After reading quite a few not so great reviews regarding the food, I almost decided nit to come, and that would have been a bad decision. (Sunday mid-afternoon.) The minute we walked in from the 21+ side, a gentleman greeted us and let us know to head towards the other side with our kiddos, he was very friendly and gave us some pointers on what they got. The decor is bike themed, not too crazy dark, but maybe the afternoon sun helped with that. Now the food. Pretzel is soft on the inside, more fluffy than chewy, and we loved it along with the beer cheese and mustard. The wings were prepared very well, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with nice dry rub seasoning and Carolina BBQ flavors. Kiddos enjoyed their Mac & cheese and grilled cheese, the fries were also prepared perfectly. We are glad we came by for the food, beer was great too, definitely recommend! read more

On all my visits to Bend, somehow I never came to the original Boneyard pub, which I remedied by coming here twice on my recent visit. Boneyard is an old classic in the region, with some of their bigger releases contracted out to Deschutes for cans and distribution. If you're a fan of any of those, this is a must-visit location for lots of reasons. It's a big old spot, with an industrial feel complete with collection of vintage motorcycles, an old ambulance, and matching decor. They have a large outdoor patio area to the front and sides, comfy couch area in the middle near the merchandise shop, plus a bright more traditional bar area to the right. Our favorite was the dark and broody bar to the left, with candle light and black leather. All the servers and bartender here are super friendly and so attentive, which is appreciated. We tried some appetizers and snacks, which were good, but otherwise didn't eat here. Their beer tap list is fantastic with their core beers, plus so many limited selections you won't find anywhere else. Prices are reasonable and there's more than one could drink on a single visit. Beer is great, but when you show up to eat late at night and the food is absolutely mediocre and overpriced, no one is taking your order or answering your questions since it's all through an app on the phone, followed by an auto gratuity of 20%, can't say it was worth it. We've been to Boneyard twice. Both times -fabulous! Beers excellent. Try the 38 special, out on bale fresh hopped and of course The RPM IPA. Service was great both times. Order at the counter and they bring it out. Food is also a step up from ordinary pub fare. Wings-big and juicy. White bean dip is amazing- so garlicky and live the olives on top. Burgers are great. Can't believe I hadn't review the Pub yet, we've been here many a time! If you're going out for really personal table service, don't come here. You order with your phone or at the bar. In the post-covid era, its kind of expected. The latest trip here we sat outside with our two reactive dogs, and it was between lunch and dinner so not too many people which always helps. The dogs got plenty of human attention which they love. I ordered the Phuket Fried Chicken sandwich (menu at the pub isn't what's online). It was quite good, cooked well, lots of messy sauce and slaw. It really hit the spot. Spicy and sweet. Husband ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Didn't realize it came with bleu cheese on it (yuck) but he could work around it. I tried a bite and did not like it and I usually LOVE mac and cheese. But maybe trying it after my sandwich just wasn't a good combo. Anyway! The pub is fun, lots of seating in and out, dark moody vibes inside and the "biker" look to things. My family and I absolutely loved our time at Boneyard Pub today! We sat out on the heated patio because we had a dog in our group. The patio, as stated, is heated for those chilly fall/winter days - and if you can't get a spot under the heaters - they have multiple fireplaces as well. I got the Cheeseburger and it was delicious. My husband got the nachos and my kids split the kids grilled cheese. All were pretty tasty. They were having a brewers contest the day we were there so it was quite crowded and the lines to get the flights were long - but the bartenders stayed upbeat and friendly. Overall - I do not know why I haven't been here before on my many trips from Vegas to Bend but I will definitely be back! read more

During our travels in the PNW, this was one of the coolest breweries that I've visited. The pub itself has several seating areas to choose from (patio, lounge area and bar). On this beautiful Bend afternoon, We stopped in and enjoyed - Boneyard nachos with chicken- nachos were loaded with toppings and this is perfect for sharing with 3-4 people Boneyard wings with Cajun dry rub and sweet chili - you can chose up to two different seasoning for your wings. Wings were great! Beers - RPM and Khu larb Thai lager Food and beers were great in addition to the friendly servers! Overall mixed experience. The ambiance is fantastic, great outdoor seating, good live music, friendly staff, and overall good vibes especially when the weather is nice out. It was packed so finding tables that could fit our group was a challenge. My experience is likely hindered due to the fact that I don't drink; but from what I can see they have an incredibly large selection of beer on tap. For me what really let it down was the food. I had their wings in both their buffalo and diablo rojo bbq sauce. Firstly their wings are roasted; which is fine, but I think they could've been roasted a little longer to give them a little more crisp. The sauces were also a little of a let down. Went in one night for a 1/2 order of nachos and a local beer. Both were real good and the service was good as well.

The place is good for large groups because it has a 21+ section and a huge dining section but that is probably the only plus. The food here is really bland non of the items had any flavors. The beer was okay. They had a good stout and ok Pilsner but no hazy IPAs which is a little odd for a brewery. read more

Came here after mountain biking and needed a cold beer. The beer was delicious but cocktails, not so much. The food was also really good. My boyfriend said they had the best wings that he's had in Bend. They had a lot of meat and sauce on them and they gave a good amount of wings. The ranch was also pretty good. I got the poke bowl and I was surprised by how good it was! The fish tasted fresh and I liked all of the other things in the bowl, as well as the sauce. My friend got the nachos and the waitor warned us they were huge and boy was he right! They were massive! The bar inside was reallt dark but the tables ourside were nice. I honestly don't know why the rating is so low for this place, I've been in here several times and never had a bad experience. Boneyard has been one of my favorite breweries in bend for years, I love a fresh from the tap hop venom or rpm. I also love the guest taps they'll have from time to time. For example they had 3Floyds come in for a tap takeover which is insane to see this beer outside of the Chicago area, let alone on tap. I usually get the royale burger with bacon, and it never disappoints to come out quickly hot and fresh. I really like the chicken wings as well. I'll order a beer on the app they use at the table and it's usually out to me in under a minute I'd say maybe the price is a little high but the quality and service is always spot on so I don't mind paying for it. The ambience is a little divey but not so divey you can't bring your kids. read more

Great beer and some vegan eats available as well. This review is for the food, as I do my beer rating/reviewing on RateBeer. We were looking for a dinner spot to complement our beer tasting evening in Bend and saw that they had some vegan options. They have a jackfruit waffle sandwich that looked creative and came default vegan, so we both tried that with a side salad (instead of fries; $14 + $2 for the subbed salad). The sandwich comes on waffles that are made out of corn bread. You get a generous portion of jackfruit inside, with mayo, tomato and mixed green leaves. I liked the corn bread, but I'm not sure I was sold on this weird idea. Very heavy bread (I'm a big eater and couldn't finish my sandwich), with a bit too much mayo. The side salad was nice, coming with various veggies and nice, slightly sweet, tangy dressing. Super friendly, helpful and quick service. Our food came out in under 10 minutes. Of course, their beer is excellent, which is worth visiting for alone. read more

If you enjoy craft beer, Boneyard Pub is a must! A brewery owner friend of mine had recommended we go while in Bend and it did NOT disappoint. The drink list is extensive and has something for everyone. After trying several of their beers, I highly recommend both the bone-a-fide and calaveras-- great IPAs. If you enjoy lighter beers, the sour was interesting and kept my wife happy. We were both surprised by how good their food is. I went with the burger, my wife got the wrap and we were both stoked on our choices. All of the staff is friendly, kind and knowledgeable of their products and the beer industry as a whole. A quick stop on our brewery tour today. We wanted to catch some of the bowl game so we found an open table, ordered a couple of drinks, and watched the first quarter of the game. The beer was very good and the Bloody Mary was even better! We had 2 TVs in front of us playing the game without anyone walking in front or yelling too much next to us. It was fairly packed with people but there was plenty of space to be comfy. The bar tenders were friendly and fast. One gentlemen bartender even came around to our table to hand us menus and let us know to just jump up to the bar to order anything we wanted. If you don't stop in here for anything else at least order a Bloody Mary and hang out for a few. Highly recommendedAfter the first quarter of the game we moved on to our next place. I'm not surprised this already has a 3.5 star review. Tonight I had to go to Redmond airport and Boneyard Tap room is right on the way for me. I love Boneyard beer so how perfect. They had live music tonight which is an unexpected bonus, 5 stars. I ordered an IPA and it was delivered to the table quickly, 5 stars. I also ordered the Thai Peanut bowl. After about 30 mins of no food, I see a waiter sort of walking around writing notes. I ask her if she thinks my food is going to come out soon because I need to get to the airport. She says, sorry they have run out of rice and are now cooking another batch of rice, it will be 30 mins. Hmmmm, I won't comment on the simplicity of realizing that one is low on rice and its time to start a new batch BEFORE you run out. I say, OK I'll take my dish over greens, because I need to get to the airport. It comes out quickly which is great but I would like some starch. So I ask if I can get a small side of fries to go. The answer is 1) sorry we are cooking more fries they are not ready and 2) we would have to charge you for the side. Wow, this could have been solved so easily with fries which probably have a food cost of $0.25. But no, that was not the outcome. That's one star in my opinion. Cool place with a great vibe. They have some fun events and always some great beers too. The food menu is fairly limited but the items that are available are usually good. Service is always great even though they don't do table service. The last few events we've been to here they have had at least 1 food truck which definitely helps with the limited menu items. Parking is also limited but they've expanded the parking to the adjacent businesses and parking lots so you can probably find a place if you search. read more

We arrive and the place is packed, that's a good sign. We order beers and they were $6.00, not a bad price. Our friends arrive and we order the burgers and they have a beer and wine. Boneyard Pub is a bit edgy, fun and a hell of a good place to get beer. Vacationing in Sunriver we decided to make a beer run in Bend prior to our family vacation. Boneyard proved to be a great spot for picking up some beer. My son is our beer expert and I left him to pick out beers to bring back to the vacation home. He picked several good IPA's and I picked Incredible Pulp. This is a blood orange pale that I found to be very good. I am mostly a wine and scotch guy and if left to pick out a beer while out, I pick Coors Light. All beers from Boneyard were great. The place looks like a great spot to hang out. We visited on a Sunday and they have both indoor seats and outdoor seating. They also had a food truck onsite that smelled amazing. We plan to visit Bend in the near future and will for sure make another stop at Boneyard Pub. It is 5 stars in my book. read more

Welcome to brewery visit #211 for me. Sit down and I'll buy you a virtual beer! We were only in the Bend area for one night but had time to stop into Boneyard and try a few beers. I got a flight of 5 as well as a buffalo chicken sandwich. Khu Larb Thai lager was tasty. I have no real basis of comparison for how it fits style-wise since I've never tried a Thai lager before. It was good though. Diablo Rojo red ale was great and SWPFTD went with a pint of it as well. RPM IPA had good hop aroma and flavor. Nice IPA overall. The Holy Bones cascadian dark ale was my favorite of the crowd. Although the... Wooden Femur barley wine was a close second. The buffalo chicken sandwich was plenty tasty. SWPFTD went with a Kalua pork bowl which was also very good. Boneyard had good beers, good food, and a friendly atmosphere. Stop in and have a pint!
