I have been to a couple of other Sunright Tea Studio locations (Irvine, Artesia, Little Tokyo) so am pretty familiar with the chain and think this location is a mixed bag. The location seems to have decent parking being set back from the street. The interior is pretty spacious with a couple of tables to sit at, which is nice. They were fairly quick at bringing the drinks, which was good. The think that took back was that I ordered the Mango Milk tea and it didn't taste as good as the other locations I have gone. Glad this place has a caffeine free, dairy free option! Got the fresh taro smoothie with oat milk, 50% sweet with boba. Boba is chewy and sweet. The taro smoothie was tasty- my preference is still for that vibrant purple artificial taro drink, but the fresh taro was alright too haha! Unsure if I would get this drink again. Hubs got the Thai tea with boba and oat milk, 50% sugar. Good strong tea flavor- would prob get the 75% sugar next time. Would come back again. Liked how they have contact free ordering. I'm so happy we have yet another amazing boba shop joining the South Bay. Sunright is called a tea studio, but my favorite items have been their frosties. I think my favorite mainstay is the mango frostie, which is blended with their cheese foam, which isn't too cheesy. There's little mango it'd in it and it comes with jasmine tea jelly, which adds that perfect amount of tea flavor. When you order the frostie and try to adjust the sweetness, they do tell you that 50% and less will result in iciness. I highly recommend sticking to 75% to 100% sweetness for their frosties as the store recommends. I've tried it both ways and reducing the sweetness really does affect the texture. The 100% sweet frostie has this cloud-like fluffy texture that is just divine. The grape frostie they just added is really good as well. It tastes like asian/korean grapes (iykyk). Their teas are also good, but this is probably my go-to spot when I have a hankering for frozen boba drinks! Most recently I tried the white peach oolong tea with cheese foam, and it was good, but I feel like the white peach oolong elsewhere was better. I do like that they have both white and yellow puddings! The white pudding is a cream pudding, and the yellow is more of that caramel flavor typical egg pudding. The options are endless! When I went it hasn't been crowded, but I normally order online because other locations have been pretty busy in the past. read more

First of all SunRight Tea is in back of the in-n-out on Artesia blvd and Western Ave. in Gardena, next to albertsons. First of all, i always rate my boba places based on the house milk tea flavor first, then the quality of boba. What i had here is the house milk tea boba drink with the brown sugar boba, i had the ceylon tea with honey boba, and i had the sunright fruit tea with lychee jelly. First the house milk tea, this was my dissapointment here. There was no tea flavor, basically almost too washed out flavorless beige fluid. Ok maybe not that far, but sure it's drinkable but there is so much competition in Gardena for good milk tea, i think whoever mixes this, should rethink the ratios because it wasn't good, or i'd rather spend my 5 bucks at a handful of other places for this particular drink. Milk tea should first taste the tea, then whatever milk or non dairy product they use, then the brown sugar/boba flavors, but there wasn't any separation of flavors, just a very light tasting milky beverage. Next the fruit tea with lychee jelly, i think this had like maybe 2-3 cuts of i think it was oranges, but could have been a lemon in there too. This was a fruit iced tea and it was pretty good. I've had this at other places with chunks of huge fruit pieces so this was a little underwhelming, but it still was good and the lychee jelly was plentiful raising from 2 to 3 stars. Finally, i tried the ceylon mlilk tea, then added the honey boba. This was suprisingly delicious, lots of tea flavor. The honey boba sweet and a bit chewy/sticky but good. I think this drink elevated the score to a 4. I will be back for this tea, as this is how a boba milk tea should be, tea flavor and then the dairy/boba. They do have a lot of other drinks that do look amazing, more on the sweeter side they look like, very creamy and sweet looking, but i'll have to try one of those or a yogurt drink sounds good too. I think since it's new, they're still working things out, so i hope they take this as constructive criticism and fix the house milk tea lol. Otherwise awesome new place, it's very clean and modern interior, with touch screen ordering panels. Workers are quick too, drinks came out fairly quickly. Will be back to try more. read more

My bf and I a huge boba FIENDS!!! When this place opened up, sunright was the only place we regularly went during the peak of the pandemic. It has not become a staple during our date nights. Although sunright had blown up and opened stores all over SoCal, their qualiTEA has never gone down. I usually get the mango milk tea 50% sweet, light ice, and honey boba. I wanted a taro milk tea blended so I asked the short girl with glasses (working 1/26 at 12:30 pm) if the computerized system would give me the option.. she said no I couldn't do that. No option to order extra boba. So I put it in the notes. Had to be brought back to pay for the extra boba. The blended taro drink was disgusting. They have two touchscreen machines for ordering, which is great for customization for ice levels, sweetness, and non-dairy options. I was super excited to try out Sunright because a shop is opening up in my building. The Torrance location was very spacious with some seating. My husband got the the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with the yellow pudding and I got the Boba Milk Tea with cream pudding and boba. I like that they have caffeine-free options. I did think that my milk tea was a bit watery. The taste wasn't very strong. I think maybe different milk is used. I'll definitely go back and try some other drinks. I don't understand why it took so long to seal one drink, it's inconvenient to mix the Oreo brûlée drink in a capped cup. Really recommend you to try the strawberry matcha boba. Very strong matcha creamy flavor with the sweetness from the strawberry "jam". It's been a month since I first had boba at this Sunright location. How is it that I still can only order once I'm in the store? I tried calling and went to the website (when you click on "Order Online", it says, "Whoops! 404. Sorry, the page you were looking for at this URL was not found." Super frustrating.
