Such a cute place to get brunch in St Augustine! We came with no reservation and the waitstaff was so nice about moving around some tables to get us one large enough for our party. We sat outside in the shade on a warm fall day. Loved the menu art! We got the shakshuka and lobster roll and devoured both, washed it down with some mimosas which were equally delicious. Wanted one of the huge cinnamon rolls that the staff were walking around with but unfortunately the kitchen had none left :( Took our check and paid inside, no issue splitting checks
I ADORE Sunday. I've only been a couple of times, but it's always on my list for recommendations when I have friends going to STA. It's a pretty spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. I love sitting by the window so you can watch outside and enjoy the lovely views. The food is just simple and fantastic -- everything is fresh, there's some fun and unique twists, and it's just so dang good. Everything I've ordered (and all of friends' dishes that I've tried) is great. Service is on point and everyone is super friendly and kind. They have coffee and alcoholic treats depending on what you're looking for. The hibiscus mimosa was a cool surprise and I really enjoyed the flavor - not sweet, but floral.
Heard about this place receiving Michelin distinction so had to try it. Luckily wait was not long since it was a rainy day. We loved everything we ordered since it was fresh and healthy. We ordered avocado toast, patty melt, bacon, egg and cheese and shushaka. The sourdough bread is the highlight of each dish. Crunchy on the side and soft in the inside. Now we know why it got a Michelin plaque.
Food was awesome. Loved the pressed coffee. Had the egg and bacon sandwiches. The inside was set up like someone's house. Excellent service , got to try this place in St Augustine.
Beautiful Brunch Spot adjacent to the Historic district of Saint Augustine (SA). This breakfast spot is in the San Marco neighborhood. The parking nearby is 2 hour on side streets, but if you need a parking garage there's one not too far. I highly recommend ordering a French press of coffee! It's very delicious! You will get 3 cups of high quality coffee to share at the table or have all to yourself. As far as dining al fresco, the front courtyard is beautiful! However, on our trip it was too cold to dine outside. We were seated at a large table inside that accommodated our large group. They had several tables inside, but I could see on a busy Sunday or Saturday morning this place would get waitlisted quickly. Everyone loved their meals. No complaints. I ordered the lobster roll. It was very good, but I would try something different on a return visit. The salads coming out looked amazing! Everyone at my table raved about their meals: Shukshuka, BALT, Benedicts, cinnamon rolls. Every single thing was enjoyed!
This is located very near the fort in Saint Augustine and near the fountain of youth. There was a nice breeze outside, and we sat on the patio. The umbrella provided enough shade to keep us comfortable. They also have indoor seating. The food came out promptly and I loved the vegetable root hash!
Super super cute place!! Our server was so nice and helpful when it came to telling us how the food was prepared (gluten/dairy free). Both plates were delicious! Great place to go for brunch
We visited Sunday on a Monday morning (ironically) around 9:30am for breakfast. We were looking for something quick to eat and close to our hotel before starting the day, and this was a very pleasant surprise. This place is tucked away in a house. They have a pretty patio with a fountain out front, and the inside is decorated with some beautiful art that's also for sale! I like the style of the interior here, it's charming but doesn't feel like it's trying too hard. I was looking for something on the lighter side, so I got the mushroom toast without the goat cheese. The bread here was very good, and the dish was really well balanced overall. I loved the cured lemon, it was the perfect touch of acid to complete the dish. We also got a cinnamon bun which was delicious. There were mimosas all around, and we were happy with the serving size. I'd definitely return to Sunday, it's a really nice and simple start to the day. They've got a good variety of heavier and lighter options. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting.
Sunday has been on my list to try for a while, so when we were going to be passing through Saint Augustine during our recent road trip, I knew this had to be our breakfast stop. It's the cutest daytime cafe & bakery located in a historic little house with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in the courtyard. The interior is minimal, light, and a little boho featuring artwork by local artist Jenna Alexander, whose art studio is located behind the restaurant. Her work is phenomenal and they also have prints and & greeting cards available for purchase. They specialize in sourdough bread and toasts, eggs, sandwiches, salads, and some other baked goods. We ordered the massive cinnamon bun to share (very good), the smoked salmon toast, the B.E.C. sandwich, and a side of bacon. The bread is definitely the star of the show here and we really enjoyed everything. That bacon was especially on point! I also got their cold brew with their seasonal lavender coconut syrup, which was delish. They were also very baby friendly with high chairs readily available and a changing table in the bathroom -- necessities when you're on a road trip with a toddler. This is such a gem in Saint Augustine and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!
Pretty good. I had the Shakshuka and cold brew. My husband had the patty melt. The place was super cute, loved the theming. The Shakshuka was pretty good. The prices here were high for what we ultimately got in my opinion. I thought they'd have more coffee options, since their whole thing is that they have brunch all the time. Unfortunately they didn't have much variety, and I didn't love the cold brew. One of the best bites was the "chow" on my husband's plate which was a surprising tangy treat.
I came here for breakfast with my family and had high hopes based on other reviews and pics, but unfortunately it just wasn't it. Here's a breakdown: Eggs benedict: 1/5 The restaurant did not have pork so we had to substitute for regular bacon instead. The whole dish including the potatoes was cold and the hollandaise sauce also was not fresh. Bahn mi: 2/5 As pork was not available, we had to substitute with shrimp which sadly was very bland and did not go well with the sandwich. The bread also was too toasted for my liking. While there wasn't anything outrageously bad about the bahn mi, I've definitely had much better. Shakshuka: 4/5 Great flavor and cooked very nicely. I would definitely get this again!!! Only critique is again the dish was cold. Coffee: 4/5 I really enjoyed the French press coffee including the options for non-dairy milk! However, it was on the weaker side and slightly sour tasting. We will for sure need another cup of caffeine later. Overall, I may come back to try one of the toasts; however, for the price there are definitely much better plentiful options in St. Augustine.
100% recommend Sunday! We were on our way back home, after a quick weekend in St. Augustine. We wanted to grab a bite to eat before the drive, but needed a place that allowed our Dog to sit with us. Sunday, had a nice and spacious outside area. It was about to rain, but we said we didn't mind, so they cleaned one of the table, with an umbrella, for us. They offered us a blanket for our dog to lay on, and brought us and him some water. They do not have espresso machine but they do French Press and the coffee was on point. Everything on the menu looked amazing. I decided on the Salmon eggs Benedict and could not have been happier. Delicious, and the potatoes is comes with were perfection. As if that wasn't enough, I good amount of arugula salad, adding a nice fresh bite to the dish. I was not able to finish it all, so I shared with my BF. He had ordered the Shakshouka, that comes with their homemade sourdough bread. We wanted to try a dessert but ended up to full, so it will have to be another time. Even without it, we were very happy with the food and overall experience.
I stopped by Sunday on a whim and ended up having one of the most memorable solo lunches in recent memory. The vibe is relaxed but elevated. It's a clean, airy space with natural light, unfussy but stylish, and the kind of menu that makes you want to order one of everything. I went with the lobster roll and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful, topped with salmon roe that added the perfect salty pop. The chips on the side were seasoned so well! I paired it with a glass of natural riesling light, slightly funky, and super refreshing. They have a really thoughtful selection of natural wines which is rare to find done this well in a casual brunch/lunch spot. Overall, Sunday nails that sweet spot between laid back and quality driven. Whether you're going solo (like I did) or meeting friends, it's one of those places that just makes you feel good.

This was our second choice, but our first one was closed. So glad we came here! The food was so yummy, and the ambiance was quite nice. We had a great time. read more
Really glad we tried this spot 4 breaky. We love hand crafted, healthy, fresh restaurants & I'd say this fits the bill. Casual environment but upscale food. Love shakshuka so was excited to c it on the menu. Tasted a lot like the Trader Joe's version but with bigger onions. Good size. Eggs Benedict was a little wonky- the smoked ham is more like pulled pork bbq meat, not ur typical Benedict ham. Root veg hash was tasty. Liked the micro greens on top. If u don't like runny eggs, u should specify over hard when ordering as all r meals were served w/yolks u could break & mop up. Breakfast potatoes were excellent. They also have a gal in the window making homemade sourdough bread. It looked tasty. We r gluten free so didn't try it. Would recommend offering a gluten free bread substitute particularly since u probably get a lot of the funkier crowd. Bread Srsly has an awesome sourdough or could just do the heritage canyon bakehouse bread. Beware- 1 female employee told us their sourdough starter sits for 24hrs or something like that so we should b okay if we aren't celiac. Nope- it's made w/all purpose as well as wheat flour. Not happening as much as I would have loved to have tried it. Not sure about parking as we walked. Restaurant & kitchen r both very clean. Would recommend this place to others who appreciate healthier/fresh foods. read more

This morning, my husband and I planned to run the Bridge of Lions 5K and wanted to make a date out of it with breakfast after. We have our usual places, but I wanted to branch out and suggested Sunday, because the patio is so darn cute, and I wanted to sit outside after a hot run. I am so glad we did it. Sunday is an absolute gem, and I don't know how we waited so long. The restaurant shares space with the Jenna Alexander art gallery in an old house with a gorgeous porch and courtyard. We didn't spend too much time inside, but it's bright and airy with a pasty case and some merchandise for sale. We took a seat outside and were waited on promptly. Service is absolutely unhurried, but still attentive, so just manage that expectation. The menu is not incredibly varied, but there is enough of a selection. I ordered the avocado toast with a side of grits, while my husband got the eggs benedict and a side of bacon. I had an iced coffee, and he ordered hot. I am not a coffee connoisseur, but he loved it. The avocado toast was GORGEOUS. The base was thick, toasted sourdough, topped with olive oil, avocado, petite greens, slivered radish and furikake. The flavors complemented each other and the dish didn't even need a boost of salt. Yum. The grits were some of the best I've ever had - creamy and thick, with a note of garlic and some other delicious flavors. Yum. My husband was slightly skeptical of the smoked pork in lieu of Canadian bacon in his dish (he's a Benedict purist), but once he tried it, he was hooked. The eggs were poached perfectly, and he loved the potatoes served on the side. This is a lovely setting for a quiet local meal, and we can't wait to try it for lunch as well. read more

Sunday has the best brunch in St. Augustine IMO. I had the Shakshuka and my gf had the Smoked Salmon Toast BOTH were excellent. I also had a french press which was a great value. They also have mimosa options which I was tempted by. This was actually my first time trying Shakshuka in general and I think it's my new favorite breakfast item. There must've been at least 3 eggs in the dish so I definitely got my moneys worth. Both brunch items we had came with their homemade sourdough bread. They have both inside and outside seating. The outdoor seating is very nice with a fountain in the center. Make sure to check out the cool shops on San Marco Ave after brunch. read more
So cute! My friends and I made a day trip up to St. Augustine and Sunday was a lovely first stop. What can I say about it? The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the service was great! It gets pretty busy on the weekends, but we were lucky enough to to snag an outdoor table with no wait at all. If you're following COVID restrictions (and you absolutely should be!), this place is a great option for outdoor brunch if you're able to get a table. The inside feels super refreshing and bright, but seating is fairly limited; so if the weather is bad, Sunday might not be a great place to be. I'm a sucker for a good shakshuka and Sunday had me shak-shooketh. The sauce was hearty and flavorful without feeling heavy, and it was paired perfectly with the sourdough toast. Parking was a bit of pain though, but we were able to find street parking for 1-2 hours. There's a small lot in the back but, on a busy weekend, it might be challenging to find a spot. Make sure to factor in time to find a spot. All in all, I highly recommend and would love to come back! read more
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable. This place is absolutely unforgettable. Coincidentally went to Sunday on a Sunday. Only thing missing was Adam Levine serenading us. Was looking for a cute brunch spot & landed on this gem. Heads up, there's parking behind the building. Walked in and oh boy, it was hella cute. How do I know? My gf couldn't stop commenting on how cute everything was. It wasn't too packed! Thankfully.. brunch on a Sunday is a dangerous game. They were out of pancakes so I went with the homemade cinny bun. This joker was HUGE. Like thank god I shared because it's too big for one person. It was delightful. I must note that it sits in a pool of its own icing for you sugar lovers! The sandwich was cool. Your basics bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. A bit on the smaller side so be sure to get a side with it. Listen, when on vacay it's always pleasant to be handed a cheap bill when dining. Coffee, cinny, BEC... $17!! THANK YOU! Sign me up for round two please read more

This is a sweet little spot where a home was converted to a restaurant. You can sit out front or inside the restaurant. We had the egg sandwich which was delicious. Our waitress was great and helpful when we had questions regarding food selection. I would definitely go back. read more
Guilty of going to Saturday Brunch at Sunday Gathering Table! Exceptional food and service standards - Definitely will visit again. They said, "Pomegranate Mimosas?", I said YES! and please (I am writing the review just a few day after to make sure I truly had enjoyed.) As a Floridian, St. Augustine, was already my favorite childhood Atlantic getaway, especially for a quick daytrip from Gainesville. We did outdoor seating on the patio - I was feeling all this new-outdoor neighborhood eatery vibe. A small menu was just enough to say, the food will be delicious. Love the atmosphere! Love the brightness! From the start the servers were all smiling, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food details. The food also matched the expectation. The food presentation and plating was clean and chic (I took a picture, check it out). I had the Croque Madame open-face toast topped, which seemed smaller than typical as it was one with the Pork Shoulder, Béchamel, Gruyere, and Egg and vegetarian partner had the Roasted Shiitake & Oyster Mushroom Herb Pesto, Cured Lemon on a toast - and BOTH WOW! - I would go back and order everything just to taste the skilled flavor combinations. The french press coffee pot, was a nice personalized touch. Safety Side note: Applause on ALL the Covid precautions read more

We decided to finally try Sunday and much to our delight we loved everything! The natural lighting and artwork help create a fun brunch environment. The freshly baked breakfast really helps elevate their menu. The shrimp banh mi was well rounded with a balance of crunch, spice and pickled sweetness. What truly suprised us was the mushroom toast which I'll included fresh sourdough, goat cheese, honey and lemon -- a sweet and savory treat! Lastly, we took a sour dough loaf home with us for the week (last one on the shelf). Highly recommend. read more

Such a cute and delicious breakfast spot! My friend is the one who recommended Sunday as a must try restaurant when in the area. We planned to spend the morning in st. Augustine so we stopped in for a bite to eat to start our day. I'm unsure of the actual parking situation offered as we found street parking in front of the great cross, which was a quick walk to the restaurant. We decided to sit in their outside patio which is great place to enjoy your food, especially on a nice day. The inside is a bit small but still offers seating. Our waitress was super attentive and helped us decide on what to order. We ended up starting with a bottle of champagne with a side of OJ for mimosas, as we were celebrating! For breakfast we ordered the eggs benedict and salmon toast. Our only complaint was that both of our breads were a little tough to bite off but, otherwise everything was very tasty! I believe there is a airbnb/vacation rental next door which shares an entrance with the patio, as we saw some people coming and going with luggage. I'm not sure if the space is affiliated with the restaurant at all but, it is definitely an ideal location with amazing breakfast next door! At the end of our meal, we made our way inside to pay. They have such cute art prints displayed and for sale inside and a studio space in the back lot that we decided to pop into after our meal. The artist was there in person and was very sweet. From wrapping paper to puzzles with art prints, they had a little bit of everything for sale. It is definitely worth stopping in after your meal if you have time! read more

I love a brunch/breakfast spot that avoids the classic egg and bacon dish. We dined on the shashuska - a delicious middle eastern dish of poached eggs and stewed tomatoes, garlic and pepper. The sourdough bread is made in house and held up well as a toast and in the shashuka. The croque madam toast was delicious and leaves me wanting to return to try the oyster mushroom toast and 6 minute egg. The only way to get coffee is by French press which in my humble opinion is the best preparation for coffee. The ambiance is delightful as a it includes an artist studio. All the Covid precautions were taken and I will definitely return! read more

Cool little place with a nice patio for outdoor dining. The inside is so nice and chill. Really great vibe. A small menu which I like but it means I have high expectations for the food. They did not disappoint! Amazing and so fresh. I got the ban mi. Really good on the French baguette. Take note of the jalapeños as they were hot. A great bite of flavors. Deb had the BALT that had bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato. So good too! The creaminess of the mayo and avocado was so good. Probably the best thing though was the potato salad. Amazing. The best we had had in a very long time. Definitely well deserved 5 star stop. read more

Great food, great service, mimosas were delicious! We both had smoked salmon Benedict and it was perfect! Served with roasted potatoes and topped with quality micro greens. Wanted a good brunch spot for 3 of us that had fresh light breakfast offerings and this exactly hit the spot. It's in an older home that's been completely remodeled and has that fresh clean modern homey vibe to it. Lots of bright windows inside and a large patio outside for seating. The French press for coffee was immediately a nice touch and the menu was noticeably flexible with lots of places to add items such as eggs or sides. In addition to the menu they had fresh sourdough for sale and a variety of super cute local artist prints, cards etc. for sale. Definitely a one stop for a cute gift and breakfast. I plan to eat here again next time I'm in St.Augustine and will recommend to anyone I know! Food was so tasty, I highly recommend the mushroom toast! read more
Loved everything about this place; food, service, interior and exterior ambiance were all fantastic! I ordered the shakshuka and my husband got the eggs benedict. Mine was so good I was already planning my next morning to come back to try something else on the menu! The highlight for me was the bread, which I was happy to see they sold! Also, I rarely like or even try the breakfast potatoes, but these were so good that I couldn't stop eating them- extra crispy and perfectly seasoned! I didn't snap a picture, but I really liked the art and thought they were tasteful Floridian interpretations. I'm sad I missed out on the corduroy fountain of youth hats, would have loved one of those! read more

Perfect place for our last foodie experience in St. Augustine, Sunday was unlike any place we went and some of the best food. Cozy spot with outdoor patio which was awesome, indoor seating too. Very contemporary and a great chill vibe. Servers were extremely nice and easy going. Seated straight away , no wait on a Sunday! Chose outdoors even though it was a little cool, because hey it's Florida. Drinks first! Water ,French press and mimosas, check! All hit the spot. Not a overwhelming menu, just some basics and some different things. I went With the shakshuka, this was awesome, stewed tomatoes,, peppers and onions, cilantro, and eggs, served with their delicious sourdough toast. Love this dish, low spice but great for a Sunday morning. My friends got the BEC sandwich, bacon, egg and cheese, this was a doorstep of a sandwich, huge, served with crispy, perfect roasted potatoes. The eggs Benedict had a twist too, smoked pork as the protein. On sourdough toast, hollandaise, and those potatoes! Another great dish and looked amazingly fresh with the greens. Then we decided on the sweet Sunday treat , cinnamon roll, hands down one of the best I've had, warm, not too much icing which is how I like it. Soft, inside, slightly crispy outside, this was heaven! Must get menu item. This place just was perfect in every way, inside so clean, and with some neat gifts and house items. Highly recommend this casual, neat place. Lucky we got here when we did, unbelievable line after we got seated! Sunday was great on our last Sunday. read more
My boyfriend and I had a great brunch here! The restaurant is in a house and has indoor and outdoor seating. It was very cute and we surprisingly didn't have to wait for a table on a Saturday morning. We sat inside by the window and it was very pleasant. I ordered the toast that our waiter recommended. It was made with roasted shiitake and oyster mushrooms with herb pesto, goat cheese, and cured lemon. WOW! It was amazing! The perfect combo of sweet and savory (and beautiful). I loved it. I asked if they had a drink menu, and thought it was weird that they didn't. I asked if they had a dry rose and our waiter said yes! He brought out a natural sparkling wine which I had before from Kathryn's Wines. It was great, but I wish they had a menu so I knew the prices and options. I also added a side salad that was fresh and spring-y. My boyfriend went with the patty melt made with Florida grass-fed beef, gruyere, caramelized onion, fancy sauce, and pickles. He liked it, but wasn't crazy about it. It was so juicy it soaked through the bread and was a smaller portion size than expected. Overall we had a really nice brunch here before exploring St. Augustine for the day. read more

Sunday is such a wonderful experience from the moment you walk up to every bite you take! I have heard about this place multiple times and decided to stop in on my day off! Upon first impression, I will say they absolutely nail the aesthetics! Sunday offers seating both indoor and outdoor and accommodate both well. I chose to sit inside for my visit but I noticed that they have a good amount of seating outside as well as they provide blankets to sit on while utilizing the stone benches that they have for seating. The inside of Sunday has a very clean and minimalistic look! It's such a pleasant place to be! I ordered the Roasted Shiitake and oyster mushroom toast and let me just say this is the absolute best toast I have ever had! The toast is full of so many flavors! Lemon, sautéed mushrooms, oysters, and arugula. This is such a perfect blend! I also have to comment on the size of this toast! It was more than enough for one person with the combination of everything out together. I am obsessed with this toast and can't wait for my next visit! I think Sunday would be a great place for brunch, meetings, or a quick snack! It's also ideal for a date! read more

Such a cute little breakfast spot! I wish I had a photo to show how amazing our dishes looked. I got the root vegetable hash which was made of roasted beets, potatoes, turnips & garlic cloves - it was so delicious, I didn't even miss having meat in my dish. I also ordered a side of sourdough (delish!) & green tomato pickles. Those pickles alone are worth coming back to this establishment. My friends each got the eggs Benedict which looked so flavorful. Sunday also offers a collection on art for purchase so naturally I bought a few prints to bring home. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area! read more
