it is a smaller place but there is outdoor seating by the food trucks, they have a decent amount of on tap options and a small selection of seasonal/"special" cocktails. i didn't see a cocktail menu anywhere other than the specials listed, which i wish they would have had. service was friendly, i ended up going on what was apparently bingo night so it did get very busy and almost every seat was full. not sure if bingo is a reoccurring event or if it was a one off thing, they do have games available though and minors are welcome. overall good atmosphere and a pleasant experience! read more

Kobold is a well known brewing company in the Redmond/Bend area. Their main production facility is outside of town, but for those wanting to try their beer at a welcoming and cozy place, check out The Vault in downtown Redmond. It sits in an old storefront on what feels like a once-vibrant main street. The cozy colorful lights are welcoming. They have a larger outdoor seating area, but on the freezing cold night I visited, I opted for a seat at the small bar. There were large boisterous parties nearby, it was clearly a popular spot. The beer selection is large, with various serving sizes. Flights of 4 are only $8 here. They also had a number of bottled and can selections, even some from other breweries. The bartender was very welcoming and friendly, as were other patrons so it ended up being a fun evening of beer and fun talk. If you're a beer fan, this is a must stop in Redmond. Great local place, with indoor and outdoor seating open until 10 p.m. . This is a very Nifty downtown Redmond spot, sure to be a regular hangout for us... They have locally-made pretzels and pretzel wurst only for $5. On the locals day the beers are a dollar off. Great service, friendly staff. Very clean concrete floors, wood top counters and table tops. Really everything you could want, great place to meet others. Great place to have a beer on your own. Free Wi-Fi. We have apparently been away too long in our visits to Redmond and Bend and on our most recent trip to the area we realized just how many new breweries sprung up from our last visit here. Redmond has seen a big improvement since not all that long ago there weren't that many craft beer options there at one time. Well I'm glad that's turned the corner. We went to two breweries we haven't been to in Bend and one in Redmond which was Kobold. We came here actually trying to find something to eat and saw that the taco truck here was fantastic (and it was too, delicious uniquely made tacos that keep you wanting more and more). After we placed our food order we decided to get our beer choices and we were happy that we were killing two birds with one stone getting our supper and trying out yet another new brewery to us. The beer here is indeed wonderful! I got the awesome Hazelnut Brown which was a delight to drink and had a great nutty flavor that you hope this type of beer would have. We ate our tacos and drank our beer... and played cards that were at our table making a very pleasant conclusion to our adventures for the day. read more

Just passing through on our road trip from california to Washington and needed a dog friendly joint to wet our whistles and fill our bellies. Quick yelp search and we stumbled upon this lovely joint! Of course we brought the California heat with us as it was 105 when we arrived. I walked in and asked if they would let a very well behaved doggo sit inside and she gladly said no problem she would make an exception because of the heat wave. Just a suggestion but on parade days you need to have more than one server. Or, have a brewer step up for an hour or so.

Nice spot for a brew and food truck experience. Staff and food truck owners were friendly.

Steer clear, the service is too friendly. Unfortunately the beer was far and above what I had hoped for. Seems like they're putting too much effort into making it taste really good...real shame. Also, there's a 4 star taco truck parked out back, which seems a little overboard to me. We were there on a Monday so only one truck was open but lucky for us, it was Westside Taco Co. We tried 4 different tacos and they were all amazing! The beer selection is solid, and if it is your right time, I highly suggest a flight since it is so cheap! I stumbled across this place driving around Redmond trying to find a place for a bite to eat with my puppy. I loved the fact they had outdoor seating and two food trucks, one serving tater tots, and the other delicious tacos. They have a nice selection of local and regional beers on tap and were happy to let me sample several different ones. The atmosphere is relaxing and a great place to chill out. Such a great atmosphere, you wouldn't even know we're in the middle of a pandemic except for everyone wearing masks and using sanitizer. Perfect spacing made for a lovely time with a friend without feeling the crowd of a Saturday evening. I had the raspberry sour, hazy ipa, and mango seltzer- all great for the sunny weather and pairing with Westside tacos. The sour was probably my favorite, but the ipa was really tasty, not bitter, and the mango seltzer was very refreshing, like it had real flavoring and not the artificial aftertaste a lot of fruit drinks suffer from. On another night (or maybe a growler to go night) I'll have to get their bourbon barrel aged stout. Sampled it and ohh boy is that one rich and delicious! I can't believe I've lived in Redmond for over 2 years now and this was the first time I've been there! Lot of fun places to go in Redmond now, but definitely check out Kobold/TheVault! read more

We came in specifically for three beers that were listed on their website. Unfortunately, they didn't have any of them on tap. One was out of season so it wasn't a surprise. The beers we did have, we weren't crazy about. We tried 4 total. The location is on the main stretch of the downtown Redmond area so it's a little busy. Nice places to sit with multiple fires to gather around. Lots of foot traffic so it was great for people watching! What a surprise! Good food in Redmond!! Nothing makes me happier than getting truly good food for your buck. Westside Taco's killed it. The first bite of the Carnitas taco was not only flavorful, moist and delish with crispy edges from the grill top but then a homemade tortilla took it next level. Then the chicken mole taco....sweet and spice together. Nothing short of amazing. An added bonus was the energy coming out of the food cart. A saucy personality made it entertaining too. The best was, requesting something special and getting exactly that! Fried Jalapenos-hope it makes it to the menu board for the next time we're there! Rock star Taco's for sure !!! Love this place. Wish I could come here every day after work, but I don't live in Redmond so I have to settle for occasionally. Great selection of beer (their own and guests taps too), and other non-beer drinks (wine, fizzy water, tea, CBD sodas, kombucha, etc.). Free yummy popcorn and super nice staff and owners. Went there for first time the other night with 2 other couples. I had the peach cider that was HORRIBLE so sour and bitter was really undrinkable. My husbands tangerine wheat was good. We had tacos and they were good also had onion rings they too were very good. So 4 stars for the food truck!
