Remarkably expensive for run of the mill burgers and fries. For more than $20 a burger, you would expect something eye-opening. Instead, burgers similar to Applebees or Chili's with a mountain of thick cut fries hits your table. Underwhelming at best. Staff was friendly and service was good, however, the restaurant itself is subpar. There are much better food options for the price. Unfortunately, until they improve both the originality of their food and the ambiance of their restaurant, this is a one and done experience.

Predatory - $30 for a chicken sandwich via DoorDash. Insane!

Lunch Review - Bend Burger Company - Bend, Oregon Lunch with a friend today at Bend Burger Company. You order at the walk-up counter, take a number, and the food is brought out. The drink station is standard self-serve. I had lemonade and it tasted as expected. The timing on the food was just right, and everything came out freshly prepared. I ordered The Bend Burger with cheese added and held back most of the veggies. The bun is excellent, but the bun to meat ratio felt off. Too much bun for the size of the patty, likely made more noticeable by having fewer toppings. The patty was also very well cooked and ever so slightly dry. Their house sauce is very good. The dining space is clean, open, and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and professional. The onion rings were crisp but fairly basic, with the onions tending to slide out of the breading. The cost is probably the long term deal breaker. Twenty four dollars for a burger, onion rings, and a soft drink is high, even for Bend, and it is unclear why an additional ninety six cents was added under "Advantage Program." Once the tip is included, this becomes essentially a thirty dollar burger meal. In the end, it was a good but not amazing dining experience with a high price tag. I will not be returning and will probably not recommend. There is a lot of competition on the burger front in Bend right now, and Bend Burger Company did not come out ahead.

Amazing service, I also feel so welcome and taken care of. They check in often and have great attitudes! The burgers are huge and they always give you A TON of fries. Great place, I enjoy it everytime!

Came here with the family when we were in town. Great choice! We started with a Marion berry shake- was great! Tasted like summer! So good! I had the Pole Pedal Paddle-omg! Best jalapeño burger I've ever had. The ginger mango chutney with the chopped jalapeños is the perfect sweet and spicy. It also had enough heat without being to hot! I can't tell you how good this was! My wife had the Mirror Pond- the Mushroom Swiss burger. She loved it- and was irritated it was so good because she ate more than she wanted too. My other family had their basic bend burger, also thought theirs was great. Their sauce is similar to killer burgers in pdx. If we lived here, this place would be a weekly visit. Oh- the onion rings are fantastic. The fries are like British chips- our family was mixed on them. I liked them. The tots were good too! Friendly staff and quick service when it was so busy! Great job!

Small parking lot around the back. Order first then sit down. Solid burgers and I enjoyed the sweet potato tots (something new for me!) but would personally prefer sweet potato fries instead. The burger was a good portion and I was surprised how many tots they gave. Although on the pricier side, the portions definitely made it worth. I would come again if I was visiting Bend for a quick but filling meal.

Ummmm, this was the most delicious burger I've ever had! The spices were dead on, the bun was soft and the edges of the burger were so crispy! I got the Mirror Pond with onion rings and I'm STUFFED!!! The onion rings were amazing and the sauce they give you was soooooo yummy! Just the right amount of "kick". Delicious!!

The Experience: I visited Toasty while I was on vacation in Bend and loved having so many options at one spot as a vegan. What stood out: Service: The woman taking orders was attentive with answering our questions and making recommendations. Our two crunchwraps took around 25 minutes before our buzzer rang and we went to pick it up. Product/Food: I ordered the buffalo chik'n crunchwrap and my boyfriend ordered the nacho cheeze crunchwrap. As someone who despises eating lettuce, the way the cold and warm ingredients are intentionally layered throughout the crunchwrap is beyond delicious. I ate my crunchwrap within minutes of it being hitting the table. The tortilla was perfectly flaky, the homemade ranch was an amazing texture, and the chick'n was seasoned to perfection. Ambiance: Toasty is a small food trunk in the Podski food truck pod complex. It is incredibly busy and it can be difficult to find a seat. However, it is fun and lively with some great people watching opportunities once you are seated. Toasty will continue to be our favorite spot to eat at in Bend!

My wife got the traditional breakfast - she loved the local links and flaky biscuit - I think it was peach marmalade - not sure, but it was LEGIT. I got the pozole roja (I think that's the menu name) and - yo, it was the best pozole I've had. The ingredients were plenty, the chicken was tender and flavorful, they put the radishes, cilantro and cabbage on the side for you to add so it's not soggy. Sourdough was so good to dip - mouth is watering writing this. Service th morning we were headed out at 7amish was great also - wife got coffee cake (warmed in their brick oven) and I got two citrus muffins and a sourdough cinnamon roll for later - all were scrumptious and delightful. Between the exceptionally good food at Hook and Plow, a most pleasant hotel experience, and a memorable trip to the High Desert Museum; our trip to Bend turned out to be a pleasure instead of the miserableness I expected. This was more than enough for the three of us and we left full, happy, and with three large to-go boxes. The flavors of the various dishes were amazing. We were greeted by the host and seated quickly. We started our meal with a delicious non-alcoholic drink and the Chef's Board: a charcuterie with an assortment of cured meats, rustic bread, and various spreads. That came out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, our main courses came out much, much later and lukewarm. Luckily, the food was good enough that it made up for the temperature. I had the NY strip steak. The steak and the Boursin mashed potatoes alone were very good. The pickled onions and chimichurri complemented the meat very well. The meal was supposed to include brussel sprouts but came with a grilled broccoli cauliflower assortment instead. My wife had the Scallop Risotto which was also a great recommendation from the server. In reality, The Hook & Plow deserved 3 1/2 stars but that's not an option on Yelp. It may have been an off night for the staff, so I will give them the benefit of doubt. We would be open to trying it again sometime in the future.
