy rice so decided to try it here. It was a miss and expensive for what it is. The pan fried crispy rice was greasy, and thin, so you just tasted grease and seaweed. The American Dream Roll was flavorful if you like rolls covered in sauce. I was happy to see they didn't skimp on the ginger or wasabi!

I got a table of two with no reservation needed on a weekend which was super awesome. The atmosphere in here is suitable for date nights or business meeting (I was not going for any of them but just wanted to note that since park slope is filled with a lot that isn't as business appropriate) The service was really great and always kept making sure we are comfortable and we took a lot of time deciding but they were really understanding. For appetizer I got the agedashi tofu and its ok- more on the lighter side vs super fried. On the other hand, for the main I got the omakase here and literally blew my mind I didn't expect to be getting a chefs table quality in my table service omakase sushi and sashimi. The quality of fish they serve here is immaculate and I'll be coming back for more since I live nearby. They have uni as well which is unheard of for a table service omakase for 80 dollar sushi plate because usually they leave that one out because it's very expensive. But their uni quality was just as good as other chefs counter omakase I have had. Their scallop, tuna and shrimp was so tasty, and they even come with a little soft shell crab in this set. I feel super blessed to be getting the quality I received for the 80 dollar set.

Valcano roll

Crispy Rice, the appetizer has little disappointed me, I expected it would be very crispy, however, it got little soft. TNT Truffle is the roll I got recommended by staff but I don't like the texture, it's too mushy and not chewy. The rest Sushi /SA Combo, Dragon, Volcano Roll are just okay, so overall it's worthy for 4 stars, but I can say there is nothing special and I won't recommend to others.

I came here around 3 times and the only reason we don't come here more often is because we live in queens and it takes 1.5h to get here by train but it was worth the travel. This is my first omakase experience and it had set the bar way too high. I've been to other omakase locations that is twice as expensive but I still gear toward location. You just can't beat their price for the quality you get and you also get ice cream at the end. There are two options: only sushi or sushi and sashimi. The ambiance, food quality and service are all great. If you are doing omakase you should do bar seating but they do offer it if you sit on the dinning tables. They do also have normal menu of omakase is not your cup of tea but I didn't try since every time I went straight for the omakase spot. But be careful, they have another location that is very close to this one, like 11pm walk apart. My very first time I went to their other location by mistake while my bf went to this location and got so confused why we don't see each other when we both already arrived.

Fashion roll

Great quality sushi that is reasonably priced. Service was professional and attentive. My favorite thing was definitely the TNT truffle appetizer, which is a must-order. The seared tuna appetizer was tasty as well. I got the fashion roll, which I enjoyed. Wasn't the biggest fan of the lychee sake, I thought it tasted rather artificial. Omakase looks very reasonably priced, I might be back to try that.

I am the vegan of the group and I ordered two basic veggie rolls; the sweet potato tempura and the avocado roll. Both were good and the avocado tasted very fresh! The atmosphere and the service at Ki Sushi was fantastic, we had a large group and they were very accommodating. The inside of the restaurant is also very cute and spacious. I'm (not) the vegan of the group. I ordered multiple special rolls and all were great along with the quality of fish. I also ordered the fatty tuna which just melted as soon as you ate it and my favorite on my plate. Food came out pretty quick for a Friday night. Table size was great for a large group and everyone loved the desserts. There weren't many options for vegan/non dairy desserts which would be my only thing to mention.

Above all, the fish quality and freshness is excellent and the nigiri felt especially authentic (not too much rice, sizable cuts of fish done in the traditional style). The akami and hamachi belly were particularly great. The toro scallion and king salmon crunch hand rolls were also favorites. Our opinions were more split on the spicy tuna crispy rice (I loved, husband was more lukewarm) and dumplings (obviously very freshly prepared but quite fried). The overall ambience is airy, quiet and calm and service was warm and fast. We would have loved to try the cocktails as they sound really interesting -- next time!

The space is pretty large, with a good amount of tables in addition to bar seating. I split the tuna crispy rice and the signature roll set and it was plenty of food for two. The signature roll set had an assortment of interesting and unique rolls ranging from truffle to mango- my fave was the New York crunch w potato crisps on top. The tuna crispy rice was also a bit different- served as a tartare w crispy rice chips for dipping. Very crispy and tasty though! Service was super attentive and very welcoming. Definitely will be coming back if I'm in the area.

This is the best sushi I have ever had. Though, I should mention I only recently learned to enjoy…read moresushi and have not indulged beyond salmon rolls and haven't yet gained appreciation for raw fish with a bite. Regardless, it's the best salmon roll I've ever had -- buttery with a delicate, fresh flavor wrapped in fragrant rice in perfect proportions. After experiencing the first salmon roll that I could stomach and finally understanding the hype a while ago, I've tried dozens of rolls throughout the city at many price points and this was my favorite experience. It's also relatively very affordable; my meal of a miso cod appetizer (flaky scrumptious simplicity), miso soup, a salmon roll, and green tea cheesecake came to $54 + tip. The service was also excellent. I'm the sort to dine solo with a novel, want to be completely left alone, and not notice the quality of service at all. The waitress provided the feel of an independent experience while also being very attentive, pleasant, and informative. There was an art to her skill that prompted me to observe and note an art to the service I rarely do. The staff was very watchful and reaction; everyone was well cared for. I'm inspired to try something over than a salmon roll. This seems to be the place to do it. I'll also add I was surprised to read the review on them refusing to let a guest take their leftovers home. I had just a few bites of my dessert remaining, and they asked me if I'd like it boxed unprompted.

Tried the Omakon, chef choice 5 shashimi, 6 nigiri and 1 handroll. Overall I loved each round of seafood. They picked the progression perfect. There was a really buttery fatty tuna and the mackerel was the best I have ever had. I really enjoyed the meal and will certainly come here again. We were both sufficiently full but ended up getting dessert. The mochi came in 3 flavors and was a great ending to the meal. I will also say the prices are great for some really solid suchi.

They have an extensive cocktail menu with unique flavors. My husband and I started with Miso Soup and Spicy Cucumber. The miso soup was perfect for the cold weather. The spicy cucumber left more to be desired not only was it not spicy, it wasn't that flavorful at all. It tasted like just cucumber. For our main, we shared the Goma Hamachi, American Wagyu Steak, Seared Salmon Roll. The hamachi and salmon roll were our favorites. So flavorful. The steak was okay. Cooked to our liking but flavor-wise wasn't anything spectacular. The sauce it came with tasted like oil with no seasoning. For my drink, I had the margarita with mezcal. It was amazing. For the service, I wish the food had been timed out better. We had a small two top table and the food came out so quickly. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing but we rushed eating our apps because we had no table space. We had to constantly shift plates, the candle, and our drinks to make room. The portion size lined up with the cost, and more importantly, the quality delivered. Every sip of the broth and every slurp of the udon made it clear this was a thoughtfully prepared dish. What really put things into perspective was visiting Raku shortly after. At a similar price point, the difference in portion, flavor, and quality of ingredients was noticeable. To start off, we had the Cheeseburger Dumplings ($12), which was so unique. We've never had something like this and they executed it really well. The dumplings were filled with meat and fried with a skirt. The cheese part was topped over it like a melty dressing, so a delicious and special dish here. Plus, it had a side salad to balance all the grease here. For the entrees, we had to get the udon and shared the Niku Udon ($25) and Salmon Ikura Udon ($30). It was a nice combo between a hot and cold udon. The Niku was your classic udon bowl filled with plenty of beef and a perfectly soft-boiled egg. The broth was sweet and savory for a warm and comforting meal. On the other hand, the salmon udon was quite unique with matcha udon and fresh salmon. There is a dashi to pour and mix into the noodles, which still gave it flavor and the slurp you want in a udon. Both were so great in its own way. Even their ramen also looked great, but I love all noodles. Definitely a great spot to dine near Barclays Center. Love to come back whenever I'm in the area again. The udon dishes are on the pricier side, but they're huge bowls.
