I'm not ashamed to admit, I'm biased about 10 Barrel East side. Love this place! The service, ambiance, food and drinks are very consistent from when we lived in Bend 5 years ago up til the present. We make it a point to visit whenever we're in town. Every time we leave we always say, wish they would branch out to Texas(hint, hint). We celebrated one of our puppies birthday during our visit and their pup burger was juicy and so good. We, of course had to get some Brussels sprouts and cheese curds. kiddo had to have one of their juicy burgers, hubby had the wings. No oyster shooters in the menu, so we were kinda sad. Their IPAs never fail and their spiced, no pumpkin Cider was delicious. We sat on the heated patio with our pups. It was awesome to see familiar faces. Wish we could have stayed longer, but there is always a next time. Can't wait to visit again!

10 Barrel is my favorite summer drink, nothing is better than their cucumber crush while camping, so when we were in Bend for a visit I knew it was a must-stop for me. I enjoyed their Spiced, no pumpkin cider and absolutely devoured the steak nachos. I love that there is a half & half option with fries and chips, but if I were to do it again I'd go full chip, something about the fries didn't work for me. We stopped in fairly late and still received excellent service!

For beer fans, 10 Barrel is a mainstay name that consistently makes quality beer. Their facilities all have a different feel, this one a larger brewery but with plenty of space for a large bar and tables, plus a full menu of food. We had visited the West Side location last year and the beer itself was a highlight of the visit. With recent news in the beer world, there's some questionable things going on in the company, however from a customer perspective we had an excellent visit on a very snowy evening. We ordered food here, plus flights and full pours of some small batch beers. Their merchandise area is also large and at the front. Our server and the bartender were both super welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the beer. We had a great visit and would come again; I personally liked the East Side more than the West Side. If you're a beer fan doing the Bend Ale Trail, this is a worthwhile stop.

Great food and service. Got the pub house burger which was excellent. Had bacon jam which was very good. Fries and beer excellent. Korean chicken sando was alright. Spot is cool with a lot of outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

Came here for lunch with friends in Bend. The food was amazing. Loved my salad. Lots of beer on tap. They were quite busy for a weekend lunch. Good service. Typical brewery feel. Clean and sporty.

Great burger and beer/cider flight while traveling. Brought a cider growler home. Nice staff too.

Enjoyed a few appetizers and beers with friends. The food was really good and I prefer a beer pub that has a larger menu.

The past week I have visited twice, since their outdoor remodel is completing, and they have new food trucks becoming part of the team. I am so excited for the changes that have been made and the new food trucks joining the absolutely fabulous El Sancho truck. As for the brews, Crux always has a selection of great IPAs, they also have some innovative brews, such as Bochi Bochi, a rice lager, and (though not often) make truly spectacular ambers and browns. Do yourself a favor and drop by for a pint and/or a meal, you will be glad you did.

Serves food and also may have a food truck open. Our last visit we enjoyed the bowl of chili and Caesar salad was all A-OK. The staff was helpful even when busy. Interesting to note, it's like all the beer drinker mt bike folks that used to all come here years ago just happened to grow up and have kids at once, so now it definitely has a very kids playground scene, but I still think it's cool here. (Just go inside to avoid the mayhem. lol!) It's sweet that they create a fun environment outside there. A suggestion maybe would be create a small section outside. that's a no kid table for sunshine and drinking too. ;) it looks like they're making good use of their space. I noticed many changes since the last visit. Looks like they have a party room you could rent, lots of fun well designed swag for purchase, ect. Crux will be always be on my brewery list for Bend, I will perhaps just avoid peak weekend hours. Cheers!

The food was hands-down the best brewery food I've ever had, but let's talk about that pretzel. It was, without question, the best pretzel I've ever eaten. It's such a simple bar-food staple, but they absolutely nailed it. Perfectly warm, soft, salty, and served with incredible dipping sauces. Days later, I'm still thinking about it. We chose to sit inside for lunch and had wonderful table service. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and exactly what we were looking for. After we finished eating, we weren't quite ready to leave, so we grabbed a spot in the outdoor seating area to watch one of the World Cup matches. It ended up being the perfect way to spend the afternoon while our 4-year-old burned off some energy running around before we headed to the airport. Great food, great beer, great service, and a fantastic outdoor space that made us want to linger. So on our last trip to Bend we finally made it here to the their taproom and it didn't disappoint at all. It was a great stop! We got a taster set of a variety of different beers that they had on tap and they were all quite good. Many of them have a wild ale aspect to them which I can appreciate at you don't come across this beer too much on a routine basis. The taproom is cool and I love all of their art specifically where fermentation liquids spilled onto a sheet or a cloth making various designs and hues during the brewing making process of their beers. Other excellent beers that we have had from this brewery are the Samalie which is a Wild Ale. This one I rated very highly on Untappd because it was so amazing! Things to look for in the flavor profile are sourness, tartness, fruitiness, a natural sweetness and a dry finish. Really an excellent beer! Moving on from that we had the great Ping Pong Table Beer. This was another beer I rated quite highly and enjoyed immensely. This beer is light bodies, smooth and effervescent with the flavor of elderflower at work. Another excellent beer! Definitely great beer experiences with this brewery and definitely recommend it to the more adventurous beer drinking folks. There are plenty of breweries to try out in Bend and if you are looking for something on the more unusual side The Ale Apothecary is a great place for such a thing!
