We spent about 10 minutes talking to the manager she's a gem and answered any and all questions we had. Great spot for a late night meal or midday lunch. Before anyone slams me for giving them 4 stars, let me say, I'm not pitting this against any upscale restaurants, but rather other quick-service restaurants in town. That being said, if you're looking for a better than average tasting fast food burger, Super Deluxe is pretty tasty. I ordered the double burger, with fries, and a soda. I opted to skip the raw onions, but kept the griddled onions. The burger was salty but not overly salty. The other toppings complimented the patties and made for a great tasting bite in every bite I took. The I-n-O style wrapper meant the burger stayed together as I worked my way through it. The fries were cooked really nicely and stayed crisp until the very end of the meal. I was stuffed, but couldn't help but finish almost all the fries. The Deluxe Sauce (fry sauce) was interesting, a little sweeter than most as if it had some honey mustard in there. The soda machine needs some maintenance, as it was producing foamy sodas rather than well carbonated drinks. Finally, we grabbed a spicy chicken sandwich to split among the three of us. The sandwich was an actual filet of chicken and had a nice flavor to it. I'd def order it again in the future. Again, this burger won't stack up with the burger at 900 Wall or Bos Taurus, but for a quick burger (at a fraction of the cost), I'd say this burger is up there. read more

I don't normally patronize fast-food restaurants (nothing wrong with them and would never criticize those folks that do) but decided to hit up Super Deluxe after seeing comparisons to In-N-Out, a favorite of mine when I travel to Southern California. - Double Deluxe Combo: Not bad. I'd put it just under the In-N-Out but then, I don't have to travel hundreds of miles to get one. Burger was well prepared and packaged (drive-through order). Poor packaging is something I've seen mentioned on social media so hopefully they got that worked out. - Fries: Crinkle cut, a bit limp and maybe a touch salty. But also not bad and not greasy or oily. I ate all of them. Drive-through service was quick (no one in line at about 11:30 weekday) and Bend friendly. Price is high even in these times. $12 for an average-sized burger, fries and 16 oz drink. The server at the window asked if I needed a straw, to which I said no. Well done - a small victory in the war against unnecessary waste. I note that their menu from years ago mentioned using the Impossible plant-based meat substitute in their vegan burgers (maybe the veggie, I don't recall). Now the menu is silent on that, and in the online FAQs there's no mention at all of what plant-based meat is used even in the question about what's in the vegan burger. I think SD should be more forthcoming in that regard. Overall, A-OK. If I were to crave another fast food meal, I'd certainly consider Super Deluxe. And if the vegan is actually still an Impossible burger, I might consider that option too. read more

Really delicious burgers with buns that are browned, crispy crinkle- cut fries, and they've got an ice machine with the small balls of ice that are so satisfyingly chewable. This company needs to be called super nasty. I refunded my order after seeing the employees (plural) make my order without washing their hands. This was the first red flag. Red flag number two was the female employee on the line with very long dangly hair in a half up half down style that hung over the food. She did not have a hat or visor on. She did not have a hair net on. There were no efforts to prevent physical contamination from her hair. Nasty. Super nasty. Red flag number three was how the same girl who has her hair half up half down DID NOT WEAR GLOVES WHILE HANDLING READY TO EAT FOOD. Let me say this again. The people making your ready to eat food like buns, lettuce, tomatoes, meat, cheese, do not wear gloves. They're handing your food with unwashed bare hands. This is a violation. I was flabbergasted at this point, because a young boy who was trying to get me and my friend to apply was saying you have to have a good handlers card to apply. When we asked the young boy why the girl wasn't wearing gloves he procedures to tell us, and I quote,: "we're not with OSHA." Excuse me? What? Then he proceeded to tell us how they don't have to wear gloves but still made the girl put them on. She did not wash her hands first, as is required. The girl ended up removing the gloves shortly after putting them on, and continued to make food with bare hands. I was watching to make sure nothing yucky happened, and we caught this girl putting her bare hands into the lettuce bin, putting it on the sandwiches and then she also put some into her mouth, and proceeded to cook. We lost our marbles at this point, as I was getting surgery the next day and couldn't risk getting sick from some careless children who don't want to follow the cooking rules to keep people safe. Not to mention the two employees I keep referring to were very mouthy and talking back to me and talking OVER me telling me I'm wrong, and the even did this while I was speaking to the manager. I cannot believe people who behave like a child having a tantrum are allowed to work in hospitality. We spoke to the manager, lyn, who was very gracious and listened to me voice what I had witnessed in her restaurant while she wasn't watching. She refunded me instantly and assured me she would speak to her employees. Regardless of her extreme professionalism I cannot condone giving this monstrosity of a "restaurant" more than one star. I want to give it none. This restaurant needs corporate to come in and get rid of the children who are employed and hire some adults who have a passion for cooking, for people, and for being in a kitchen! The people there are ONLY there because they get paid $22 an hour. Do not waste your time or your money on an $9 sandwich that WILL make you sick. read more

Terrible!! It was late afternoon well after lunch hour, one car ahead of us. They took almost 10 minutes just to take our order at the drive thru speaker. Once order placed it was another 10-13 min to get food. The first bag handed to us seemed "light" so we asked if both burgers and fries were in the bag. Employee confirmed and shut the window, we looked and it only had burgers. So we got his attention, told him the fries were missing, and he responded "oh sorry, they're right here", put them in a bag and handed them to me. We left.
