Lunch Review - Bend Burger Company - Bend, Oregon Lunch with a friend today at Bend Burger Company. You order at the walk-up counter, take a number, and the food is brought out. The drink station is standard self-serve. I had lemonade and it tasted as expected. The timing on the food was just right, and everything came out freshly prepared. I ordered The Bend Burger with cheese added and held back most of the veggies. The bun is excellent, but the bun to meat ratio felt off. Too much bun for the size of the patty, likely made more noticeable by having fewer toppings. The patty was also very well cooked and ever so slightly dry. Their house sauce is very good. The dining space is clean, open, and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and professional. The onion rings were crisp but fairly basic, with the onions tending to slide out of the breading. The cost is probably the long term deal breaker. Twenty four dollars for a burger, onion rings, and a soft drink is high, even for Bend, and it is unclear why an additional ninety six cents was added under "Advantage Program." Once the tip is included, this becomes essentially a thirty dollar burger meal. In the end, it was a good but not amazing dining experience with a high price tag. I will not be returning and will probably not recommend. There is a lot of competition on the burger front in Bend right now, and Bend Burger Company did not come out ahead.

Came here with the family when we were in town. Great choice! We started with a Marion berry shake- was great! Tasted like summer! So good! I had the Pole Pedal Paddle-omg! Best jalapeño burger I've ever had. The ginger mango chutney with the chopped jalapeños is the perfect sweet and spicy. It also had enough heat without being to hot! I can't tell you how good this was! My wife had the Mirror Pond- the Mushroom Swiss burger. She loved it- and was irritated it was so good because she ate more than she wanted too. My other family had their basic bend burger, also thought theirs was great. Their sauce is similar to killer burgers in pdx. If we lived here, this place would be a weekly visit. Oh- the onion rings are fantastic. The fries are like British chips- our family was mixed on them. I liked them. The tots were good too! Friendly staff and quick service when it was so busy! Great job!

Ummmm, this was the most delicious burger I've ever had! The spices were dead on, the bun was soft and the edges of the burger were so crispy! I got the Mirror Pond with onion rings and I'm STUFFED!!! The onion rings were amazing and the sauce they give you was soooooo yummy! Just the right amount of "kick". Delicious!!

Had dinner with friends here The burger selection was small making decisions easy The burgers were great, if you want a great casual meal, this is the place. Although I did not try one the shakes are supposed to be awesome

Small parking lot around the back. Order first then sit down. Solid burgers and I enjoyed the sweet potato tots (something new for me!) but would personally prefer sweet potato fries instead. The burger was a good portion and I was surprised how many tots they gave. Although on the pricier side, the portions definitely made it worth. I would come again if I was visiting Bend for a quick but filling meal.

    The Bend Burger

Handmade sauces, hand cut fries, but how does one resist tater tots?? Bend burger - prepared to perfection. The beef does the have a touch of pink without being overcooked, the lettuce is thinly shredded, onions, and tomatoes are thinly sliced without losing the flavors they bring, the pickles are dill and snappy, and the sauce... woah. Chef's kiss. Damn, almost forgot about the bun, it's light and airy, flaky and crispy too. Let's just say that burger didnt stand a chance. Tots - served piping hot, seasoned with classic season salt Friendly folks, clean family friendly restaurant located off of the main road.

I am so glad we stopped here for lunch whilst in Bend. And it was quiet when we were there so we didn't struggle with parking or anything which may have discouraged us from stopping. Service was friendly when we placed our order. I was a bit skeptical to be honest--this place is freaking expensive. But this is definitely a splurge-worthy meal. I ordered the Pole Pedal Paddle Burger. I was not sure about this one because I don't love ginger OR mango, and ginger mango chutney is one of the main ingredients. Glad I went for it though because it's one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The chutney was delicious and the jalapeños didn't make it too hot, though I wouldn't have minded a bit of heat. I paired it with the garlic fries and again, I'm not sure why I decided to try those because usually they're not all that good. These are the exception. They are coated in butter (for real; every fry was glistening) and the garlic taste is perfect, not bitter or overpowering but imparting just the right of flavor. I know my mom was pleased with her burger as well, though I think she was not as impressed by the price (luckily I paid for it). I'm so glad to have my mama looking out for me because they had a marionberry shake which I didn't see until she pointed it out, and it was freaking delicious. I wish that Bend Burger had a Eugene or Springfield outlet because I'd make sure to visit whenever I came home, but since I've been to Bend maybe five times in my entire life I don't think I'll be visiting again soon. My loss, definitely.

Tasty AF! The food is awesome! The serving of fry's is ridiculously huge! Like three or four whole potatoes come with each burger! My son got the mini patty for his burger and that was just the right size. Daughter got the $10 grilled cheese and it pretty freakin awesome! Super cheesy! Had and entire box of potato's to take home! Yum! Will be back!

Is this the best burger I've ever had? Quite possibly YES! This burger joint is A-Mazing! They come on a soft potato like bun, very soft yet sturdy enough to hold the behemoth that resides within. Packed with flavor, these burgers are juicy and entice another bite again and again! Let's not forget those Fried and Onion Rings, Delicious! I've always said you can tell the difference of a good burger spot by the sides that complement the main. Did not miss the mark here, Onion rings are crisp and the fries are perfect cut/cook! The staff were super friendly and nice, made great suggestions, and even checked in on us. Clean and well lit inside, the setting gives you that typical burger joint vibe. Highly recommend this place!

It's a walk in sit down spot - you place your order at the counter and they give you a number - decent size for busy food times - so usually plenty of seating. Over the phone ordering was a snap and the dude was super polite and helpful - not rushed. My wife got the traditional breakfast - she loved the local links and flaky biscuit - I think it was peach marmalade - not sure, but it was LEGIT. I got the pozole roja (I think that's the menu name) and - yo, it was the best pozole I've had. The ingredients were plenty, the chicken was tender and flavorful, they put the radishes, cilantro and cabbage on the side for you to add so it's not soggy. Sourdough was so good to dip - mouth is watering writing this. Service th morning we were headed out at 7amish was great also - wife got coffee cake (warmed in their brick oven) and I got two citrus muffins and a sourdough cinnamon roll for later - all were scrumptious and delightful. I would got a half dozen muffins if I knew they were that good before. People were kind and the service is quick. We ate there these two time on $52 dollars - both to-go orders. We will absolutely be back - every time we are near bend, I'll be stopping for pozole for sure! Well done, Jacksons Corner, well done!

Set in an old home, this establishment has become one of Bend's favorite restaurants. The menus have range with breakfast by far being my favorite. However, their pizzas are spectacular and I've never had a pastry yet that I didn't really enjoy. They serve coffee from a local roaster called Lone Pine. The staff is always extremely friendly and I have frequently positive interactions with them when I stop by. Prices are reasonable, and the food is very high-quality while also being consistently fresh. Parking can be a challenge at times, but it's always worth the effort. Not to mention a chance for a nice stroll around downtown Bend after my meal... just the perfect end to complement a perfect day here in this lovely place. Thank you Jackson's corner for being a staple in this community and consistently making every meal here a little bit more joyful.

This was more than enough for the three of us and we left full, happy, and with three large to-go boxes. The flavors of the various dishes were amazing. We were greeted by the host and seated quickly. We started our meal with a delicious non-alcoholic drink and the Chef's Board: a charcuterie with an assortment of cured meats, rustic bread, and various spreads. That came out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, our main courses came out much, much later and lukewarm. Luckily, the food was good enough that it made up for the temperature. I had the NY strip steak. The steak and the Boursin mashed potatoes alone were very good. The pickled onions and chimichurri complemented the meat very well. The meal was supposed to include brussel sprouts but came with a grilled broccoli cauliflower assortment instead. My wife had the Scallop Risotto which was also a great recommendation from the server. In reality, The Hook & Plow deserved 3 1/2 stars but that's not an option on Yelp. It may have been an off night for the staff, so I will give them the benefit of doubt. We would be open to trying it again sometime in the future.

I am not sure if it was a name change this brewery went through or but I suspect so. Because if this was a brand new brewery I imagine it would have it's own Yelp entry. But who can say for sure... maybe it was transitional activity that reached to what my review currently pertains to which is UPP Liquids. This is still a brewery and it's a good one. So I am bumping up a star here as I really enjoyed the beer I had by UPP Liquids. The name of the beer was called Pinball Wizard which is an Oatmeal Stout. I do like these kinds of stouts very much as I like the oatmeal that is at play here and what it contributes to the flavor profile. For Pinball izard flavor features in this beer is roastiness, maltiness, a hint of smokiness and a coffee flavor. This hit the spot in every way and it was a joy to drink. Even though these beers are great to have on cold, rainy day the day we had it was a bit more pleasant and still. But despite that it didn't ruin the atmosphere as to when to have this beer at all. It was such an enjoyable beer I rated it quite highly on Untappd which is my beer rater app for each individual beer that I try.
