The place had a cozy atmosphere, but most importantly, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about beers, something I really value in a beer bar. To be honest, I had gone to another brewery near the river in the area earlier where I was treated terribly by their bartender, and I was starting to think that was just the vibe in Bend.
