It's a chain, but this location always delivers a great sandwich quickly. If it's not to your expectations, they will redo it and assure you are satisfied. Great quick Lunch spot even with bigger groups. Tip: their house made sauce is great , and their great hot sauce selection doesn't leave much to be desired. read more

Let's start with the pros-restaurant was clean and tidy. Ok, that's it. If your Monday nightly special is meatball maybe you should have meatballs ready. There are 4 coworkers standing around in an empty restaurant at this point. One of them thinks it's cool to drink in front of a customer. That's so unprofessional. Also, said employee can't look the new customer in the eye and wait for her to grab her sandwich with a smile. Just calls her name and put the sandwich on the counter and walks away. Must be in a rush to do nothing. Back to my meatballs..after waiting extra for them the sandwich looks great but 3 out of 4 are cold. I would strongly suggest the business owner cut the staff from 4 to 2 and let the people work who know how to get stuff done instead of standing around and being on their phone. read more

I have always liked Firehouse Subs and supported their mission to supporting First Responders with every purchase. This is location in particular is a little bit wonky as the entrance is in the back side of the building. I first pulled in and try the front door but realize that everything is actually at the back. I went to lunch time so service was as expected. A small Wait but not significant. I went for the brisket and a ship combo with drinks and that ran me around 12 and a half dollars. It's a little expensive but the whole point is to support First Responders. What's up was good as always and there's a decent seating area outside if you don't mind the noise from Kyrene and Chandler. read more

My mom is a regular weekly customer. Today I joined her for lunch. There was an issue with a discount with her rewards account and the owner went above and beyond to make it right. After a few minutes of staring at register, he said, "I'm ready when you are," as he still did not make eye contact. How would I know? I've never been to Firehouse Subs before and after my visit today, I'm now a fan. I ordered a small smoked turkey on white and chicken noodle soup. With the combo I also was able to get a drink and not just any drink, a huge drink for the same size as a small. They have one of those drink machines where you can choose from a ton of combinations. I got a diet Barq's root beer. The staff was very friendly, quick and efficient. I got my order to go and was pleased to find that it was correct when I got home. My only negative is the size of the sub. I had no idea that a small is actually a mini. Had I known, I would've ordered a larger size. The sub was fantastic. I asked for new onions and really enjoyed my sandwich. The bread was fresh, the turkey was light and not too smokey, the lettuce was shredded and easy to eat, and I love mayo on my sandwich. Waited 25 min for 5 subs to be made. Everyone was made wrong. Manager just criticized all the employees and never even apologized to me. They stood there and remade them for me while she kept getting on them for taking the bread she needed to make the next customers sandwiches. 40 min for 5 subs to be made. Go elsewhere. Rude manager. Bad service by her. I have no way of responding to your remarks below stating inaccuracies. I hope you will go check video and then come back and apologize for stating I wasn't accurate. To let you know timing, I ordered, left and went to the auto part store, came back and still waited 15 min. As I stated earlier, it initially was 25 min, but when they had to remake everything it took another 15 min because the manager wouldn't help expedite the order. 25+15=40 min. I like the flavor Firehouse Subs but the prices are outrageous, it takes forever considering plenty of staff and they did a horrible job making my sandwich. My 4" sub and small drink was $9!? $2 for a small drink? and almost $6 for 1/3 of a sandwich which they put a sliver off meat on it and covered it with cheese to hide the fact there wasn't enough meat to cover the bread. I will avoid this place. Too many other great sandwiches places who make quality sandwiches. read more

Pretty good sandwiches with an extensive menu. I had a BLT with ham and it was good and it seemed fresh. The service was quite quick and the restaurant is very clean. It was interesting to me that this was founded by firefighters and there were multiple dedications to 1st responders which was very nice to see. I have to say there was nothing remarkable about this sandwich but I didn't really expect that. We just went in after a long day and shared a quick sandwich on our way home. I am at a mixed martial arts training today and found the FireHouse subs close by so the group of us came by for lunch. I've been meaning to try FireHouse out since I came to the Valley 6 years ago but just never had the chance until today. :) Well I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Smoke House Beef & Cheddar sub and it was very good. The smoked brisket was very fresh and the BBQ sauce and cheddar was pretty good too. Also the sandwich was brought out to us as we were chatting at the tables. Nice touch instead of having to wait for your name or your order. I'm glad I came by. FireHouse is on my good list of eats. Beats Subway, which I would rate a 1.5 on quality of sandwiches. lol read more

Worst service ever. I walked into the restaurant and no one greeted me (they greeted everyone else). This didn't phase me, until it took 25 minutes to make one simple sub. While there was no appreciable line of people waiting to order, there were many waiting for their orders. My friend and I noted that there were more people waiting than there were eating. They are pretty decent with food actually, service is great prices not the greatest, but really my beef with them is that they ask for donations for the firemen usually I say no but look like a jerk saying it. And well firemen make good money and really work part time have retirement health insurance etc. etc. as most struggle by. so corporate come on don't pressure your customers... Walked inside and greeted being the best part is terrible. Lady at the counter couldn't understand What I was saying and had to get her manager. Everyone spoke perfect Spanish, not sure if they all knew English beside the person that called my name and the manager. The sandwich was wet, and really difficult to hold being wet. Weird that this ha sheen the only Firehouse subs that is empty as well. There was no one in there. After finding my sandwich was all wet and just bad looking I went to the one on Ray and McClintock which was packed and everyone was smiling. The employees here are the nicest I've ever seen in a place like this. My car's AC was not working properly at all, and I needed to cool off. I walked in, was greeted with a friendly hello and a smile, I told them about my car's air conditioning, and they said, "Oh my gosh, that's horrible, would you like a water cup?" I'm standing with my water cup rather than sitting to stay awake for work which was about an hour away. The man at the counter lets me know I can sit down even though I'm not ordering or anything. Common curtesy and a sense of decency is so uncommon these days, but this Firehouse Subs has got it in the bag!!! Thank you for taking care of me while I waited for a ride!! This is relatively new store. Have been to several other Firehouse Subs so we knew what to expect. My wife had the hook and ladder lite and I had the steak and cheese. They were both very good. It was kind of funny that we knew the menu and how to order better than the clerk did. It was busy but they were pretty quick on getting our food. Holy smokes. Don't go here at lunch if you don't have more than 30 minutes for your break. The line was to the door. Luckily, we ordered online for pick up and were able to bypass the long line (only after consulting with the nice young man who was at the door welcoming guests who then had to ask another employee what proper protocol is).
