Jersey Mikes is pretty good. I think I like it a little better than most other sub shops. Although sandwiches taste the same and they seem fresh, this sandwich I bought was huge. I usually get the roast beef and provolone sub. This time I got the cancro special. This is roast beef, provolone, and pepperoni. On the website they tell this story: "In the summer of '74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro's brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own." I got the giant size with Rosemary Parmesan Bread. Mini - $7.75 Regular - $10.65 Gluten-Free Bread Available Giant - $18.15 Gluten-Free Bread Available Wrap - $10.65 Bowl - $10.65 They also have White Bread, Wheat Bread, and Gluten Free Bread ($1.65). Mikes way comes with Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Red Wine Vinegar, Olive Oil Blend, Oregano, Salt.

My sandwich was a little plain since it wasn't done Mike's way. I did add some red wine vinegar when I got home and that made the sandwich taste better. The pickup at the restaurant was quick. It tasted good like a typical sandwich and fresh too!

Jersey Mike's Fact: Back in the fifties, Jersey Mike's was one of the only places in the world to get a sub. Locals and vacationers flocked to Jersey Mike's to get the delicious #2. This fan favorite is stacked with provolone, ham, and cappacuolo. I got the #2 Jersey Shore's Favorite and it was good. Get it Mike's way which is the signature way in which they top the subs with onions, lettuce, tomato, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and a blend of spices. But enough about that. This is a newer plaza and the location is clean. The staff here are friendly and there are really no complaints! Get you a Jersey Mike's Sub.

Nice new location

The location is perfect! The staff is nice but there is a lady in there who needs to be more attentive and learn the menu prices as well as, how to generate a coupon. I rarely use coupons however, my friend gave me one which was, what appeared to be a great deal. Buy any size sandwich and get the drink and chips for free. Great right!?! Ok, so everything was smooth sailing up until I left thinking wait a min, how on earth does a $6.11 sandwich go to $9.11 I also tipped on top of that (rather than go over the math here) I called and spoke with the Manager who stated he noticed the overcharge and would reverse the difference to my cc without my having to go all of the way back over there. Days later my cc was reversed but still overcharged...sheesh guys, I'm going to need y'all to be more careful... keep it and add it to my other tip that I already gave. All I'm saying to the public is to check all of your receipts because these days not only is customer service not the best but the people being hired could care less and will charge whatever. It's crazy out here!!! ‍‍ Forget the coupons just ring me up correctly and give me my food please!!!

I moved this around obviously to see what the deal was.

Ordered a sub in a tub didn't think anything was wrong until I got home. I asked for a number 13 with pickles, oil, vinegar, and salt. He confirmed and said pepper, I reiterated oil, vinegar, and salt no pepper. I get home and it seems like he only put pepper not the others, and knew he messed up, so he covered it with a layer of lettuce that I didn't ask for. I didn't get a receipt, so I can't say who helped it was within the last 20 min though, so around 7:40pm. Bummer that he didn't just say he messed up and offer to redo. There is way too much pepper on this to top it off. This is the second time I've been to this location and they messed up the last time they at least corrected the mistake. Was happy when this location opened since it's closer than the other one, but looks like I have to stick to the Gilbert and Warner location since they don't care about quality here.

Brand new location. Manager & 2 crew members were all super friendly & professional. I ordered a Giant Roast Beef & Provolone & a Regular Italian. The crew members didn't rush me while asking what I wanted on my sandwiches & placed everything on them evenly & properly proportioned. The bread was hot & straight out of the oven & both sandwiches came out great. Thanks so much for the quality made sandwiches & great customer service, we will definitely be back.

I have to say that it's the best one I've ever had in Arizona, and I've tried many over the past nearly 4 decades. The meat was delish, and it was a good amount. The bread, not a bagel, was larger than typical slices and very good as well. The price was surprisingly reasonable too! The price was nearly the price of a half sandwich that you get elsewhere. The service was great, and when I asked to speak to Sam, she was working the register, hustling to stay on top of all the ordering going on, eager to accommodate everyone. She was truly working to help everyone have a very good experience, and genuinely interested in operating in excellence. She took time to yalk with me and explain their bagel making process, and the quality meats, cheeses and bread she uses. She is all about quality. I'll be back. It's a must try, if you're looking for bagels or excellent corned beef sandwiches. One important note is that they're closed M-W, and only open until 2 the rest of the week. TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT!!!

As long as you freeze them fresh (same day) you are golden! I brought these home (a lot of them lol) like 3 weeks ago and we are still enjoying them! Pull them out the night before to thaw out in the fridge or you can wrap in foil completely and put in air fryer on bake at 325° (from frozen) for like 10 mins or so....enough time to be able to cut open. Toast them and enjoy with whatever you like :-p they are just like having them freshly baked! Service is GREAT! Everyone is so nice! We love to support family owned businesses and esp those that are friendly, hard working, and deeelicious! The bagel shop is small and clean. A few tables outside and a small bar/counter right to left as you walk in. Everything we've tried is yummy! Can't go wrong! Thank you to all the workers here (sorry I don't know everyone's name)....esp Sam, John, Lenny, Leo, and Emma!!!!!! With love from California! Congrats to the NY Knicks on an incredible win!

From the moment we walked in, the cook herself greeted us with the kind of warm, genuine smile that makes you forget you're in a public space. By the end of the evening she had invited us to her actual home for cooking lessons--like we'd known her for years instead of minutes. That kind of unscripted hospitality is rarer than a perfect risotto. And the food? Pure deliciousness that matches the heart. Every bite sang with bright, honest Italian flavors--nothing fussy, nothing fake, just layers of garlic, herbs, tomatoes, and cheese that taste like they came straight from someone's nonna's Sunday table. The dishes were so full of soul you could almost hear the wooden spoon scraping the bottom of the pot. It's a small, unassuming spot that somehow manages to feel both intimate and alive. You leave not just full, but genuinely happy, already daydreaming about that next visit (and those promised cooking lessons). If you want Italian food that tastes like love served on a plate, stop searching. You've found it. Five radiant stars. Go. Bring friends. Learn to cook. Repeat.

We each selected the $44 set meal that included a Caprese salad and bread, fried calamari, hot bruschetta ragu, Sicilian-style lasagna and, ta da, gelato for desert. The fresh mozzarella was so gorgeous we ordered 2 balls to takeaway. Hot bruschetta ragu was simply lovely bread topped with a meat ragu and melted mozzarella. Honestly, we've had better calamari and would prefer a marinara sauce versus what tasted like French fry sauce. The lasagna was delicious and the serving of such a size we happily brought some home. My partner ordered South Africa Dark chocolate and Reese's gelato whilst I ordered Madagascar vanilla and key lime gelato. Whilst Dolce Vita is a restaurant it felt and tasted as if we were eating at someone's home. The young staff were super attentive and very knowledgeable about all on offer. I highly recommend you give Dolce Vita a go!

I highly recommend trying both, especially if you've never had a Chicago beef. The juicy beef paired with giardiniera is super savory. Damn! I'm craving it again. I think I've said that in another review... but for reals this time! The pizza was perfectly crispy on the bottom with just the right amount of basil to top off each bite. For dinner on our third visit, we ordered the clam linguine and an Italian beef sandwich. My husband says this clam linguine was better than the other versions he's eaten at Little Italy. I was killing time in Chandler when lunch time approached and getting a sandwich was on my brain…read more Thanks to the Yelp app, I was able to find Retro's Subs & Brews and it seemed like the perfect spot to cure my itch. I was super stoked to check a place with "retro" in the name out, and I gotta be honest here, I left with pretty mixed emotions about a lot of things. The restaurant itself is pretty boring inside, mostly just being black with a few small pictures hanging up. I was kind of expecting big retro movie posters or something hanging around, but I definitely didn't get much of a retro vibe from this place minus a small neon "bar" sign and a claw machine in the corner. The menus were very cool, right by the front door its a record shelf and the records were the menus, so thumbs up for that idea. I thought i was mistaken, but I don't remember seeing sandwich prices on the actual menu, but as I look at other photos on yelp it does appear that the sandwiches don't have prices attached to them, which explains why I was thrown off by the end price. I settled on ordering the "take on me" which was black forest ham, roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and mayo on a Hawaiian style roll. I also ordered a sprite and a chocolate chip cookie as a side. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, pretty standard cookie though definitely not worth $3.75. The sprite was $2.99, and the sandwich came to $15.58. I was also charged $0.96 for something called the advantage program which I have no idea what that is. I gotta say, spending over $25 on a sandwich, a small cookie, and a drink is not something I would care to do at a place like this. The sandwich itself was very good, I won't deny that. The meat tasted fresh, and when it was all together it was definitely a good sandwich, but when there's not combo option and a basic sandwich, cookie, and drink ends up being $25 it's gonna be a no from me on returning in the future. Overall, I really wanted to love this place for the name, but the lack of much decorations and prices left something to be desired. The food itself was good, but not worth what was spent.
