Manager in the kitchen on her phone
    Autumn B.

03/01/2025 It's cute how you're trying to blame DoorDash's algorithm and the system for your delay, but let's address a few things here. First off, *six minutes* was the time I was told by one of your workers when I asked for an estimate, so you can save the whole "system" excuse. When I walked in, there were already *three customers* sitting in the lobby, eating--so it's not like you're running some kitchen operation so complex that a 20-minute wait should be the standard for every order. Second, while I get that food is made to order, it should NEVER take more than 20 minutes for something that was already supposed to be ready in *6 minutes*. So, don't try to pull the "our menu items take 20 minutes" card when your timing was way off. It's not the system, it's the procrastination on your end. And you know what? It's not like I was being rude about it--I use to work in the food industry, I get it. I tried to explain that, but your response? "I didn't ask about your life story." Charming. Then you hit me with "You're wasting your time"--real professional. Maybe I wouldn't have felt like I was wasting my time if I didn't have to sit around for 20 minutes because of YOUR procrastination, not to mention the completely unnecessary attitude from your end. As for the picture of you being on your phone, maybe you should've been handling the orders rather than looking for ways to handle a "rude" DoorDash driver--who was just waiting for an order that was supposed to be ready *20 minutes* ago. Maybe your focus should be on getting things right on your end instead of pointing fingers. Hope that clears things up. 02/21/25 I was picking up a DoorDash order and had waited 20 minutes for the order to be ready. The manager argued with me and told me that I was wasting my time on waiting for the order when I could've canceled it. Then she tries to tell me that the order requires an extra 15 to 20 minutes after the pickup time which was 11:01am. She tried to tell me that the DoorDash app was wrong and argued with me instead of just bagging up the order and giving it to me. It was sitting right behind her the entire time. Then she goes back on her phone in the kitchen after raising her voice at me. The manager left the poor girl in the front to take a group of 10. And didn't even bag the order! Just went to the kitchen and left it the girl in the red. Retraining or new management needs to be done at this location.

    Buffalo very hot fries

Basic simple fries with boneless wings on top. Food was good and fresh. Service was ok, there was maybe total 4 staff working. The ambiance was ok chill music, volume a little to high as I did felt I had to speak up when ordering. Over all experience was good. Would I come again? Maybe not like I mentioned food is good but it's basic simple my kids would like it.

Very disappointing. Drove 25 minutes to try. I got 15 wings. Half lemon pepper and half the other dry rub you offer. It felt like the rub were just sprinkled on my wings after you placed them in the to-go container. Most of the wings were naked. Some had rub on one side of the wing. Shame because the few bites I got with the rub were actually really good. Make it right, guys. PS, staff were very friendly and the restaurant very clean.

While driving by MCC, we had seen an ad advertising that the best buffalo fries was here at The Buffalo Spot. So of course we were curious an had to stop by. Buffalo fries, chicken wings, and the Buffalo Cali Burrito were ordered. The Buffalo Fries were good but I'd pass on the wings if we order here again. The Buffalo Cali Burrito is pretty much an order of Buffalo fries inside a tortilla. It's a really good concept for those on the go. The Buffalo Spot is a decent choice for when you want some fries and buffalo chicken bites. Solid 3-stars!

Q: What day do chickens hate the most? A: Fry-day! So is this place the best wing spot? No. Can you gets some cluck-and-spuds? Yes! And you know what, sometimes that's all it takes to make your day. I tried 15 traditional bone-in wings (half Pineapple Jalapeño and half Jamaican Jerk), an order of Buffalo Fries, and a Buffalo Cali Burrito. The Pineapple Jalapeño was very very very mild in flavor. The heat factor being almost non-existent. Have you ever been electrocuted by a phone charger? It has less tingle than that. The Jamaican Jerk wings was an explosion of flavor though. As for the Buffalo Cali Burrito, it's pretty much just Buffalo Fries nestled neatly inside a tortilla. The fries and the burrito were pretty good and I enjoyed them both. The Buffalo Spot opened back in 2013 in Long Beach, CA and has since opened up more locations in California, Nevada, Texas, and here in sunny-and-lovely Arizona. Come for the Buffalo Fries! Solid 3.5 stars.

I had a lab appointment next door to this place so my boyfriend stopped in and ordered us some boneless what looked like round chicken balls lol. He ordered the medium for himself and mango habanero for me since I love extra spicy food. The chicken is pretty good at a good price on a Tuesday there's a few different flavors to try. The manager at this location is friendly and if you're from Long Beach California like myself this place originated out of So Call so they have my support 100% get out and try this place at least once you're either going to like it or not.

Both mild wings that were given.

Me and my roommate came for lunch today ordered atomic and Honey BBQ we got home and we're given the Atomic and Mild not a big deal I called and told them what was wrong, whoever I was on the phone with sounded she didn't care at all. I was told that they would be remade and so I went to pick them up got there was told they still had 5-10 min and was handed mild again tried to bring this up to the girl at the register and she continued to ignore me and be on her phone I ended up leaving so disappointed I have been to other locations and have had no issues and the food is great. I have been in the food industry for the last 6+ years with management experience and never have i had something like this happen. Will not be coming back to this location. Retraining is definitely needed.

    Slimy soggy wings

Soggy Wings n Fries. Yummmmmmm So I've tried 3 times. Great consort yet poor poor delivery. Last time I ordered take out and the fries and chicken were soggy and cold. I called to alert the manager and I was told to order sauce on the side next time. So next time is here........... I ordered 4 orders $50 sauce on the side with an order of traditional wings. I was told wings take 20 min to cook. Ok But took 30 minutes and wings weren't even crispy. See pic. Cold and slimy. When order came up 30 min later all buffalo fries had sauce on them. When I brought it to the managers attention I was told that sauce on the side does not mean sauce on the side LOL Long story short after spending over $50 I got home too cold soggy french fries and cold slimy wings. When you do only one thing you should do it good. If you follow me you know that I am not about bad reviews but truth needs to be told.

The bottom inch was all sauce.

Generally when I go to this buffalo spot location it is FANTASTIC, but, recently it could go either way. I came in today and the employees weren't really paying attention and when I got my buffalo fries they were absolutely drenched in sauce. Every fry was inedible and soggy before I could even take one bite and the chicken was too drenched as well. When I say drenched I mean volume wise there was probably more sauce than fries. I will say it was not very appetizing.

Solid food. The buffalo fries always hit the spot on a Friday night. I love that you can order your own food from the Kiosk now, and the employees are very personable. Good food & quick service!

Cajun wings supper good. The other half jalapeno pineapple wasint a fan of that one.

You won't wait long to be welcomed, for your food, for a refill or for your receipt at the end of your dining experience. We started with their honey hot wings. Our party of three decided to split one of the numerous salads they offer & went with the steak & walnut salad. It includes grilled steak slices, blue cheese crumbles & crispy onion rings ( made in house) . The dressing was a light vinaigrette that made this a delicious & delightful thing to share amongst us all. For dinner we went with one of their "create your own" pizzas. Our favorite toppings are: pepperoni, garlic & basil. This was a great presentation & pie! From service to staff, to cooks in the kitchen we had a great dining experience! Everything was legit. Despite this, there was only one person working -- a server who was also acting as the bartender -- trying to handle everything. At one point, a woman came in to pick up a to-go order and stood waiting for quite a while. When the server finally got to her, she joked, "Are you the server, bartender, and cook?" His response: "I just don't cook." Her food still wasn't ready, so she had to keep waiting. I ordered a grapefruit mimosa, which cost $9.55 but was only about three-quarters full in the wine glass. Why serve it like that? It just felt skimpy. After finishing my drink, I sat for another 10 minutes waiting to close out my tab. This was actually my second visit. We came once before for dinner with friends since we all live in Mesa and thought the concept was cool and close to home. Unfortunately, the service then was just as bad, even with more staff on shift. I had hoped stopping in for a quick drink would be a better experience -- but sadly, it wasn't. I won't be back. It's a shame because the place has potential, but management really needs to take staffing seriously.
