Small unsuspecting donut shop in Carlsbad village. Wanted to bring a couple of treats back home to the kids and they had a variety of donuts to choose from including pistachio and bacon topped chocolate donuts. No line so we were in and out quickly. Got home and the donuts were eaten greedily by my kids. Was able to swipe a bite or two and must say they were delicious. Not overly sweet which was perfect.

What's better than sitting on a quiet beach and enjoying a delicious donut???

Nice little spot, you can tell it's been there forever. It was recommend by a local. We got a variety, but the maple bar was my favorite! Fluffy, little bit of crunch and not too much maple. The service was good and very quick. I'd definitely go back!

Found this place nearby Carlsbad area. Normally i think these hole in the wall donut shops owned by mom and pops r really good so had high expectations but they were not met. The cinnamon roll was overly greasy/oily. The sugar donut not soft and fresh tasting and old fashion not that good. Maybe i am spoiled by really good donut shops in the bay area.

Super Donuts is great! It is cash and venmo only and quite affordable! The pistachio lemon donut was so unique, fresh, delicious! Perfect balance of flavor which is hard to do with lemon flavored desserts! They also have standard donuts and a few speciality ones like this. The woman at the front was helpful and quick with her service.

I ordered an Apple fritter and it was delicious. The Apple fritter was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The glaze was perfect. I'll be back to try more flavours

Cream filled donuts, and an old fashioned

They slice the toasted coconut and fill it with freshly made whipped cream right in front of you. Can't get any fresher than this. If you go there you have to try this. I've taken 3 different people here and every single person said that cream filled donut was the best they've ever had as well. You have to try it, trust me you won't be disappointed.

    Fruity pebble doughnut

this is easily the best donut place in Carlsbad! The owners are the ones working behind the counter and when I was worried about cross contamination with the allergies, they made me a whole fresh donut just in case. So sweet. While I was waiting, the owner gave me a sample of his coffee to try because he wants to get more into making coffee overall, this place was amazing and I would definitely recommend going.

    I've had better

I've had a lot of coffee in a lot of places, and The Goods is one of those little gems that genuinely stands out. Natalie, the manager, is incredible. She has that rare kind of warmth that makes you feel welcome the second you walk in, and you can tell there's real care behind what they're doing here. I ordered the honey lavender latte and it was beautiful. The lavender was subtle, the honey added just enough sweetness, and most importantly, you could still taste the coffee. My friend ordered an Americano and I stole a sip of that too. To me, black coffee is the real test. There's nowhere for mediocre beans or a bad roast to hide, and this Americano was smooth, rich and genuinely delicious. Then there was the donut. I don't even like donuts, which makes what I'm about to say slightly ridiculous, but it was honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. I would come back for that alone. There are plenty of places that can make a pretty latte. The Goods has something more. Really good coffee, ridiculously good donuts and people who make you want to come back. If you appreciate finding special local coffee shops when you travel, put this one on your list. The Goods is an absolute must try in Carlsbad.

My husband had the regular raspberry cheesecake donut and absolutely loved it. While presentation wise his looks better, the flavor was there for both versions. Have loved various flavors they've had over the years. Really don't think you could go wrong with any of them. I'm not really a fan of their coffee besides their black coffee just because most of it is too sweet or they are out of everything. One day I tried ordering coffee and then an energy drink and then a smoothie but they were out of almost any drink item. Finally settled on their matcha. I had it plain so it was good enough to me as I just wanted something cold to drink, but probably would have been better sweetened.

I loved how fast they were able to move the line along. I originally came in for the savory donuts, but they were out of cheese so I wasn't able to try any. So I decided to go the sweet route and I'm so glad I did! I got three donuts: The Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Hill, and Raspberry Pistachio. They were all so good, but the Raspberry Pistachio was my favorite! I felt like the icing was a good blend with the bits of pistachio sprinkled on it. It beat any expectations I had in the best way! Their donuts are also so soft and fluffy and they taste incredibly fresh as well. You're missing out if you haven't tried them yet. I'll definitely be back!

The Windmill Food Hall was between us and the beach, so we thought mini donuts would be perfect. We were there around 8something in the morning and most of the food hall is closed and empty at this point with the exception of a coffee place up front. This is toward the back, right before you turn the corner. They had a variety of flavors out and available since it was early and we decided to go with a 12 pack and pick 6 flavors each. Overall, we got the chocolate sprinkles, chocolate, cinnamon toast crunch, fruity pebbles, maple, churro, and glazed. I loved every bite! I figured because they were mini donuts that they would be more of a cake texture which I'm not the biggest fan of, but to me it felt like a mix between cake donut and normal donut. It wasn't too dense and heavy, still felt very light but substantial. I loved every flavor I got, but I think my favorite was the glazed and the fruity pebbles. We also got the chocolate milk and like an orange creamsicle type of milk. Overall, this was a great stop! It traveled well to the beach, kept us filled up for a bit, and tasted really good on top of that. Service was also very nice. If we lived here, I would absolutely come back.

The incredibly sweet woman behind the counter who helped us with a dessert order for a family dinner for twelve, the sheer beauty and variety of the baked goods in her store, or the 20 amazing cookies we ended up buying. The Carlsbad Bakery has been around for 40+ years specializing in Danish and French pastries, quiche, cupcakes, cakes, and too many eye-popping things to list. We walked over on a Friday and after talking to the proprietor decided that a variety of cookies would be the way to go. What wasn't easy was deciding what type of cookie, because their big chocolate chip, pistachio, almond, cherry, and peanut butter cookies all looked beyond amazing. We decided on a box of 20 mixed cookies ($52.90) and returned the next day to pick them up. My Sweet Lord, the box was as heavy as a bowling ball and was warm with freshly baked cookies. The intoxicating aroma penetrated the carton and filled our hotel room. When they were served at dinner, people's eyes popped out of their heads because they were so gorgeous. I managed to restrain myself and limited my dessert to one pistachio cookie that was fantastic. Of course, all of my cousins wanted to know where we found these amazing cookies. Thank you, Carlsbad Bakery, for such a fantastic customer experience. Your store is beautiful, and your product is extraordinary.
