River front views, games playing on big screens, great food and drinks, what's not to like?! Came here with some friends to enjoy lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We got there at about noon and we're seated immediately in the patio area. Service was prompt and friendly. We all really enjoyed our various entrées. I had the chicken sandwich with the side, arugula and watermelon salad and was pleasantly surprised with how large and delicious the salad was. My sandwich was also very flavorful and a good portion as well. I know there are several breweries to visit while in Bend but I definitely put this at the top of your list.
Inside seating was very crowded. Service was a bit slow ..I was so thirsty. Food was good I give them that.. but they hardly came around to fill our waters.
6 stars for the ambiance. Great outdoor patio area with river views. 3 stars for the beer. 1 star for the food. Absolutely insulting portion size of wings. $13 for 6 of the tiniest wings I've ever seen, including one nub of one (not even a full size tiny wing). I was going to buy a corduroy hat, but I was so insulted by the food that I didn't on principle. Would still go back for the atmosphere, but that's about it.
They have seating inside and outside with attentive, friendly service. Their beers were a little more sweet for my liking. Ordered a burger that was okay and brussel sprouts that I wish were crispier. Overall, there wasn't much to write home about but I still liked the vibe and location a lot, so I would go back because of that
Having a good IPA right next to Deschutes River was really cool. I enjoyed the outside area with plenty of space and seating. The inside looked spacious as well. Super convenient location and a great place to grab a drink before our dinner reservations.
We kicked things off with a bowl of tortilla soup that was absolutely delicious, and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked. I then indulged in a juicy wagyu bacon smash burger with coleslaw. My partner went for a smoky beef-and-cheddar cheese burger, but we thought it could have been a bit more juicy. The service was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere.
We came here yesterday. It was beautiful out and the location is right on the water. They were showing the World Cup on a big screen. We were hungry from a day out on the water and came hungry. We started with wing and the pretzel. They were devoured and we ordered another set of wings. Then, we ordered the cheeseburger, fish and chips and fish tacos. The beers were tasty and good and the portions were generous.
Let me start with the positives: loved the outdoor space with a view of the river and the server was very friendly and nice. They got us our food and had us back on the road writhing about 45 minutes. Lived the IPA I had and my husband loved his as well. They had about 5 west coast style IPA and descriptions for each. That I liked! My hubby ordered the ceviche and zi had the peach and burrata caprese dish with added chicken. Here's where my positive comments end. The peaches were described as fire roasted and they were not and they were so underripe I almost did not want to eat them. The chicken breast was cut up and very dry with a lack of salt and pepper and the tomatoes were over ripe. By the way why don't restaurants give you salt and pepper anymore? And some of them only give you a fork. That was not the case here however. I want to go back in time to where you would always get water, a knife, salt and pepper and bread. Can't we do that?

We went there after visiting Silver River Resort, we went there to see the light show and after was recommended to go to Bend Brewing Company for some good fish & chips. My wife and daughter ordered the fish & chips and both were very disappointed with there order, because the fish batter was not crispy and more doughy, the French fries was tasty it didn't come out hot but was good & tasty. I had a chili and corn bread and it came out Luke warm which even the cheese didn't melt, I asked. The waitress was very nice and offered to heat it up and got me a new one. The corn bread was cold dried and hard which was not very tasty. The waitress brought out another chili & corn bread which was hotter, but by that time I was pretty full of the pull pork nachos. The Pull Pork Nacho was good and the portion was a good side. The beers were terrific and worth ordering and they gave a good variety of beers to choose from. The waitress notice that I hardly ate the chili and took it off the bill and apologized about the cold chili. Service is outstanding
Review is for their service, atmosphere, beer, and pretzel only. Eric was behind the bar and he was friendly. He Allowed people to try literally any beer they wanted before purchasing. Personally I get annoyed when someone comes and asks to try literally every one before purchasing. Just get a flight!!! But he didn't hesitate, tap his fingers or make a face when the couple next to us kept asking for a splash of everything. He served. They had a good selection of solid beer. We liked just about beer we tried. There is indoor and outdoor seating with music at just the right loudness. The view is one of the best for breweries at this little town just off the river. The pretzel is bomb! Soft on the inside and just the right amount of crunch on the outside. Definitely one of the Top pretzels and beer cheese I've had. Well done. So glad we came!
We arrived downtown early for dinner at a restaurant that doesn't have a bar so decided to walk over to Bend Brewing Company and have a drink. Great beer and ambiance - especially enjoyed the outdoor seating and fire pit. Since we sat outside you order inside and service was friendly and fast!
It's no surprise that Bend has plenty of brewery options! Bend Brewery should be on your list of places to visit! They are celebrating 30 years of Best Brews and Views - hard to argue with that! They've got an incredible outdoor seating area right along the river which is hard to beat. There was a bit of a wait but we were able to grab a drink from their patio bar and hang outside while we waited. I do feel their menu has gotten smaller, more limited, and more expensive over the years. I had the smash burger. It was tasty but hardly had any meat... more bun than anything. For the price, was expecting a bit more. The fries were good though! The cauliflower hummus and the drinks were great! Definitely a good spot to check out while in Bend.
This was a fun spot to visit! The atmosphere sure is lively, lots of people, lots of noise, great brews, fun cocktails.. But what you really just cant be here, the seating area and the patio, incredible.... I also personally like the way they have the bar set up as an in/out. Pretty damn efficient way to get everyone served and keep them drinking haha. Food was solid, for a brewery, what you would expect. Hot and crispy fries, decent smashburger, nachos, etc. read more

Bend Brewing was a local recommendation, and I'm glad that we stopped by after a long e-bike right along the Deschutes River. First and foremost, this location is awesome! Their host stand is outside, where they can easily direct you either inside or outside. We went inside to order a flight and some bar food and found a high top table outside just in time for the World Cup match. Bend Brewing is dog and family friendly, and when we stopped by, there was even a baby shower being hosted outside! You can tell that this brewery is frequented and well loved by locals. The beer and food didn't blow me away; however, I'd come back just for the environment. High energy, good for entertainment, and a cool spot to socialize over a quick drink. By the time we were heading out, the bike rack was completely full, which says a lot in Bend! read more

What kind of witchcraft is happening in this kitchen?! I came in expecting typical brewery food and left wondering how I'm supposed to enjoy pretzels anywhere else. The food was hands-down the best brewery food I've ever had, but let's talk about that pretzel. It was, without question, the best pretzel I've ever eaten. It's such a simple bar-food staple, but they absolutely nailed it. Perfectly warm, soft, salty, and served with incredible dipping sauces. Days later, I'm still thinking about it. We chose to sit inside for lunch and had wonderful table service. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and exactly what we were looking for. After we finished eating, we weren't quite ready to leave, so we grabbed a spot in the outdoor seating area to watch one of the World Cup matches. It ended up being the perfect way to spend the afternoon while our 4-year-old burned off some energy running around before we headed to the airport. Great food, great beer, great service, and a fantastic outdoor space that made us want to linger. Bend Brewing Company is an absolute gem, and it'll be one of the first places we visit the next time we're in Bend. read more

When the sun comes out there's no better space to enjoy it than the river patio, great river views. I appreciated the creative flavors of the menu- maple bacon chicken sandwich and butternut squash risotto balls had great fall flavors. The cajun tots were hot and perfectly crispy, a highlight. I wish the suppli were larger and more filling, I also wish the french onion soup bread was on the side because it got really soggy and had a bitter taste to it once it got so soggy. Dog friendly patio with tons of dog bowls and plenty of refills for water for the pups! Great service! Enjoyed the experience overall, better than expected slightly elevated bar food. read more
I love a going to a brewery by the water. It was quite treat to discover that Bend Brewing has a lovely outdoor area with a great view of the Deschutes River. You can also choose to hang out in other areas. Inside is sleek with lots of wood that exudes a warm vibe. There is also a patio that lines the outside of the building, and I think even more seating behind the grassy area, including some covered in a tent. Basically, Bend Brewing is a large, charming hangout space- with beer and food. Speaking of beer, I'll be honest, it didn't really stand out, but I only tried three of them & remember feeling satisfied. The pretzel was delicious, but overpriced. Service was friendly enough but nothing extraordinary. I would definitely come back here for its ambiance anytime I'm in Bend! read more

Beautiful sunny day on the river. We ordered a beer and bubbly white wine and shared some fish and chips. The wine and beer were good as usual. The fish and chips were less than desirable. To start the fish is battered in tempura so thick it's like eating fish in a sandwich, not good. We peeled most of the breading off. The fish itself was good. The coleslaw on the side was tasteless and boring. The fries also were greasy and not the best. Meal rating 2/10 beverages 9/10. Beautiful outdoor area with river view. Indoor area as well. This is a family friendly brewery. The outdoor ambiance right on the river added to a great experience with 5 kids. We went there twice for dinner & once for lunch. Each time we were greeted by happy servers. read more
I wanted to be more excited about this place, but was super bummed about the fish and chips. Four out of six of us at the table ordered them and some of the batter was raw in everyone's order. In addition to that they were so heavily coated that we realize the amount of fish we got was very little for the price we paid. The crispy bets tasted good, and the rest of the food was pretty decent and our server was kind enough to comp two out of the four but had a tough time getting excited about potentially coming back. We loved visiting bend brewing. Here to visit from Florida. The beer and drink options were so great and the venue is scenic. Super cute lawn area with music and a nice view of the river. The watermelon salad was so refreshing after a day of hiking alongside a tasty margarita. Very kid and dog friendly. Can't get better. read more

What an incredible surprise! We just saw it ion a map and said yea, let's try it. Welp, incredible fish tacos and a brisket grilled cheese. The picnic area was also a nice surprise as we walked over there afterwards and enjoyed the Deschutes and ducks. Service was super friendly and quick. Just all around amazing. We loved stopping at Bend Brewing Company. The beer selection was excellent and the vibes in the grassy area were friendly and relaxed and we were glad to be able to have our pup join us out there. We stopped by for a quick beer before getting dinner in Bend, and I'm so glad we did. The views at Bend Brewing are awesome, and the vibes overall are spot on. It was quite lively during our visit, with lots of families and couples enjoying the outdoor seating area. I loved that we could order everything outside, especially on a beautiful night like the one we visited during. Seating was a little tight, but we snagged a picnic table from a group that was just leaving, making it easier for our party of 5 to sit, enjoy our beers, and play a quick card game. With a smaller group, it'd definitely be easier to find a spot to chill or even just stand by the water with drinks, but I'm glad we made it work. Service was solid and quick, providing enough recommendations for the indecisive beer drinkers and getting us our drinks in a timely fashion. Their gear, featuring a variety of items, was also quite nice - my husband wound up treating himself to a tee that he loves. We had a great pre-dinner drink at Bend Brewing, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great outdoor spot while in the area! read more
Great ambience with decent beer. Indoor outdoor seating some tables right by the river, which is great. Lots of overpriced merchandise should you choose to buy some have the nachos OK but not fabulous other folks had the burger and enjoyed it a lot probably will come again. read more

Is the patio open in the winter?
Yes, it is and they also have an open linear fire pit with some heated seats. The larger patio area is now enclosed in a tent.
