    Many beverage choices.

First time stopping in to That Guy's Bistro for lunch as it's been on my list of places to go. What a great first experience. The place is cozy and comfortable. The service from Alex and everyone there was super nice and friendly. And the food was delicious. My hubby and I split a pastrami sandwich which is served on flatbread. The flatbread was outstanding--fluffy and flavorful. The pastrami was also very tasty and a generous portion. They cut the sandwich for us to split easily, which was very kind. We also ordered the sidewinder fries---and I think we have found our most favorite potato preparation in Bend. Freshly fried with just the right amount of seasonings. It was an excellent lunch. We will certainly return to try other things on their menu, such as the burgers because they look fantastic. Saw one go by to another table! They have daily specials too that will also bring us back. Great place and happy that it is a new discovery to add to the list.

Pesto Chicken Philly!!! Bread was so good! Meat was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was chef's kiss!!!

Wow!!! We were just looking for a quick lunch and found That Guy's Bustro here in Yelp...AMAZING service and equally great food!! My husband had the Philly Philly and I had the Pesto Chicken Philly. We shared the shoestring fries with their fry sauce. All of it was spot on! Kudos! The server was so attentive! He even noticed my husband was watching an NCAA tournament Basketball game on his phone and made sure it got dialed in on one of their (6) tv's. Above and beyond!! Very friendly and delicious!!! Go here!!!

Chicken Filly in a pita was so so good.

Quick bite from home. Syrius was the best server. He was prompt, funny and made sure we had a great time. Highly recommend trying That Guys and having Sy serve you. It was a quiet and small little intimate place where it wasn't too loud and we could actually hear one another in conversation. Go support this place right now!

This is a little restaurant in an unassuming shopping plaza that should not be overlooked. I felt that everything on the menu was carefully created to have flavors that worked well with each other. I came in for lunch and was happy to see that the ordering of food was well organized and everything was cooked to order. The guys who work here seem to come off as family and friends in a chill environment. It is not fast food as we had a leisurely time sitting at our table waiting for our food to be prepared. The PESTO CHICKEN FILLY with marinated & grilled chicken breast with pistachio pesto, provolone cheese, spring mix, & tomato with garlic herb aioli & balsamic glaze drizzle on a grilled flatbread for $17.00 was very good and the sidewinder fries were seasoned with a sweet and salty spice. The Cowboy Steak salad was quite honestly the best steak salad I have ever had. The ingredients we absolutely perfect. The tri-tip was perfectly seasoned with the crunch of the bacon and the Chipotle Ranch that had some serious kick, along with all the other fresh ingredients, I could eat that for every meal. If asked, I would leave off the croutons as they were not needed and the only thing on the plate that was from a bag. They have daily specials for dine I and I noticed quite a few people getting burgers which look really delicious as well. They have a variety of canned and bottled sodas, beers, and energy drinks as well as a small full bar behind the countertop where you order your food and take the numbered plaquar to your table. They deliver the food and clean up after so please remember to leave a tip either in the jar or on a credit card. They were very nice to us, so we were very pleased with the service. Glad I found this place and I will definitely be back again.

Turkey Bacon filly. Lots of filling on the sandwich and the fries with sauce were so good

Stopped in a couple of weeks ago to try this place out. With a coupel of food trucks preceding this brick-and-mortar opening, I fgured they're doing something right. And, go figure, they are. You order at the counter and then choose a seat. Unfortunately, that process isn't clearly laid out for a first timer, so we ind of stood there like idiots until we were told to grab a menu. Then sat again, until they came over and told us to order at the counter lol. Not big deal, but I'm assuming you want customers first experience to be a really good one. My buddy ordered the tri-tip filly. He said it was really good. The tri-tip was cut into pretty decent chunks. He gave me one and it was very tender. I ordered the Turkey Bacon filly and it also was really good! The fillings were plentiful. I feel a lot of sandwiches around town have gotten smaller the past couple of years. Not here! Tons of tender, juicy turkey and smoky bacon. The cherry vinaigrette didn't come through a ton, but there was a nice subtle sweetness to the sandwich. The fries were really good, cooked and seasoned well. The fry sauce was a littel sweet but balaced out by the seasoning on the fries. As I mentioned, the service could have been a little warmer (and the music was so loud), but the food was good enough that it will go in my rotation of go-to lunch spots.

Clam chowder. Delicious but runnier than most chowders.

Food was ok but they didn't listen well to our order and actually accused me of saying I didn't order a burger plain.

I will be by Friday the 11th of July. I will have a big truck and a trailer that is 23 feet long. Will I find a place to park?

Best place is across from Big Belly (only room for you and often filled) or back up behind post office where the old food truck park was.

Sadly she threw the menus on the table, asked what we wanted to drink, instead of standing at the end of the table (face to face) she hid directly behind me, which was odd, rude & a bit creepy. The gentlemen behind us who had a straight shot of her backside were completely enjoying. We asked her to please come to the end of the table so we could ask some questions about the food/menu. She copped an attitude and immediately turned into a snot nose. At that moment, we should have got up and moved to another food servers area, or left because it went from bad to worse. Enjoyed the delicious burgers but my guest ran out of water, mine glass was still full. I looked around for our server for several minutes and finally saw her heading our way with a water pitcher with very little water & oddly, no ice. She passed up the booth in front of us and came directly over to my glass, which was totally full to the brim, and sloppily poured water in causing it to overflow. Oddly she never filled my guest's "empty" glass. Perplexing to say the least. I turned to get her attention as she made a B line back to the kitchen, ignoring mine & the request of folks in the booth behind me. I glanced at my glass, and it was milky/cloudy looking with food particles swirling around in it. She apparently scooped up dirty dish water from the kitchen and brought it out to serve to me. Wow! Appalling behavior & extremely disturbing service. It takes a pretty heinous individual to do something so disturbing / horrific. Needless to say she received zero tip, clearly does not belong in the food serving industry. I tried contacting the pubs owner, Greg, to no avail.

So on our last trip to Bend we finally made it here to the their taproom and it didn't disappoint at all. It was a great stop! We got a taster set of a variety of different beers that they had on tap and they were all quite good. Many of them have a wild ale aspect to them which I can appreciate at you don't come across this beer too much on a routine basis. The taproom is cool and I love all of their art specifically where fermentation liquids spilled onto a sheet or a cloth making various designs and hues during the brewing making process of their beers. Other excellent beers that we have had from this brewery are the Samalie which is a Wild Ale. This one I rated very highly on Untappd because it was so amazing! Things to look for in the flavor profile are sourness, tartness, fruitiness, a natural sweetness and a dry finish. Really an excellent beer! Moving on from that we had the great Ping Pong Table Beer. This was another beer I rated quite highly and enjoyed immensely. This beer is light bodies, smooth and effervescent with the flavor of elderflower at work. Another excellent beer! Definitely great beer experiences with this brewery and definitely recommend it to the more adventurous beer drinking folks. There are plenty of breweries to try out in Bend and if you are looking for something on the more unusual side The Ale Apothecary is a great place for such a thing!

Ale Apothecary is a wild fermentation brewery and blendery located in a commercial plaza in Bend. They don't have food, but there's plenty of other great options nearby including Bo's Falafel and Good Life Brewing around the corner. If you're on the Bend Ale Trail, this is a must-visit stop as well. We visited on a weekday afternoon after opening, so it wasn't busy at all. The friendly beer server was welcoming and shared about the brewery, explaining about the bottle selections, how they make everything, and what was available on tap or in bottles to try that day. The décor is super eclectic with fun things to look at and enjoy while sipping. They also have picnic tables and outdoor seating if you'd prefer. Bottles are also available to go. For its uniqueness, prices are super reasonable for complex beers. This isn't a brewery for everyone however, even their customer demanded line of "regular beers" each has a signature of funk from their house yeast strains. As a beer lover that enjoys everything, it was fun to taste each thing; friends enjoyed this place very much as well. If you're an adventurous beer fan, this is worth your time!
