Good Life has an amazing happy hour menu, we got there 10 min before ending and the staff was quick to get our food and drink orders in so we wouldn't miss it, than you for that!!! The nachos were delicious, I added pork which gave it the perfect sustenance. Great drink menu, I enjoyed their stout. The gals in our group had their seltzers and raved too.

This place is amazing! The staff is so kind & food is delicious. The cook (Eve & Charlie) made an incredible nachos & Jennings served the drinks as well. The vibes is really chill & super friendly environment. I will definitely come back for sure.

We were in town for a concert (daughter's graduation present) and decided to spend a few extra days (my bonus). We hit a few breweries while in town and I have missed stopping here the past few visits. Went inside to order, and interacted with a very friendly and knowledgeable man. We grabbed our drinks, ordered a pretzel and found a seat on the patio. The drinks were great. The pretzel arrived quickly and tasted great. I loved the use of the flaked sea salt. So many places you rock salt (blech). It was a quick stop, but a good one.

We came in on our Bend beer crawl. Small tasting room up front and huge outdoor space in the back with games, a food truck and potties. Great area for kids and dogs and relaxing while enjoying your food and beverages. The beer was good, service was excellent.

Beer is great! Service was the best. We went to 4 breweries a few weekends ago and this place had the best service and everything was delicious and fast! It was during the 49ers and Seahawks game, so they were busy.

Our last brewery visit in Bend was GoodLife Brewing Company, one that was special to me. This brewery was the creator of the Best of Craft Beer Awards, a large commercial beer competition that has since become independent. I wanted to check out the brewery itself, so we decided to have a late lunch here and were glad we came hungry. It's located in a little business plaza that felt commercial/industrial but still welcoming for outdoor fun with other businesses nearby. It was cold that day, but you could clearly see on a nice day the big garage doors would be open giving the whole taproom fresh air. The bar is big and shaped like an L along the back wall, with a door heading to the brewery itself behind. Mug club mugs were hanging everywhere, a great sign that it's a local favorite. We sat at a high top and each had a giant flight of 6 beers, plus all the food- I had a delicious sandwich and salad with fresh produce. Everything was delicious and this place ended up being a big hit. The bartenders were welcoming and super attentive the whole time, keeping us fed and laughing. Merchandise is also available. We had a great time here; if you're in Bend for the beer, this is a must-visit place.

You don't have to choose between great beers and great food! This place has it all. Get a flight! With a flight, you can get 6 different beers of your choice. One of the beers that I had was the Orange DreamZwickel. I loved it! If you're a fan of orange soda, you'd love this too. It's so orange forward and refreshing. I also got their wings (in sweet ass Habanero) and they were good! I didn't think that 6 wings would be enough, but I was surprised that it was actually more satisfying than I expected. 8 would be better but at least I wasn't that hungry at the end of 6.

Hamburger, freshly ground for order, half pork belly, half beef. Pure deliciousness

Great food and excellent beverage options. WARNING: The burger is not for a "first date" or similar experience. You will want to savor every bite. You might let some of the juice run down your chin. You might have to close your eyes while chewing. You really should only order this if dining on your own or with good friends. The burger: freshly ground, half pork belly, half beef. Fixings included blue cheese and caramelized onions, mayo. It's been a week and I'm still thinking about.

IPA's are great. Was able to taste the one stout they had which was pretty decent. Great outdoor seating area with fire pit. Wish it was a little closer to the register. Service was great.

Food: Really good artisan cuisine, this is way better than typical "pub-fare" Their pizza is amazing too! Grab a beer, get some grub, and grab a shirt before you leave. You must go there when you're downtown window shopping. Prices: $$ What you'd expect for such a great place! Parking: This is downtown, so before rush-hour, it's not bad (be mindful of the parking time posted on the signs). You probably don't need reservations, I never have, but if you have a large party, might be a good idea! Very enjoyable!

Well, except the wings which were a little dried out, but still edible. The fries were hot and fresh, the Nashville chicken sandwich had a great spice and was freshly made, the size caesar salad was small, but fresh and flavorful, and the Margherita pizza was one you'd expect in a brewery, but won't make you think you're in Italy. We didn't partake in beer since we were off to work in the afternoon, but looking at the menu, I didn't see anything that was for me. I'm a wheat beer fan and didn't see anything that would entice me to return for a beer later.

So on our last trip to Bend we finally made it here to the their taproom and it didn't disappoint at all. It was a great stop! We got a taster set of a variety of different beers that they had on tap and they were all quite good. Many of them have a wild ale aspect to them which I can appreciate at you don't come across this beer too much on a routine basis. The taproom is cool and I love all of their art specifically where fermentation liquids spilled onto a sheet or a cloth making various designs and hues during the brewing making process of their beers. Other excellent beers that we have had from this brewery are the Samalie which is a Wild Ale. This one I rated very highly on Untappd because it was so amazing! Things to look for in the flavor profile are sourness, tartness, fruitiness, a natural sweetness and a dry finish. Really an excellent beer! Moving on from that we had the great Ping Pong Table Beer. This was another beer I rated quite highly and enjoyed immensely. This beer is light bodies, smooth and effervescent with the flavor of elderflower at work. Another excellent beer! Definitely great beer experiences with this brewery and definitely recommend it to the more adventurous beer drinking folks. There are plenty of breweries to try out in Bend and if you are looking for something on the more unusual side The Ale Apothecary is a great place for such a thing!

We've…read moregotten a few of their bottles at our local beer store over the years, and while these aren't my go-to styles, it was a fun experience trying the brewery in person. Ale Apothecary is a wild fermentation brewery and blendery located in a commercial plaza in Bend. They don't have food, but there's plenty of other great options nearby including Bo's Falafel and Good Life Brewing around the corner. If you're on the Bend Ale Trail, this is a must-visit stop as well. We visited on a weekday afternoon after opening, so it wasn't busy at all. The friendly beer server was welcoming and shared about the brewery, explaining about the bottle selections, how they make everything, and what was available on tap or in bottles to try that day. The décor is super eclectic with fun things to look at and enjoy while sipping. They also have picnic tables and outdoor seating if you'd prefer. Bottles are also available to go. For its uniqueness, prices are super reasonable for complex beers. This isn't a brewery for everyone however, even their customer demanded line of "regular beers" each has a signature of funk from their house yeast strains. As a beer lover that enjoys everything, it was fun to taste each thing; friends enjoyed this place very much as well. If you're an adventurous beer fan, this is worth your time!
