Normally I'm not one to leave food reviews, but this place in Redmond, Oregon absolutely deserves it. The food was incredible, especially the carne asada fries -- seriously, so good. Everything was packed with flavor and the portions were generous. It's one of those hidden gem hole-in-the-wall spots you're so glad you found. The service was amazing too. I was hesitant coming here but I am SO glad we stopped by. Loco place is located at the end of a strip (door is all the way to the left). The menu is simple, we ordered some tacos, burrito and elote. There's a cart of various items in the front and many people came in and ordered from there. There are many drinks option including a strawberry one and a mango one that looks delicious. The food took a while to be prepared, but it's packaged well. The asada burrito is huge! It was packed with meat and fixings. The tacos have generous portion of meat on them. I love the pescado one, it was nicely fried and the pico de gallo adds to a nice bite. The asada was good as well. I'm not a fan of the adobada, which is almost like chorizo and was a bit salty for me. The elote was fantastic. Every bite was packed with Mayo, cheese and hot sauce. I'm hoping that I would be able to come back for other items, but they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Stop by here for some good Mexican food! read more

This place is the real deal! So authentic we could barely figure out what to order. There were several Hispanic people that came in before and after us so it must be good. I had three tacos: Carne asada, fish and shrimp. All excellent and delicious. My daughter had a burrito that would be called a Grande burrito anywhere else. So ive been looking for a super burrito in the bend/redmond area and this is it. Its all well balanced, not too much rice or beans. I normally dont like pinto beans but its soft and creamy. There are two salsa options, the green which tastes more like a medium spicy pepper (not tomatillo like like many places have) while the red is even hotter. In town visiting Smith Rock and this place BLEW ME OUT OF THR WATER. The asada tacos and burrito were so delicious and the portions are absolutely massive. The beef was juicy, moist, and packed with flavor while complemented with raw onion and cilantro. We also got the chili powder corn which was also great. The prices were super reasonable. I've been coming here for their fruit bowls since they first opened but today was the first time we had their food. . I usually don't order tacos around here because I think they can't compare to the Yakima food trucks but they had a 3 for $8 special. And they seriously have the best tacos in Central Oregon. I'm so happy we tried them and will definitely be coming here more often. My daughters split an azada burrito and said Loco Place is their new favorite restaurant. This place has a lot of great classic Mexican munchies. From candies, chips, drinks, and candies. To freshly made favorite Mexican concoction. The tacos have a great taste and fairly prices. I will def come back to try the asada fries. Very friendly staff. The mangoneada was perfect. And I like that they have a little bar area where you can get more like salsas and chili powders to add to your snacks. read more

I've found my new favorite place to eat in Redmond! I don't live here but am regularly in the area. I've tried many places around here and Loco Place has me not wanting to go anywhere else. I ordered the mangonada, elote, shrimp taco, and carne asada taco. The mangonada was so flavorful and fresh...one of those things that I'll be craving nonstop until I can come back to get one. The shrimp taco and carne asada taco were both so flavorful. I added their green salsa + lime from the salsa bar and it was clearly homemade and fresh. The elote was authentic and a good balance of spicy/savory. I wanted to try everything but already couldn't finish what I got....next time! read more

I had 2 people waiting for to go orders ahead of me I don't know for how long but I waited somewhere around 20-30 minutes. But, they keep the place clean and sounded like they were doing a build out so maybe that was part of the problem. We stopped in for tacos after reading the reviews and we were pretty darn happy! I tried a trio of tacos, 1 each of pollo, carne asada, fish (pescado). They had fresh, flavorful ingredients, and I really appreciated that each had it's own unique toppings that accented the type of meat. I think the fish taco was my favorite though. OMG yum!!! A really awesome surprise was the fruit smoothies they make fresh as you wait, using only fresh fruit. I had strawberry, mango with lime, and it was soooooo good. My hubby had a hamburguesa and loved it!! It appeared to be the same beef used in the carne asada tacos, with bacon, and other toppings. Very unique but delicious.
