The staff were friendly, polite, and professional. There was a short line, but it moved fast. Layout is fast casual - order at the counter, take a seat and wait. Your meal will be delivered (or your name will be called for takeout). Dining area is typical fast-food ambiance, but with a beer option. - Jose Mendoza burger, original size: this is a very good burger and about the size I prefer. Touch of spiciness, not too much. Meat perfectly prepared. Is it the best burger in Bend? Who can say; tastes vary but I'd order it again. - Onion rings: Total letdown. These are not good onion rings - bland, underdone, limp. My order was takeout and I imagine the box KB packages to-go orders in doesn't help. - I didn't order a drink. If they offered Coke products, I might have. I don't prefer Pepsi. Besides beer/cider, I saw they have three lemonade choices. All said, a solid burger joint. Not sure I'd want to come here for dinner and a beer but it's an option. Stopped in for the 2nd time today. My first experience was pretty soon after they opened and was just ok. I ordered the Peanut Butter burger and while it was not bad, it wasn't my favorite (just had to try it based on its uniqueness). Today, I opted for the $11 meal deal and the Fun Guy burger. The burger was really good today. The burger was well seasoned, really well cooked with a nice char on the edges, and the combo of flavors was super tasty. The fries stayed warm and crispy the whole time I was eating. At $11 for a burger, fries, and a soft drink, it's one of the better deals in town at this point. Walked in and was immediately greeted. Luckily I looked at Yelp to kind of get an idea of what was on the menu. I chose the smaller sized Motley Que burger along with fries and a soda. I didnt wait too long for it to be delivered to my table. The burger was a perfect size and tasted good. The biggest problem I had with it was that it didn't really have any bbq sauce on it, when you get a bbq burger that highlights the sauce, you actually want to taste it. But it still did taste good. A PB sauce, thick pickle slices and 2 100% beef patties. The chicken tenders were moderately breaded and served with fries. I chose the house sauce and honey mustard, both were good. Fresh cut fries. Killer Burger just opened in Bend last month, and it's already a hit. When I lived in the valley, I loved the Sherwood location, so I was excited to see one here. The burgers are stacked and flavorful -- the peanut butter burger is worth trying -- and they've got plenty of seating, including picnic benches outside. First time trying Killer Burger. Went with the OG and some fries. Got delivery, so can't speak to the ambiance or service, but it came really quickly, still hot. Love the takeout box that has tear away lid so much easier to eat out of the box. Small but really cool feature. I thought the burger was quite good. Nice brioche bun, juicy plenty of toppings that all went together. Great pickles. For a delivered burger I would definitely get it again. I have been to other Killer burger locations and was excited when Bend got one. The 3 of us order burgers and added fries with each burger. Upon opening our pick up order in the car we were all shocked to see literally 12-14 fries in each box that was our "side". Since adding a side of fries is an additional $4:00+ I fully expected an actual side of fries. I took all 3 boxes back in and while the manager was super nice and polite he did say that they looked "maybe a little short" of fries but not by much. Regardless he quickly offered to give us a large share side for free. So the order problem was fixed well by the young manager guy but we still won't be eating there again because I don't want to have to beg for extra fries at the next order. read more

Came into killer burger this evening and with my two grandchildren, the service was very good. And the food tasted great. I had forgotten that my grandson was gluten-free and ordered a regular cheeseburger when I let the manager know she immediately made me a gluten-free burger at no cost. Hubs and I ordered 2 Classics, lg fry to share and 2 sauces to go. Our burgers were amazingly delish and wow the looks when we opened boxes, just like the menu pic. Our side sauces were the Bender, a spicy bbq and the peanut butter. Both were excellent. I'm not a fan of their fries. But that single patty burger was huge and I could only eat 1/2, hubs ate all. Side Peanut sauce was so good I think I will venture to the Peanut Pickle Bacon Burger next time. I can't imagine any of their burgers not being epic. 10 min to get my order that was brought to me, pretty sure it was a manager. Need time for perfection, it's not your typical fast food. First time at KB.... Thought burger was quite good, even a close second to In and Out burger. My only observation after reading quite a few reviews... the buns need help. We ordered to Killer boxes which included any pint sized burger, small fries and a fountain drink. The portions were generous, interesting beverage choices (fresh lemonade, peach iced tea) which I'm grateful for because I don't care for Pepsi products. The fries were the star of the show. Hot, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Perfection! The burger was just okay. It was a single patty that was about 1/2-3/4 inch thick. It was dry and overcooked but edible. It isn't a smash burger so not sure why it was so overcooked. They just opened so maybe they were working out the kinks. Loved Don! He was friendly and helpful at the counter and was welcoming when he asked us how our meal was when we were seated outside. We will definitely be back. read more
