Great local place, with indoor and outdoor seating open until 10 p.m. . This is a very Nifty downtown Redmond spot, sure to be a regular hangout for us... They have locally-made pretzels and pretzel wurst only for $5. On the locals day the beers are a dollar off. Great service, friendly staff. Very clean concrete floors, wood top counters and table tops. Really everything you could want, great place to meet others. Great place to have a beer on your own. Free Wi-Fi. This is definitely an awesome place to be. They also have different spicy peanuts flown in from Texas. Also just $5. Vegetarian options are offered at the taco truck!

Love the outdoor seating area and the fire they have going!

We have apparently been away too long in our visits to Redmond and Bend and on our most recent trip to the area we realized just how many new breweries sprung up from our last visit here. Redmond has seen a big improvement since not all that long ago there weren't that many craft beer options there at one time. Well I'm glad that's turned the corner. We went to two breweries we haven't been to in Bend and one in Redmond which was Kobold. We came here actually trying to find something to eat and saw that the taco truck here was fantastic (and it was too, delicious uniquely made tacos that keep you wanting more and more). After we placed our food order we decided to get our beer choices and we were happy that we were killing two birds with one stone getting our supper and trying out yet another new brewery to us. The beer here is indeed wonderful! I got the awesome Hazelnut Brown which was a delight to drink and had a great nutty flavor that you hope this type of beer would have. We ate our tacos and drank our beer... and played cards that were at our table making a very pleasant conclusion to our adventures for the day.

Just passing through on our road trip from california to Washington and needed a dog friendly joint to wet our whistles and fill our bellies. Quick yelp search and we stumbled upon this lovely joint! Of course we brought the California heat with us as it was 105 when we arrived. I walked in and asked if they would let a very well behaved doggo sit inside and she gladly said no problem she would make an exception because of the heat wave. The brews are refreshing and the tacos exquisite. Perfect combination. Thanks Kobold Brewing!

Best ever food is on Fleek. This place is FIRE!!! 5 stars is not enough! Ultra positive! If there was 100 stars I would give it to them. This place has the heart of a majestic lion. Best brewery by far. Magnificent owner.

Extremely well-crafted and diverse beers with a comfortable outdoor area backed by two food carts. The "burnt ends" from the Bigfoot BBQ cart is to die for. Don't pass up either. Kobold is a great place to stop after a day at Smith Rocks.

Fabulous tart cherry cider- awesome courtyard and great people. The Westside taco food truck food is amazing- particularly the root beer carnitas and onion rings -- WOW!

Good beer. A decent location. Not the best use of interior space I have seen. Great mid-day stop.

Just a suggestion but on parade days you need to have more than one server. Or, have a brewer step up for an hour or so.

If the brewer ever quits making the Hazelnut Porter, I will hunt him down and kill him.

It's a sit down restaurant but the food comes out quickly! We had looked at the menu ahead of time and placed our order right when we were seated, so it wasn't long before the food came out. The food itself was good but not amazing. They did provide a small bowl of hot salsa to spice things up but the enchilada itself was not spicy. The tacos were good, and my daughter liked her quesadilla too. The service was great! The server was so understanding of us having two young kids and needing to eat fast. At one point we knocked a water over and she patiently brought us a new one, plus some extra spoons and bowls for the kids to share food. That's the main reason I'm giving it 5 stars. Good food and great service!

The food is where Xalisco really shines. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The menu offers a great variety of Latin-inspired dishes, giving you plenty of options whether you're in the mood for tacos, burritos, or something more traditional. The meats are well-seasoned and tender, and the portions are generous without sacrificing quality. Every bite feels authentic and satisfying. Service was friendly and efficient, with staff who make you feel welcome and ensure everything is taken care of. Food comes out in a timely manner, and the overall experience is smooth from start to finish. Between the delicious variety of food, clean environment, and great service, Xalisco Latin Cuisine is definitely a place worth visiting in Redmond. Whether you're local or just passing through, it's a reliable choice for a flavorful and enjoyable meal. Highly recommend!

As it's a food truck, there's only one outdoor table, uncovered, and next to the intake to the car wash... if I was judging on ambiance, it would be a -1 star. But I'm not. I'm judging on the Carnitas Burrito I had there - which was off the charts good! Their Carnitas Burrito (just called "Pork" on the menu) comes with pico de gallo and guacamole - that's it. Four ingredients if you count the tortilla, but let me tell you - this was certainly the best carnitas I've had in a LONG time. It's impossible to say if it was the best ever (place and time, right?) but let's just say it's right up there. I added rice and beans to my burrito for an extra $.75 because that's just how I roll (burritos.) Can't wait to take my wife and kidlet there to further explore the menu. Even if the rest of their food tasted like garbage, it would still rate 3 stars simply by virtue of their carnitas. So here's my advice: Your car is a mess - get yourself a car wash. While you're there, order yourself some tasty carnitas and fill that growler that's been rolling around in your trunk. You'll thank me later.
