They don't let customers use bathrooms to even wash their hands. Not coming back anymore!

Ordered two sandwiches for pick up 04/05 - never gave me any notification about store being closed, show up for pick up and all the doors were locked! Wasted my gas and went back home, I've now been trying to call the store ALL DAY and no one has answered the phone even once to figure out my refund. I was still charged for the two sandwiches that I didn't get, the app even says I picked them up which isn't possible because the doors were locked! NEED MY REFUND NOW! It Was clean inside and service was nice, but the veggies looked old like they haven't been switched out for who knows how long and my bread did not taste or feel fresh at all. The meat and cheese did not have a good taste either. Never going back here again, and I'm hoping I don't get sick. read more

Sign says they closed at 9, I arrived at 8:25 Doors were locked. Guy working kept shaking his head telling me to leave , but I showed him the time and he came to the door and all mad told me that they don't accept any orders past 8:30.... And I told him the need to update the hours and he got mad and said he has to turn off the ovens.... Last time I remember in a food service job you keep stuff on until close. (From experience). There are a lot of subway locations in the Phoenix area. But I specifically go out of my way every time to visit this one. The quirky girl with the black rimmed glasses behind the counter makes the best sandwiches and is always so nice. read more

This experience was very unfortunate. I really try to give the benefit of the doubt, but I was already grossed out when the girl making my sandwich was touching her phone and the computer with gloves, and then made my sandwich with the same pair of gloves. I was also disappointed because the majority of the drinks had not been replaced, so just water. Then I come back to work to eat, and the bread is rock hard(it was not even toasted). I see this place hasn't gotten viewed in a long time, but I would like to leave a review on it. I always come here to get sandwiches when I'm in Tempe, and they are always the best ones I have had. I usually have Leah prepare my sandwiches for me, and she is super friendly towards myself and other customers and provides quick and attentive service. This spot has been a hit or miss for me and today was a pretty disappointing miss. I ordered a Spicy Italian FL Pro which is supposed to come with more meat. Even after the girl finished with the protein I even asked if that was the right amount for the FL Pro cause it looked a little light and she said yes. I wasn't gonna argue with her about it but when I went to eat it you can tell it was just the normal amount they put on a regular FL and not the amount they put on the FL Pro. She definitely charged me for the pro amount though. Like I said this place is hit or miss. Sometimes you get someone who knows what they're doing and sometimes you don't. Sometime you get fresh bread sometimes it's stale. At least this time the bread was fresh. read more

They burned my sandwich and when I asked for it to be remade I was told I would be charged for 2 subs if they did that. This was my second visit in two days to this SUBWAY. My "Sandwich Chef" was Gabriel twice. He is an amazing employee! I have been a Subway diner for decades, and always had a great sandwich (except for my recent terrible experience at 48th St & Baseline). My in-restaurant orders here were perfect, carefully built to my desires (double toasted) and Gabriel clearly was a pro. I asked if he were the Subway franchisee, but he said that he was just an employee. Ha! Gabriel is a manager in waiting... When writing a review for a chain fast food restaurant like subway I'm only going to focus on three things customer service, cleanliness, food preparation. Otherwise, all other metrics seems to stay static, as you already know what to expect before walking in. First, the customer service is always spectacular. Which makes me hope they are well compensated. Next, the establishment is always clean, including the bathroom. Finally, the food preparations are good and i haven't had any issues with the way they make their sandwiches. All in all, it's a Subway but a good one at that. read more

I've been eating in Subways for most 30 years. Of the hundreds of locations I've been in, this is the CLEANEST (food area) I have been in. Some Subways are nothing short or disgusting. There is some real pride of ownership at this location. Very friendly staff too read more

...And then.... there was a Subway... that got it Right! As you can tell by previous posts I have been on a mission to see how bad a subway can get and I've been surprised by how bad some are. This one is actually good. I asked if they had buffalo chicken, they said now, BUT we can make it.. sweeeet!. I asked for extra jalapenos and peppers and instead of giving me a blank stare trying to figure out what I said, they added a hand full of each. Before the sandwich was wrapped up it actually looked good! .. with other Subways it looks like Ray Charles put the sandwich together and its just a mess when you open it up. read more

Couldn't find the items i wanted on delivery menu so i called here to place order for pickup. When call was answered i asked if they had my item she asked someone else who said "yes we do" i then asked could i place a pick up order she again asked someone who said yes and took over phone. I placed my order and she repeated it back to me. Fine. I go pick up my order 15 min later (which was stated time) get home and opened my bag. No marks or intitials stating which sub was which. The tuna was supposed to be toasted and the subs were so skinny amd skimpy on meat. I called to ask why and i went thru the robo answering machine hit the prompts and was immediately put on hold. I had an amazing experience here at Subway tonight. And I must say Sean and Tolly (I'm not quite sure how to spell her name) are INCREDIBLE, and Subway should be delighted to have such wonderful employees. They not only got both of my picky sand which perfect they also looked delicious. And they're attitudes were extremely positive. I will be getting ahold of a manager to compliment how well they were. DO NOT PARK BEHIND SUBWAY!! There are plenty of signs posted saying that those spots are for customers.. It doesn't say customer of Subway however.. So if you walk into the smoke shop next door, expect your car to be gone when you come out. Then the manager of Subway has the audacity to blame the smoke shop for my car being towed. Either way no sandwich or E-cig will ever be worth the $135 it cost to get my car back.. I will NEVER return to either establishment again. read more

I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with this Subway. I was running errands yesterday and I wanted to stop in and get something to eat before my pool league started. The girl that was behind the counter had reddish, brownish hair and she sneezed two times while handling the food. I was shocked that after she sneezed, she did not even wash her hands or put on new gloves. Then when she asked me what I wanted, I said "I would like a Steak and Cheese with double meat, and I would like the bread toasted, and the meat and cheese nice and hot." She only gave me the regular portion of meat not double meat, and the meat and cheese were not hot. She charged me $14 for the sandwich, and when I explained to her that she had charged me way too much and that she gave me the wrong portion, rather than trying to fix the problem she unfortunately was rude and had a sorry attitude.
