Stopped in for the first time. Had a "Super Sub" which is like an Italian. Bread was very fresh. Cold cuts and cheese of decent quality. Taste was excellent. Very cheap price for what you get. Only thing holding back a five star rating is cleanliness. Floor was dirty, and needed to be swept. Tables needed cleaning. Worst of all was the bathroom. It was filthy! Plus no toilet paper. Even after being told.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, I ordered a turkey sandwich, once I got out to my car to eat it it was just mayo and cheese why would I want to buy a sub with just cheese I could just stay home and eat one. Very rude judge-mental Mormon girls. Then when I came back in to get it remade they looked at me like I was crazy never said sorry nor how they could fix it. Horrible

A small sandwich shop that seems to be owned by locals and one of the reasons why I stopped by. I love sandwiches and this was a normal taste nothing out of the ordinary. They have 3 different sizes of subs and I got the foot long turkey/provolone on wheat. The bread was soft and tasted fresh, but it was normal bread nothing fancy about it. They do the basic toppings and have a few additional toppings to pick from. All the veggies tasted really good and they were fresh. I also added avocado to mine for a $1 more (not bad) and let me tell you they sure were not stingy with it which was my favorite part! The turkey meat had a good taste. The sandwich also came with pickle on the side which is a nice add. The shop itself is small and clean with 2 older arcade machines in the back. The people that helped me were nice and patient with me especially because it was my first time there. Just moved to the area and I'll definitely go back to try the other sandwiches. OH and you can order on grub hub for delivery which is a plus :)

I have seen much better, cheaper larger subs in Walmart . They are the the bottom of the barrel in every way . I paid 18 dollars for 2 tiny subs that was pedestrian at best and left a sour taste in my mouth. I will never return and I want my money back, thank you .

This is a small family owned sub shop that's been in the same plaza in this older part of Mesa for over 30 years. This is the original but they've since expanded all over Mesa. You'll find them tucked next to the Dirty Drummer bar on the corner in the same plaza as Wendy's. It can be hard to spot if you're not looking for it. They have brightly colored booth seating right when you enter. A few feet back is the counter to order. Depending on what time of day, you'll either see the owner working, his family, or your typical high school kids. I've always enjoyed their subs, whether it was as a young child or on lunch break long ago in high school. What I enjoy most is their meat selection and the fact that they have a generous helping of not too tart italian dressing and mayo on their subs. The combination is hard to describe but when it's done right, it tastes unlike any other sub.Their bread is soft and fluffy and they leave out the million and a half vegetables you'll get at other places, making it a true sandwich- not just a bunch of vegetables on bread. You can get your sandwich hot or cold and they have reasonably priced lunch specials btwn. 10 AM - 2 PM where you can get an 8 or 12 inch sub, drink, chips or pickle for between $4.63 - $5.23 They also do catering. Personally I think the Poorboy is one of the best with Salami, Spiced Ham, Bologna, & Provolone Cheese. I would never think of putting those meats together, let alone eat them by themselves, but for some reason they make it work. I love Krazy Sub :)

Not a bad place, but it's not in the best commercial center in Phoenix and it feels a bit run down when you arrive and enter. People are friendly, parking is good. The roast beef is almost a home run since it's made the way I like it. Really nice slices of beef, shredded lettuce, mayo, mustard, and tomatoes. Nice balance to everything. But...the bread was on the dry side and it made me wonder how good the sandwich could have been with fresher bread. I had a couple of bites of bliss but mostly disappointment in the end. I'll probably give the place another try and hope the bread issue was an outlier. If the bread is consistently good I can imagine myself eating here quite a bit.

This is a good ol stomping grounds kind of place. Literally across the street from where I was born and just up the street from where I grew up. The last time I was here yelp wasn't so much accessible. Now that I'm back in town and revisited I pay my dues to this sandwich shop that has remedied my hunger for a cold tasty sandwich! They have recently remodeled and the environment is up to date. Good staff and clean inside.

Always consistent subs! Like supporting those non-national sub shops. Been a staple in Mesa for years.

We were greeted by two friendly faces and asked if we visited before. The person behind the counter explained their array of offerings and was patient while we made a selection. There are a variety of donut flavors from plain to strawberry shortcake. In addition to donuts, they offer breakfast sanwiches, coffee, ice-cream, and cocktails. They also have a donut and beer flight! A bit spendy for a donut at $3.85 each or 4 for $15, but honestly, compared to other specialty donuts I've tried, this is worth it! The space was clean with plenty of seating. It was inviting and felt like a nice place to hang out for a bit. We opted for the maple as that's my go-to flavor and it did not disappoint! It was certainly sweet, but the glaze was well done. The layers are flaky, but also offered a bit of density, making the whole thing texturally enjoyable. We had to stop ourselves from indulging in another so as to not ruin our appetite, but we would certainly recommend and visit again!

Upon entering he asked if I was there for the pickup and I advised I wanted to place an order for to go. He was kind enough to take my order and direct me to their menu. I opted for a gyro sandwich thinking it would be a simple request. He not only took my order, but went to back to gather the ingredients to prepare on the grill. Once he compiled my order he even gave me an unexpected bonus (extra bread that was freshly heated up). The sandwich was amazing. Whatever the veggie combo is and dressing along with the ample, well seasoned gyro meat is...awesome. You won't go away hungry, I'm fact, I only ate 1/2, and saved the other for lunch the next day. It's a small to med size business and clean counter area. I would highly recommend this place, I know I will be back for more!

I get there's a labor shortage, but there was one person behind the counter who was new and seemed to be the only person there. She was so new that she couldn't answer questions about the menu items. She was also left to do all of the cooking by herself. We were the only two people in the restaurant, and it took 30 minutes to get food that wasn't good. The meat was dry, and the fried cauliflower was soggy and seemed old. The online menu indicated choices for the plates, but we weren't asked about choices of salad or rice. In fact, the online menu was more informative than anything they had in store. Speaking of the menu...as you can see in the photo for this Yelp page, the prices on the displayed menu were covered up. With inflation, I'm sure they had to raise prices, but at least put the new ones up. We asked for a menu with prices, but the person had to search for one, explaining again that she was new. I initially gave this restaurant two stars because we did eventually get food that was passably edible, but then, I remembered the prices. My passably edible shwarma combo was $15.
