Wow, this place brought me out of Yelp retirement just so I could give it a one star review. Yeah, it was that bad. Guy taking our order in the drive thru was rude, they messed up our order, and one of the burgers had some weird black sauce on it that resembled bbq sauce but wasn't. After three bites my teen threw it away, but it didn't save her from food poisoning today. This was quite possibly the worst burgers we've ever eaten. This occurred on Tuesday 2/16/23 I attempted to place an order online and pick it up at the drive through because i actually like their burgers and they claim to source everything local. When i arrived to the drive up lane the person in the intercom rudely told me i needed to pick it up inside the restaurant and that they couldn't give me my order through the drive through window. (There was not a line or any other customers around.) I drove around to the front of the building and parked my car in the lot. Before i exited my vehicle an employee came out into the parking lot and started screaming demands at me while i was in my vehicle that i needed to come inside the restaurant now. Yes you read that correct this actually happened. I hope the owners pull the camera footage and fire this person. I have never in my life felt so disrespected while being a customer at someone's business. Fries were horrible and they gave me no ketchup the burger was not great, in a town with so many options I would not recommend this place.

For a burger as mediocre as they have their service is even worse. At the best of times this is a sad substitute for in n out, at the worst they're slow as can be. They also "close" at 10pm, but have a chair blocking the drive through at 9:30 and their lights are off. If you close at 9:30 update your hours. You also can't customize anything. Want extra cheese? Nope. An extra patty? Forget about it. So if you want a bigger burger (they're tiny) you get to spend another $8 to buy a second. read more

Where do I start? Came in to order 2 homeless men eating we could smell them from across the room. One of the guys got up and was killing flys in the windows and putting them on the table. The other guy when in the back and came out with a push broom and was sweeping the floors like he worked there. The food was just ok nothing that I would ever go back for salty chicken nuggets. Be careful using your debit card at Super Deluxe Restaurant 805 NE 3rd Bend, OR. My receipt says $11.70 but $14.29 was debited from my account. There is no mention of the extra $2.59 anywhere on my receipt. I called Super Deluxe in Bend, OR and was told by the Manager that my tip wouldn't show up on my receipt. I DIDN'T TIP. I went through the drive-thru. (I'm not even sure how it was calculated as a 22% tip would be $2.57 not $2.59. 23% = $2.69.) Shouldn't a tip show up on the receipt? I DID NOT TIP. read more

Visited in December 2022. Love a good burger and fries, have seen comparisons to In N Out. Saw the mixed reviews, decided to check it out. First bad sign - only a few customers at 11:40am, when there should be more being lunchtime. Waited at the counter for several minutes while the counter employee was filling bags of french fries with his bare hands. Finally came over, and I ordered the double cheese, fries and drink combo for $12. Paid in cash, got my receipt. Employee (after handing my cash and working the register touchscreen) immediately went back to bagging fries. No gloves, not even a quick hand sanitizer application. Watch him go from bagging fries to the drive-thru, back to the register (when only 1 more customer came in during the time I was there), and back to bagging fries. I'm not a huge "germaphobe" but this was giving me pause for thought. Saw the employee assembling burgers wearing gloves. I was feeling good about my burger at this point - until I didn't, whens she ended up coming up to the register (while the other employee was at the drive-thru window), did some stuff at the counter register, and then went immediately back to burger assembly - without changing gloves or anything. I'd watched my burger move to a couple different locations before eventually the female employee figured out it was dine-in, and I got my order. Sat down to eat - first bite was a surprise. Bun was very dry, almost hard. Yes, it was toasted, but the rest of the bun was dry, as if the buns had been sitting out while waiting to be grilled/toasted before assembly. Meat and condiments were fine. Not a fan of the fries - there was something 'off' about them - as if they were a formed "paste" french fry. Excluding the bun, the rest of the burger was OK, meat was cooked perfectly and did taste good. Other non-stellar reviews here are accurate. Food handling practices are not acceptable. Potential was there - execution was horrible. I've seen more enthusiasm from employees making $15.50/hr - not sure why if you're making at least $22/hr why you'd display an attitude of "caring less". If you make good food, and have good practices, you'll be busy all the time - In N Out is a prime example. If your restaurant is mostly empty - THERE'S A REASON. Reminds me of those Kitchen Nightmare episodes where the owners keep saying their food is perfect and their practices are fine - but yet they've got no customers. And no owner was present here. NEVER GOING BACK Avoid this place at all costs. Decided to try them for a brkfst sando. Walked in and was totally ignored. 4 ppl in the back had the music cranked and none noticed I was at the counter. When I finally flagged someone down I did order an egg and sausage biscuit. Could see the whole process. My order was premade and they popped it into something like a glorified toaster oven. They burned it up, biscuit was inedible, sausage was burned on the edges. I want to say thank you to the manager who is always exceptionally kind and thoughtful and flexible. She is always there and she is truly the only type of person I would want to work for me, with me, or be my boss. She goes completely out of her way and has given beyond excellent service every time my family gets burgers. Also ya'll are wild talking about how bad the burgers and fries and shakes are. Super Deluxe is better than In&Out Burger, better than little big burger or burgerville or shake shack or that other place with the potato sacks. We LOVE Super Deluxe. And I LOVE salt and yet I do request no salt. No added salt. It's necessary. Also, thank you for playing kids music when you see kids at the tables. It's really just the sweetest thing. read more

This is not the fastest food but it is easily the best drive thru burger spot in Bend. Good food takes time to cook, and each order is prepared FRESH. Beats anybody on 3rd street in price and value. The wife loves the veggie burger and I'm a sucker for the chicken nuggets and the burger is great too. We went today. Sunday, October 23, 2022. Greeted when we came in. Very clean restaurant. Food was up pretty quickly. Had the fries and chicken nuggets. Both were perfect. Fries were crispy on the outside tender on the inside. The chicken nuggets were AWESOME !! Very light seasoning, not greasy, and all white meat. Very good cheeseburger for the price. They only use high grade hamburger. Perfectly cooked patty and the fries though frozen were crispy and soft on the inside. Burger at Dandy's is a notch better. If you really want to be like In n Out try Highway 101 in Lincoln City and Depoe Bay OR. They are the best burgers around. read more

Wanted to try the new restaurant but I won't be back. The service was adequate but didn't deserve a tip. (not when I have to service my own table) The chicken sandwich was the only menu item I would recommend. The burger was over garnished probably to make up for the thin patty that had no flavor.
