We came on by for lunch on our way out of town and were very happy we did! The place is near downtown and was a quick five minute drive from the highway. There's not a ton of parking nearby, so we ended up about a block away and walked on back. It was a nice day, so we didn't mind it! The place is not super large. There's seating for maybe 15 or 20 people and a bar that runs the length of a restaurant, that people can belly up to. Sandwiches are obviously their specialty, and they do them very well! Since it was around time for brunch, my eight year-old son and I split a Planker breakfast sandwich. Delicious and Huge are what came to mind. Two ways pig (Ham and bacon), dual fried eggs, a delicious homemade Kaiser roll, some fixins a blanket of white cheddar does a happy boy Matt make! Half was more than enough for me and it was Fla-vor-ful! The pork belly sandwich and chicken salad Cobb were less pretty, but equally tasty! Prices were about where we expected them and the guys working here were top notch. Genuinely friendly dudes who seemed to be liking what they're doing. Keep it up gents, it's refreshing!

We arrived to find a line, but it moved quickly--only about six minutes to reach the counter. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, though not overwhelmingly so. The dining area was fairly clean, with no unpleasant odors. We ordered the roast tri-tip sandwich, the pulled pork sandwich, and a grilled cheese. All three were flavorful and satisfying. Prices are on the higher side, but that seems to be the norm these days

The food was tasty. But it was way too expensive. No way a sandwich chips and a drink should cost $35. Great location sure. But outlandish pricing

Bend, OR Small but quaint. Great menu boards with selection of sandwiches. Bottle drinks and the water comes from igloo cooler. Ordered grilled cheese panini with tomato soup. The sandwich is piping, hot and grilled perfectly. You know it's done well when the cheese pulls from the sandwich. The tomato soup is definitely homemade with small chunks of tomato. Great flavor, thick. Might be a bit too heavy on the oregano today, but with that said, I really like it.

One day for lunch, a friend was craving an epic sandwich. Thanks to others' reviews, we came to Planker Sandwiches and got just what we wanted! This was the best sandwich I've had in months and by far the best on the trip. Planker Sandwiches is in downtown Bend. It's a tiny spot with a handful of tables inside, a couple outside, and the counter to order. The menu is big and easy to understand on the right. Various sauces are at the water station, plus other bottled drinks. Prices are super reasonable for the quality, freshness, and portion sizes. Simply, this is an amazing spot for lunch. I had the tuna sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato. The sandwiches take a little bit of time do to being made to order; the toasted bread with crispy and soft at the same time. We enjoyed every bite on one of the sidewalk tables. My only complaint was we didn't have time to return; here's hoping for next time!

Service was so good for such a small, casual place like this! Honestly had a hard time picking what to order as so many things sounded good. I went with the chicken salad sandwich and had no regrets! Ingredients all seemed so fresh and it was delicious! Also really enjoyed the soup. This is absolutely a place I could see myself going more often if it was closer to me.

It was so good we came back the next day for another round! I got the roasted turkey and my husband got the tri tip the first day and those were definitely our favorites. The next day we tried the meatball and the Cuban - while both were tasty they weren't nearly as good as the other two in our opinion. The Cuban definitely had way too many pickles but was still good. The staff was also friendly and quick service. A must have when visiting Bend.

Came in for lunch due to the Yelp reviews. Small space for indoor seating but it was pretty busy at 1pm. I got the meatball with the recommended peppers and it was a tasty sandwich. Meatballs themselves were delicious and the whole sandwich was excellent. They serve Mexican cokes and chips as well. Lots of people seemed to order the meatball when I was there, not sure if it was a coincidence or it's a staple. Sandwich itself was ~$15.

Sandwiches are excellent. They have breakfast sandwiches all day which is my favorite. They don't open until 10 but otherwise delicious. Great customer service. The breakfast sandwich and the planter are the best.

Service at front counter was pleasant, and employee even explained their menu to us, as we were first time customers. Friendly staff. Pricey lunch for a party of two for Tri-tip and chicken salad sandwich with chips, and unsweetened tea. Restroom available in the back passed kitchen area. Hate to say it, and food seemed pretty good until 3-4 hours later... upset stomach, cramping, nausea.

Best sandwiches in Deschutes County hands down. Unfortunately a bit too small and in heavily traveled downtown Bend. Worth it though!

Yo - if you're visiting Bend - make your way here, without a doubt we will stop anytime on our way…read morethrough or if we come back! It's a walk in sit down spot - you place your order at the counter and they give you a number - decent size for busy food times - so usually plenty of seating. Over the phone ordering was a snap and the dude was super polite and helpful - not rushed. My wife got the traditional breakfast - she loved the local links and flaky biscuit - I think it was peach marmalade - not sure, but it was LEGIT. I got the pozole roja (I think that's the menu name) and - yo, it was the best pozole I've had. The ingredients were plenty, the chicken was tender and flavorful, they put the radishes, cilantro and cabbage on the side for you to add so it's not soggy. Sourdough was so good to dip - mouth is watering writing this. Service th morning we were headed out at 7amish was great also - wife got coffee cake (warmed in their brick oven) and I got two citrus muffins and a sourdough cinnamon roll for later - all were scrumptious and delightful. I would got a half dozen muffins if I knew they were that good before. People were kind and the service is quick. We ate there these two time on $52 dollars - both to-go orders. We will absolutely be back - every time we are near bend, I'll be stopping for pozole for sure! Well done, Jacksons Corner, well done!

Set in an old home, this establishment has become one of Bend's favorite restaurants. The menus have range with breakfast by far being my favorite. However, their pizzas are spectacular and I've never had a pastry yet that I didn't really enjoy. They serve coffee from a local roaster called Lone Pine. The staff is always extremely friendly and I have frequently positive interactions with them when I stop by. Prices are reasonable, and the food is very high-quality while also being consistently fresh. Parking can be a challenge at times, but it's always worth the effort. Not to mention a chance for a nice stroll around downtown Bend after my meal... just the perfect end to complement a perfect day here in this lovely place. Thank you Jackson's corner for being a staple in this community and consistently making every meal here a little bit more joyful.

It is located in the parking lot of a brewery that looked super cute with tons of seating both indoor and out. We got our dinners + 2 cheese plates (one for that night and one to take on our road trip). The lady that took our order didn't really like the idea that we were taking the cheese plate to go because she said they have a nice display and silverware at the brewery for it. We thought that was kind of strange, but when we ended up getting it, it was a super full box with a ton of goodies that must of been a bit of a challenge to get in the box. It probably would of been a beautiful cheese plate if we stayed there and had some beer or wine. I got the wet burrito for dinner that had griddle potatoes, smoked turtle beans, grilled mixed vegetables, roasted chilis, & caramelized onions smothered in hot enchilada sauce. I really liked it until my friend pointed out it tasted kind of like marinara and I couldn't get that out of my head. It was still good, but not the normal burrito taste. My friend got the fried rice and liked it, but thought it was better for breakfast.
